Key Shack Locksmith. Great on time support. 2/3rds cheaper than Reed Brothers. We only started using them in the school where I work. Quick turnaround time to finish work. We had locks re-keyed, duplicated, and a lock . Quick, inspection and friendly, great prices and quotations. Now our #1 support 3rd party supplier of support for our faculty that has countless locks and doors.
I am now going to update to a keyless system and will be doing this soon with them...
Very responsive service; quick to return phone calls and has been out at my location on short note to re-key all the external locks (he matched them as well). Pricing was quality hardware and work. This was about 5 years ago after the purchase of my house.
Terrific company!! Quick to react, really good communication throughout the process, very educated and reasonably priced. They had my business within a few hours of my initial communication!
I have been a Key Shack customer for two decades for my company and my private residences. They are professional, courteous, on time and competitively priced. I recommend them.
I'm a really satisfied customer! :)
I also called and set an appointment with Michelle. She had been comfortable to use. And on the day of, Anthony worked his magic real quick (for a re-key).
We called Michelle late Thursday afternoon because our secret was simply not functioning in the front door lock - from a phone description of our lock, Michelle determined that this was an"older than dirt" lock that was currently only fabricated by two important companies. It came to substitute. Michelle gave us some tips to attempt to resurrect the old lock (between WD-40) to no avail. She was able to slide us into a appointment on Friday afternoon. Joe came out and determined a fresh canister was only needed by our front door, so he fixed the latch and that so it would easily bolt supplied us with as many keys as we had to get our front door and when closed! Michelle was super clear in assisting spot fix it first and then super elastic about getting someone over to examine the lock when everything else failed. Joe was prompt, super informative, fine, clean and efficient and making the repair.
Not having a lock that is or a secret can be super stressful. Michelle & Joe, through their professionalism, went over and beyond to create a fast fix, our problem easy, manageable and finally.
Dealing with lots of companies teaches one that"pros" do not always behave professionally. This is 1 business that does.
I think Anthony is some kind of magic worker. When I phoned, Michelle, also, said the magical words:"Could it be suitable for somebody to come this day?" Anthony showed up on time. I made him to fix not only both locks I had called around but one which I noticed was behaving once he got here, and I moved off to do some work, but it seemed like as soon as I got settled he had been calling up the stairs to mention he had been done! These locks are working so well you can hear them clicking their heels and bowing as they welcome one in.
Highly recommend this company!! Was able to call and receive a day appt to receive our house re-keyed! Got a telephone Anthony was on his way. He was also able to repair our mailbox key as well and was fast. Definitely recommend if you each want any help with locks/keys!
Joe fixed chose and rekeyed the iron fence gates in my house which were bashed against in/broken by previous owners.
I mean to go back to shack.
It wasn't an job, but Joe rolled with it and got done exactly what I desired.
Just can't resist adding one more (unnecessary) rave for Key Shack. They have unfailingly been fantastic, and I've used them over several years whenever I needed lock stuff done. I live in Richmond--no, dammit, Richmond is NOT a war zone, it is a really pleasant place with an undeserved bad reputation plus some crime issues such as any other municipality in the Bay Area including Piedmont--and Key Shack is perfectly pleased to drive from Albany to Richmond to help me out.
They are excellent in every way--reliable, uber-competent, nice. Unless you miles away, use anyone else?
Wow! I went there to replicate my keys. They make it done within one minute. The keys are extremely simple to use. And they used different colours which made it easy to tell them apart.
This place is excellent! Super reasonable price and helpful and quick service!
From the blue couldn't get the crucial in. Managed to open the doorway but upon attempting again and again it would not work. Before we come out try WD-40, they and called Key Shack stated. It worked! What a fabulous business practice. Honesty rather than scamming me for business. I will certainly call the next time I've got an problem.
We predict a panic bar to be fixed by The Key Shack in a exit door of the small business. Michelle called me straight away to examine the details of if they would come, what it might cost, etc.. Great customer services. After the consultation, she called to let me know the job's facts and the price. Not used to such excellent support! They are highly recommended by me. Reward local companies that do the work right!!!
Job Done. Do not go anywhere else.
Yesterday, called them. Booked a visit for this afternoon. Called them again beforehand to explain a few things. For preventing being hammered out by my own toddler got some advice and recommendations. Technician came punctually, was courteous, friendly and professional.
I highly suggest them - really people as an added bonus.
I had 4 locks on two doors re-keyed. I predicted Wednesday afternoon, hoping to get them to come on Thursday. No problem - the tech would be there between noon & 9. I got a call at 9:45 that he had been on the road, and he came around 10. The job was done within half an hour. I had been charged exactly what I had been quoted on the phone, and he fixed a problem with one deadbolt not participating; I had no clue.
They lived up to all of the reviews!! Service, on time. Since they can tell we were in a pinch, they match us in as the call on the exact same day we predicted. The office called back another day to make sure everything worked! Great experience all the way around.
A difficult combination to find these days.
This companies services have been used several times by me and I highly recommend them. The grade of support is excellent, there hours of operation are suitable and their prices are fair.
The young guy is fantastic. The gal is 'all business'. Then there is this middle aged guy that stinks to high heaven of smokes, can not wait to add on to add on's and that not only charged over twice the price for a deadbolt of mfr's suggested price, charged for installing it (at a speed of roughly $200/hr) didn't install the nut plate, just ground from the old one so it's a tiny wire left on the plate that wouldn't endure any attempt to kick in the door, and was just'all business'. I'll be going to some other locksmith from now on, if I'm going to get screwed, it should be at least from someone that doesn't stink and is at least friendly.
Should you need keys need to change locks or whatever or made, these men are the ones to visit - hands down They are fast, professional, friendly and have good prices also. Great job, and excellent customer service!
I have an old door buzzer system which failed. The first company I called said it could nt be fixed and tried to sell an expensive new system to me. Key Shack was called. They fixed it and discovered the cable that was loose. Prompt, courteous and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
