OTECH Plumbing & HVAC

I've used OTECH for my HVAC wants and I want to mention that his team & Jafar are awesome. Beyond the talent that he brings, he provides very competitive pricing and is honest. He has never tried to upsell me on products I really don't desire, nor bill. I recently had them change resolve a plumbing problem related to water hammer & my HVAC system out, and they took good care of both of them for a very competitive cost, and with no hitch. Thank you!

I was about to call somebody that had great evaluations, generally, but many women complained they were misogynistic and did too much"mansplaining." I am so glad I moved with Jafar of all OTECH. Respectful guy, no"mansplaining!"
My residence is nearing 20 years, so I know upkeep will be rather expensive in the next 2-5 years. I will be using him to replace my water heater when it goes, my air conditioners when they go... hell, when he painted his spare time I'd have him repaint the home!!
He found out right away that the guy who went up in the loft a couple of days earlier to test something else had turned off a wall mounted power switch (it's confusing as we have another switch for a light bulb too). I am sure that one of the companies would have made up a story about how I switched on the switch, billed me and needed this or that!

My air conditioner went poof! Additionally, I wanted to confirm the sump pumps. I was dreading to phone one of these big companies that will charge you an arm and a leg and always try to offer you a miraculous"preventive article of gear," if you do not want or desire it. They always"happen to have" said gear in their truck and tell you how lucky that is!
He advised me to install gravel around my air conditioner units to keep them tidy. Calculated I had about 10 bags. Did he have would he deliver them later or them in his truck? NO. Told me to have them delivered and spread it .
I looked on yelp looking for an alternative to the frauds since I've had some fantastic luck with companies. After allthey have a reputation to maintain.
His visit cost me a mere $100 bucks!
He assessed my two sump pumps to be certain that they were working well, and advised me to find flood alarms. Did he would charge me a few obscene price and have them in his truck at a price? NO! He advised me to purchase them online. So he didn't even attempt to make money.

Okay folks, these men have a stellar rating because they are THAT good. I am always skeptical of service folks, but Jafar and his staff are outstanding. We had a tough challenge with our Carrier HVAC and Jafar kept in it. . .working different choices until the problem was fixed. He kept us throughout it all. He was available for his ideas and feedback over the telephone, weeks after his service call. Saved us a svc telephone number. He is good on pricing, too.
Call these folks. Don't mess around.

Took 450 bucks of mine for 2 hrs function, hvac still broken, couldn't fix or locate leak in my spiral, never called back after last follow up, left me high and dry, known as another firm and they used a system to tell me that the coil infact was broken, and gave estimates to replace or fix. Ended up moving to replace hvac. Avoid Otech that they don't have even the understanding to solve your problem, or the basic machines to diagnose. They provide you will take your cash and take off with your cash. Dollar for no long term fix and bad service.

It was nearly midnight when I discovered that our water heater was broken and there was water all within the utility area. Despite the late hour, I contacted OTECH. Jafar was quite responsive. He requested me to send images of the leak and provided to me instructions on how to stop the leak. He did not bill me for the advise nor attempted to imply to hire his firm for repairs. I called Jafar to schedule repairs. By rescheduling his appointments to make certain I could get back to the hospital to look after an ill family 25, I was accommodated by him. We hired our AC unit to be fixed by Jafar. Quality of work and his solutions are superb, although his prices aren't the lowest in the region. He is punctual and reacts to.

We just recently noticed a minor issue with one of those bathrooms and they came to our house within one day of calling, picked up an entirely new part to cover the issue and charged nothing to repair it saying that it was under guarantee in the initial installment.
We had two bathrooms are installed by OTECH a couple of months back and had a fantastic experience.
I am blown away by the fantastic customer support shown as well as their devotion to solving problems in an extremely reasonable price. We will use OTECH completely from now on.

On a Sunday, my air conditioner failed. they did not answer although I called several companies which were supposed to provide support or they replied but were too busy.
Otech replied on Sunday and was at my house within two hours. There were 3 different issues with the A/C. He was able to fix two of them quite quickly, but a replacement part was took by the 3rd, and the provider wasn't available on Sunday.
He did not charge any extra for the weekend service and did not charge anything he did on Monday.
He came back into my house with the replacement part morning on Monday and had it fixed within 20 minutes. He analyzed the machine thoroughly to make sure nothing is wrong with it and stayed.
I would highly recommend him as he is very dependable, fast, and economical.

OTECH was called by me according to their reviews. Last week as it was one of the hottest months of this year, the top zone of both zone AC unit house wasn't emitting atmosphere. The top 2 floors of our 4 level townhouse were rather hot. OTECH was called by me and spoke to Jafar. He told me that he was working on another job in my area and that would have the ability to find later. He said when he was out an hour, which he did, he would text me. He and his helper analyzed the device, told me that it had freon, cleaning the coils, substituted some minor tune ups and a part. They had been at our house for about 1.5 hours and got it working again fairly quickly. We were billed $245, which we thought was reasonable given the amount of time it required to repair and that they could come out the exact same day. The one thing I'd say desired improvement was I wish they'd provided a statement so we had it for our documents for the work that was completed. Other than that, Jafar was dependable, professional and honest. I'd definitely recommend him!

