Thank you Water!
I've used them twice and they are reliable, they communicate well, and they do work. They have cleaned and inspected my furnace, and fixed my water heater vent so it would exhaust properly. I had that done by somebody else and it was not done. These men fixed it properly.
I've been working for at least 5 years with Mike and his staff . From replacing a furnace in our property Mike delivered and has taken directly. Recently we embarked on a complete remodel of both our toilets. It took almost 4 trips to make everything happen and despite modifications in extent, they made everything happen, it seems great, and at a reasonable price. Samantha has been a pleasure to work with as well. Great group of people can not wait to bring them out again for then the kitchen and the second bathroom and to work with!
Out 3 times to perform repair work in our 15, we have had this company. The first two times were great. The third was a DISASTER! They quoted fix the old one & move to another bathroom, replace a bathroom that leaked, and also to repair a sink that was partly separated from the granite and correct the plumbing underneath that leaked. They promised us before starting that they"do so all of the time" and"if you understand what you're doing it can be achieved right" Well, within an hour of starting the projectthey BROKE the sink, literally in half! We're eager to let people fix their mistakes, so we did not panic. They discovered a replacement sink that one was still made b/c our granite was cut for this sink. They picked up it, then resumed work. In the process of"cutting just a tiny bit" of the cabinet, to make it match, they destroyed our sink base completely. The saw they utilized left gouges in the frame and the door, they ripped the front frame OFF of the cabinet, leaving a gap at the bottom of the cabinet, and they left big openings in the floor and back of the cabinet leaving exposed flooring, shingles and pipes. Again, believing they would fix their errors, we allow it go till the following day, they came back to finish. The adhesive had to cure and they came back to finish re-attaching everything. The following day they arrived and attached everything but my husband could not be there, so that he phoned them beforehand and told them we'd need to discuss the cabinet damage and they would need to come back when he would be there to examine it before we paid. But we could not go with no sink daily. They left the bill and were fine.
That's when the problems started! What should have been a 1600 job for all three regions of the project, (about the large end, we had been given a range quote) abruptly turned into $2300! Really?! So the bill padded, our sink struck and therefore are faced with an expensive cabinet repair! They had the nerve to CHARGE us for the replacement sink after ours struck! They up-charged us for an upgrade, for the bathroom. They included a trip charge that was never discussed. They included additional fees for the drain work that was supposed to be contained in the bid. In addition, they would not accept the level of damage they did to the cabinet's whole structure. They claimed they had to do this to get the sink that was new . Well if they hadn't broken the old sink, they would not have had to put a fresh one in. Our max price for this sink repair was supposed to be $800, including drain work. That was a lot of money for this repair. My husband hesitated, telling them he wasn't considering taking the sink out he planned to have it pushed up and re-glued with cubes to support. During the quote Mike promised us"if you understand what you're doing and do it right, there will be no problems" Then claimed he had no option but to cut on the cabinet so it wasn't his faultthe sink was too significant. Really? He understood what size before he started the work, the sink and the cabinet were. He advised us that when the sink broke cut out our cabinet, destroying it and we'd need to cover it. . .and we'd need to cover this too. He billed us $1403 for a sink repair that was supposed to cost $800 shirts. Then he padded other parts of the bill to compensate for what was sure to be a profit loss with repair to the cabinet. Plus we likely have a 500 -$700 cabinet repair to do! Hmm. . .if we'd understood this undertaking would cost us around $2100 only for the sink part, we'd have said NO! $800 was a lot for us to invest, but he stated he could do it"right" so that we agreed to invest it. We'd have had a different answer with a $2100 expense!
Expect to cover their mistakes! In writing b/c they don't stick to their 12, get it!
No, its not our fault you broke destroyed the sink our cabinet. We settled for less, but insufficient to cover the cost of our cabinet that was damaged. And of course the huge mess they left in my kitchen. Failure left a fine black dust . I even offered to move my items and he explained it was not vital. Should I even mention their failure to put on booties in my home after the first few moments? And leaving goo and debris they functioned in? The company description says that they are honest and honest with good communication, this is not our experience. We are not unreasonable people. We just expect companies to keep to their word, and own their mistakes. Upgrade: My husband DID leave a review following the first two times, he also took it down. Really inadequate response to this issue!
John was prompt, fairly priced and courteous. He even walked step-by-step throughout the practice of draining my drain and also to expect to pay for the instrument I could do it myself in the future.
John gave the homeowner I worked with support and inspected a water heater for me last summer. He's very honest and does not build up fear to grow the bill. I am sorry I forgot to post this earlier, but I rememebed last week when I ran into him.
If you'd like quality and fantastic service you want this company! Inform us has been efficient and get our furnace running. Fantastic Job!!!
