Keys Plus of Placerville

This guy is fantastic! I purchased an xj awhile back and my husband dropped my hatch and door lock key (you have to manually unlock the hatch every time to close the damn thing) so I went in and told him I needed a hey made for the lock but I didnt have a secret to base it off of and he said I needed to pull the lock out of the doorway and I said okay (growing up my father had a wrecking yard so tearing apart a doorway and doing this type of thing wasn't new for me) I began speaking to my husband around tearing apart my driver door and the guy at the store (owner?) Made a point I said I aut to pull on the passenger and never would have thought about would create the crucial that is best fitting and lock because it would have the wear! Duh! I tore it and he got it done in. He made me 3 copies along with a Few ignition keys just Incase

Great support. Good pricing. I would recommend Keys Plus to everybody.

Over priced to start. Degrading and unwelcoming customer services. Overall poor encounter. Not worth the money or time. Walk in to the employees and their drop do not seem to be employees. No social graces, only rude and condescending. They'll gouge your pocket-book. Rude employees, slow service. Try Home Depot until you waste your time

Alright, so I Have been Heading to Keys Plus for Several Years! Why? Since they are the ones that I can depend on getting Keys that really do the job! Numerous lock/key issues have been solved by them . So, lately my company encountered a problem and my business partner believed she contacted Keys Plus. Things did not turn out too well with the locksmith and I will leave it at that. The next thing I know, saves and Ernie happens to pop in my shop Can not say enough about how thankful I am. Support that is honest, notch. Forget the rest-call the best!

This place is far too pricey, 250% markup on one key? Should have gone down the road. I tried to shop local but this place is a rip off, capitalism at its best,(or worst).

The ideal spot to acquire locks, keys or copies. We've been coming here for years. The job is top notch and the folks are super fine, knowledgeable and fair. They stand by their own job, do things and all with a grin. Once we we on the other side of the parking lot and our truck wouldnt begin. One of the guys from Keys Plus gave our battery life a jump and came over - I don't know how he even knew we needed assistance, but he was with his wires and we were on our way within minutes. These guys are the neighbors that you wish you lived next door to- I can not say enough good about them.

I just found a diamond in the ruff!! I had to have a few duplicate keys cut, and went into"Keys Plus", however this was no simple task!! I had several keys created for my old pickup (1947 Ford), that took Pete (the proprietor ) over an hour. Tenacity & grit. My truck's battery died and obtained a jump (twice) from Shawn, Pete's helper. Pete gave me a fantastic cost, and did great work, I will return to the kiosk for all my future key work... Thanks for great support with a fantastic cost!!! Highly recommend...

This place is really a f-ing joke! They did not match my application, and so I purchased a new set and I bought a set of door locks and they absolutely refused to refund my first purchase or helped out to the purchase price of the group. These locks came with a set of keys. They were not coded to an present key and he said he can not re sell them which it complete BS! I suggest you do not conduct business and find another locksmith at the Placerville area that actually cares about their customers!!
I won't ever do business together again and again will anybody I know, I'll guarantee that!!

I have used this place for any copies of keys we've needed. About a month ago I was locked my baby at my car running and mercifully the air conditioner and accidentally at Raleys. I ran over to the place and was hectic while somebody stood watch over my baby. The owner grabbed his equipment and locked up the place. He'd my baby out of the car although it seemed like an eternity. I did not care if somebody had to break my window to get me but am so thankful he was around to help me out! I would suggest everyone and anyone I know for the place.

Keys Plus has been in business for decades to some professional, and talented crew. Why such a negative review could be left by RJ, I can't explain. I assume that he was having a bad moment. I had a lock that has been fitting poorly is installed by Keys Plus. It was essential to get it right as this was the only part available. By the time he was done, reassemble and he had to redrill the mechanism. The whole time the man (one of the owners) was persistent as well as friendly. Five stars!
