Some dreadful bottomfeeder from the pit of Hell jammed a bit of timber so the key jammed inside was captured up with by the lock when the key was inserted. 40 minutes had elapsed between calling his departing and Mena and everything was taken care of. The strain was gone and that I appreciated it. Mena is a great guy and is now my goto guy for security related problems or any lock.
Mena is wonderful.

I had been in desperate need of somebody to install locks and this firm was the only one who consented to the task despite attempts with area locksmiths and other home support providers. Jay Sofer was courteous, prompt, and professional. I would recommend them.

They have everything you need in the series line. Things you can put in your keys to distinguish them apart. Very helpful when you are responsible for flats. Locks ASAP.
As soon as I needed gates from the windows in my apartment they arrived to install. They failed or they advocated someone. The service which has been as I asked and prompt. That was years back.

I have never got keys copied! I was literally in and out over 2 minutes (if not less). The man was exceptionally friend (which is always appreciated) and to receive 2 keys copied just charge me $5.44.

Phone Mena if you want experience and options. He will take care of you and your lock requirements. He came and corrected an appointment to assure I obtained the locks on my new apt in a timely manner so I feel secure and could proceed. THANK YOU MENA!!
You need to consider the quality while the high end locks are expensive. And I managed to pay with my card.
I just didn't give it 5 stars as I am now wanting a plate around the lock. I am going to have to have one additional - call me Mena!

So I went on yelp and found Night & Day Locksmith because of the reviews. And the cost was $125 to get in the flat - that was 1/3 of the other quote.FILE_0_EXTENSIONrise surprise! .
Definitely I recommend this locksmith, and warn the others to be cautious when selecting anyone when it comes to solutions that you aren't familiar with and you are in a position of desperation.
I am postponed in writing this review, but I want to be sure so others know I do. The lock on my apt door wouldn't open it had to be replaced after all these years. I trusted the superb to call over his recommended locksmith, who assured me that this was the market rate and ended up requesting an amount that was insane. That I didn't feel he was being honest we'd all become Locksmiths, although I knew nothing about the cost of this service. .
Anyhow, Isaac, (I believe his name) came immediately and was incredibly patient and instantaneous. Including replacement into a newer lock, A very friendly and honest locksmith, who handled the problem.

Quick, responsive and very knowledgeable!! Got me out of a dip in less than 1 hr! Finest price after multiple quote requests in NYC.

In composing this Somewhat delayed but I just wanted to thank Mena because of his work on installing a new lock and including a chain lock. Rates are reasonable and he was professional and efficient. Would recommend to every friend.

Actually, I had been so impressed with him & his concern for the standing of his enterprise, their safety & his customers, I asked him for his card so that I can refer him.
He went above & beyond what was necessary to create this up to me. I was reimbursed by him in full, altered my locks free of charge & with the surface of the line lock that's far more expensive than what I initially needed to cover.
When he met me at my building, my doorman watched him said"Mena! This guy's the very best!" I hope my doorman.
He is one of the nicest folks I've met. He is highly recommended by me.

Than that I do regarding the experience I had for myself I really feel worse for Mena - somebody he trusts referred out the telephone on a really very active night . He explained he has made sure that never happens. This was the very first & last time & he lost sleep over it.
I initially had an experience which was stellar & I know was NOT the fault of the locksmiths or Night, Menashe & Day they generally use on a busy night.

I must say, if I had not gotten locked outside, had a lousy experience & written about it on Yelp, I would not have fulfilled Mena. It's funny how things work out sometimes. I am happy I have a locksmith & neighbour who I can trust & send my customers to.

Cost was ridiculous. It took 1 minute to him to open my car door, and the car had been in Manhattan, not some way that was far away high. The price was insane, rip off.

They arrived after 11pm on a Sunday night in less than 30 minutes to substitute an old door knob which dropped off. The front door works and locks can you ask for?

In addition, I have to commend the men that work here just generally. Eli is friendly and sweet and always makes me feel with his charm and smile, and another man has the New York gruff kind of mindset that you can't help but smile and appreciate.
I love these guys and always refer my customers to them, therefore I wanted to make sure I gave them a person shout out as well. They just the best!
When it comes to copying keys, That is hands down THE BEST locksmith in all Manhattan. I run a dog walking company and we need two types of keys from our customers for walk-up buildings, and these days more and more buildings appear to be installing the high-security multi-lock form keys, which was the bane of my existence on account of their difficulty to be reproduced and management companies propensity to always scoff at providing extra sets for our clientele.
Input Night & Day Locksmith into the rescue! Over the previous five years I've been running my company, these men have time and time again been able to provide the next set of keys to our customers which people need, and for an extremely reasonable price. The other locksmiths that we have discovered that can copy the multi-lock keys typically cost between $50-$75 for its dumb key while $25 per key only charges. I also brought into a key one time which had been twisted in a lock (because apparently I have superman strength) and the men were able to tear it out and create a new copy that match the doorway so that I could drop the puppy I had with me back at home.

Prompt service. Quality craftsmanship that is comparable to traditional NYC retailers. Without question, I'd recommend Night and Day Locksmith.

Scam artists.
This is not the act of a respectable business. They took advantage of the fact that I was not around, although I understand they need to make money on items that are more expensive.
We put a consultation up with these guys.
We needed to get a cylinder changed, no big thing. I called for a price and was given a choice between a'standard' lock along with also a'high security' lock, and opted for the standard since we live in a doorman building and aren't actually concerned with a serious break-in situation, particularly considering the price difference ($95 versus $200+).
They get consent to do the job. Unfortunately I wasn't able to be in the apartment at the point, and her mother and my fiance were there. The locksmith gave them an upsell into the'high security' lock without mentioning the price difference, instead simply telling them that the ceremony was'paid for' two days once I gave them my credit card on the telephone.

Every time that I want a cylinder changed to get a vacant office, I could trust Night and Day would be there to do the job...

Night and Day came to my flat to substitute my lock when I moved in 3 decades ago. I didn't think about writing a review until I went into the store to have some secrets realized and created they deserved a shout out. Despite there being locksmiths closer to me because I loved I walked all the way around there. There were three locks on the door, but I exchanged just one because of their recommendation and my budget. They were very honest about what I needed for my location and steel door. It was done quickly and well. Like they guarantee their secrets - all of them worked flawlessly though, so actually, no demand. Also, he let me understand that two of my keys were $20 a piece before he made them which I totally appreciate. High five to Night and Day. Thank you for also selling service and a product, and being honest, honest.

Surprisingly support. Tried to explain what I had which was a simple deadbolt lock to get a new apartment, but I am pretty certain and called on a Saturday after reading those reviews it seemed how anything seems when I try to outline. Anyhow, Isaac came right over, and I was surprised that somebody could arrive that quickly. I then was even more amazed that they were able to accomodate my petition and realized I had been calling when the shop hours were going to finish, and looked on the site!
On top of that, I dwell on the upper floor of a walk-up so it's not a joyous experience for anybody to come visit me, be it friends, delivery people, or care services, and Isaac was really good-natured and friendly!
I'd suggest them to anybody. The whole ordeal from phone call to finish of support had been less than an hour (both my aggressively and their place is on the UES).

I decided to have mailbox keys copied & my flat, which I had been meaning to do for a while and stumbled upon this particular locksmith. What a lucky find -- the owner is nice and helpful. Rare to find such service nowadays. Very pleased to have a fantastic business.
