I had 3 options:
3) Locate a company that wishes to'earn' their charges.
I had A & A out into the home before and they left the repairs no issue. I think they adjusted monitor and the series. Not overly intricate. I do not recall any after-hours/emergency call charge for appointments after 4. In addition they are not available on Saturday. So the homeowner is forced by this into these additional fees. That is ridiculous!
I talked with A & A and called about obtaining a tech on site and inquired. One of the doorways keeps coming off course. When I asked for a consultation at 5 pm because I get off of work at 4:30 I was advised that whatever after 4 pm is considered an"emergency after-hours call and could incur an additional charge".
2) Pay the after-hours fee for an emergency service call that is neither after-hours or an emergency.
If it's after 7 pm my HVAC firm, appliance ALL work on Saturday and ONLY charge an additional fee that is after-hours.
Another company will be out tomorrow at 5:30. No service call charge. No after-hours or crisis charge. It's an inexpensive part that is potential and an adjustment. I was quoted $69 labor plus any components.
The proprietor refused to correct a issue his technician created without our consent, after spending over $ 8,500 dollars with this company. Our team has had problems before but this day everything was working fine before the technician showed up and start ripping out our wiring without telling us he had been on our house and said he was likely to charge use parts and labor. We said no and they left a mess the proof is in the photos we took.
