I did fairly well so I happened to get the $110 me charged cash. They do accept credit cards and checks .
Well, 35 minutes later, a person showed up. Within an unmarked car or truck. Nice. I'm a woman, it's after 2AM, I'm by myself, and a male technician is sent by you over to my condominium in an UNMARKED car or truck. This might have been the beginning of a tragic occasion. But then again, maybe I watch too Dateline.
After 15 minutes worth of fiddling (and me holding my breath the entire period ), he got the door open. Of course, this did not fix my problem of getting my key stuck in the lock (I was not going to pay another $95 for him to replace my locks once I could do it myself to the price of a new lock in Home Depot*), but at least I was in.
I might bump this up if I find out that my charge was ordinary. I'm just pleased to be home.
Anyhow, after an evening out in the match, I returned to my residence. I had managed thus far, although I have been having some problems getting in due to the cold weather messing together with the lock on the door. Until tonight. I could not for the life of me get the door open. I fiddled with the key from the door for 5 minutes, and now I suppose my key had had enough, because it snapped off at the door.
I called the first locksmith my iPhone pulled .' Hmm. I called, and they promised to send out a technician .
I just can't, although typically I would rate this adventure as 4 stars. I really don't know not or whether I was overcharged. The technician arrived well after the estimated 20 minute timeframe (if you look at their site, they actually promise a 15 minute timeframe). He came in an unmarked car.
I was cold, tired, and it was 1:45 AM. I called AAA. They do house lockouts, but only in the very least level (I was one level below that). Fuckers.
So I'm typing this because a tired Stephanie, so bear in mind. It is 2:55AM, and I must be sleeping, but I'm a firm believer in Yelping shortly after an experience with a restaurant, business, etc..
Decision by'do it MYSELF', I truly mean that I'm going to get my boyfriend take action, but who is keeping track?
Anyhow, the guy advised me it'd be $ 75 to get me in, plus a $35 charge just for him to emerge, and was nice enough. Having NO past experience I did not know not or whether this was standard, but what exactly was I going to do? It was 2:30AM, I was tired, and I had to enter my house. I didn't actually have the time cost check and to call around. Cut me some slack, here!
Shit.

I'm awaiting my locksmith to return and give me a 18, as I type this. He wasn't positive how far it would be sketch right? No matter my GF and I locked ourselves out I our apt. It has happened before so we know the deal but this place I will not ever use. I was told 20 minutes. He showed up in 45. . Then after telling me that the lock wasn't able to be started (when I had obviously seen it done before) or that he wasn't permitted to I appeared in his bag and told him to use the automatic lock picker and magically the door opened. He worked less than 5 minutes. I was charged $99 dollars ($109 if I used a credit card) so $100 since I do not generally carry sufficient $1s because of that. Every time before I had been charged $65 - because that is a standard AND REASONABLE speed, so I tipped. Not highway robbery! In all unless you wanna discard money, wait eternally, and/or cant find anybody else: do not use them.