We had to call OTECH for an emergency water heater leak we discovered late Saturday night. He managed to come out early Monday morning to asses everything needed to be carried out and responded immediately and professionally Though I called Jafar on a Sunday afternoon.
I feel comfortable in knowing that there is to OTECH a call spent although you never aspire to use services often.
Jafar was certain to let us know which type of water heater he had been installing, the way to register it for the warranty, possible trouble spots with the home's water pressure/HVAC/washer-dryer, etc.. Jafar also responded to txt or any call quickly and informatively. For me, that's the definition of"over and beyond", also I would like to return the favor with highly advocating OTECH to those in need of great plumbing/HVAC services.

I was very impressed with these men. When they didn't have to To begin with they accommodated my schedule. Very prompt. Second, they appeared to be very proficient and knowledgeable. I threw a leaky faucet: 3 issues, an HVAC heating unit that wasn't heating. Jafar knew what to do, and mended all three at a flash. He didn't even charge me. The simple fact that this company does both plumbing and HVAC is such a plus, cause if you have both issues at once, you get only 1 service call charge. Oh, and don't forget to mention the client support is quite friendly and pleasant. Excellent.

Attempted to source for vendor solutions never heard back. Had to move on to a vendor to complete work that is necessary.

We a client. My boyfriend and I had a clogged toilet in our master bathroom. The water flowed and leaked into our kitchen. I called Omid Kaveh and he came out as fast as you can. He was very fast. It was stuck at the toilet. He was very friendly and very quick. He cleaned the ground and made sure the toilet water has been running. He deserves fame!!!!!!

Sometime past, Jefar came out to check out a warning message in my thermostat that appeared to be somewhat severe (maybe not"time to change the filter" or something simple like that). He did a few tests and made an adjustment to the electric panel of the system, and the message went away. He clarified that it was something simple though I do not remember what that was.
This inspection is overdue that is WAYYYYY, but Jefar is an technician! He is also competent.
I recommend Jefar to anyone for honest, competent service!
The purpose is that since then (nearly a year ago), I haven't seen that message, nor has my own system . After aout 45 minutes, he said that he was done, shook my hand, and turned around to depart. When I asked how much I owed him, he said"I didn't actually do anything besides create an alteration, which means you don't owe me anything". I asked if he didn't charge for the visit, to which he replied"no more". WHO DOES THAT?! I persuaded him to take a bill for his efforts.

Friday before a summer weekend, the A/C within my condo ceased functioning. I called on Saturday and the large companies could not come out until Monday. I predicted OTECH and the technician was out in 3 hours.
The technician was fantastic: knowledgeable and very friendly. He had a can-do attitude, he did not give me any BS, and also the quote he gave me was true. He did not try to add extra fees and also kept his word.
These men are my later on. When I find a great one, so I understand, I have used other businesses before.

His over the telephone consultation helped me determine in which the difficulty started. This man is fair. I have called several businesses in the Northern VA area & they do not compare.
April 26th: This firm was super responsive & immediately wanted to complete my repair.
If I need any immediate and emergency assistance, I will call OTECH!!
May 15th Update: I had another plumbing dilemma & this firm was helpful!

Seemed too good to be true, but within that window I had two technicians arrive and get straight to work. They found that a compressor and while I'll eventually need to replace the 20yr old unit, they could get this up and running for now. All to get a reasonable service charge.

My spouse, 18month 4 week old old, and puppy could not be happier - even though this is a short term solution.
Our second son had just turned 4 weeks old when we noticed our house A/C unit had ceased heating one Saturday. We'd originally bought a house warranty with our home (repent it) and tried to work through their seller to schedule emergency service. After automated prompts, multiple calls, and no reply, I found OTEC and turned to Yelp.
My first call was instantly answered by an actual man and despite the Saturday timing, I was provided a window of 2-3hrs for them to be at my house.

Responsive HVAC service I have ever used. I moved into my condo under a year ago and unbeknownst to me, the owner hadn't maintained that the PTAC AC unit. When water started leaking into my neighbours home, it had become a problem, and they came out twice to manage the issue. I would strongly recommend otech and will use them later on.

Bottom Line: an honest, responsive runs, and reasonably priced business in an market ridden with those looking to make the most of vulnerable homeowners. Give them a call if using a connection is valuable to you.
I had my A/C system head out mid-July. I gave OTECH a call Sunday morning, not expecting anyone to return my call until Monday at the earliest. In my astonishment, a tech picked up instantly and allow me to know they might be at my home within one hour. The technician identified the issue and obtained to troubleshooting. He did a great job educating me as to exactly what the issue was, describing what had to be done to fix it and gave me transparent pricing on the cost of labor and materials. An honest home-services company can be difficult to come across these days, do yourself a favor and give these guys a chance.
They're now a permanent fixture in my contacts list and have earned my business for years to come.

Jafar did an superb job of cleaning the region , clearing a clog in my driveway drain, and providing advice that is useful to protect against the problem later on. He had been fair to his quote (which compared quite favorably to other people I previously called), and completed the work promptly. Highly recommended.

My neighbor called her water heater issue to be troubleshot by Jafar and then to test mine next door. He had been quick, even and explained everything came back to check it again later and give me choices for the job and pricing. I'm feeling good about his work ethic, pricing, the choices and efficiency. I would recommend him to friends and acquaintances. He gets five stars from me.
