The extended version:
We had such a bad experience for this'"firm" we have complaints using the SCSA and the BBB on it's way. There's a filtered review of a situation in 2010 I need before ever calling this people I read.
Please BEWARE of doing business.
Hawthorn Locksmiths Service
Though this wasn't the very best price I found, it appeared still fair, and most importantly, convenient, and I figured that the extra $20 were to pay the"beginning from" price my husband got to sunday, so I asked them to come over. The girl on the telephone said the technicians were in their way and there would arrive in 20 minutes.
Look at this, my very first one-star-review!
The Brief version:
Hawthorne, California 90250
1 hour and 40 minutes after the technicians called me to tell me they had been coming. Two minutes after the secret is made and they must work and they ask me to attempt to turn the car on. It will not do the job, they explain me that because the car is a version, further programing of this key will be needed, and that will cost me additional $110. I mentioned I had been quoted a total of 120 and I wasn't keen to pay more than that. I phoned their office, spoke to the"manager". Nothing, for $120 all I could get is that the non crucial they simply made and I must pay the excess fee to program it.
Santa Monica Locksmith Service
We tried to find their shop. There's not any shop. During their telephone number we discovered listed a couple of brick and mortar locations (that I mention in the start of this review) that are fake.
On sunday my spouse known as LAX locksmith and got a"beginning from $100" quote. This men drive to you, which appeared pretty handy at the time. My hubby went to a business trip and requested me to call them back, which I did on monday. I given the make and model of the car and that I had to duplicate a fully working essential (it appears the service is far more complex when you have lost both keys) and I asked to get a FULL QUOTATION. They said it'd be 120, for example, cost of driving to my place.
A minute after and $230 poorer my crucial was ready and all programed to go. I have no idea how much I would have paid another shop, but I hate feeling cheated.
I had to duplicate a car key. My husband and I called several places and learnt that not many businesses can perform it. We got a couple of quotations.

So I only arrived from TX and left my keys over. I call these guys and there. I request a quote and the dispatcher says"My man will give you a cost once he appears at your car". He informs me 20 minutes max and I wind up waiting 45 minutes. He examines the car and quotes me $150!! Being that I needed the key I let him proceed. I give my card run it yet to the man he insists on money. The choices he face me were"Drill a hole or via prying the door free of damage". Roadside assistance said he would open it for $20 passed. These guys are unprofessional and incredibly expensive. Personally, I don't recommend them and I will not so firm together.
