Our door digital Schlage lock was installed by mark ; he was knowledgeable, friendly and also a perfectionist. He came on time and the company provided him with brass back plates to match the colour of the lock I delivered a picture of beforehand to them and ordered. This was accomplished in a very short time from my call. I would certainly recommend these people; they may not be the cheapest (versus do it ) but Mark's expertise and work ethic made it worthwhile.

Maybe the 5th time will be the charm.
Maybe it's only me, or maybe it's merely my projects, but I have been in this facility on 4 different occasions with 4 totally different key related issues and the response has always been the same,"We do not do those ."

Suburban Lock is a good excellent company, reasonably priced and flexible. Responsive and thorough.
If he had been there to see the job, tony the sales contact fixed a stubborn entry latch with WD40. (that latch not part ) Clint the service tech was instrumental in making certain that our needs were fulfilled with me regarding insuring we got the results we 38, by checking the work order. He did more than read his work order and perform the work. The day saved.

Careful-will not give yields, this is contrary to company policy. Bad lock then they said made key was awful. Brought in they & first key even tried to say that was the secret. Then said if we purchased a new one the same would be performed by it - even though the new one that they showed us functioned fine in contrast to the one. This place is like a bad automobile dealership

Great company to work with. Moved into a new residence with old-school Baldwin locks. They came out and re-keyed both doors and cut at off 6 keys on the place for a very reasonable price.
Highly recommend!

Poor service here - that the client is always wrong is their motto. They go to fanciful manager and come back with explanations on why they cannot accept return within warranty period.

WILL S's Critique IS MY PROBLEM. These individuals are too busy, and don't care enough to resolve an issue. Instead they look at you like you're stupid and say welp sorry can't do it. When asking what is the policy behind it oh they just don't. Oh...? Really? You'just don't'? What a load of crap. If this was some ghetto these people having business could be seen by me. Terrible place. Old smelly. Like th people degraded and crusty.
YET THEY COULDNT RESOLVE MY PROBLEM. YET THEY DID FOR WILL S. SHAME ON THIS COMPANY.

Keys, Fantastic customer service work time cut. Never again will I EVER go anywhere else for my needs. Less then hardware shops charge and the keys work.

No luck. When I asked the exact same question As soon as I came, they told me no. Not that they were sorry or that they could attempt they'd given information that was wrong to me. I wish they'd been truthful.
Be cautious that Suburban Door and Assess Lock can help. I phoned and gave all the details that I wanted. I wanted to be certain that they could do the job before I drove out of Chicago.

That I called in and spoke on the phone with Bill, before Tony came out for the fix everything was handled in a professional way that made me feel that I was a client.
Tony called me first thing in the morning so that we would not be waiting to set up a time and called to let me know he was running. He was knowledgeable and capable while doing the fix and made sure everything was in order before he left. He also promised me that the service was warrantied and if we needed anything not to wait to call.
I phoned Lock Service Suburban Door Check & on a Thursday of the week to get someone to fix my door latch. They were able to send someone out on Saturday.
I do not like having people out to the home to repair things but it was a pleasure working with Lock Service & Suburban Door Check. I paid $125 for the support telephone including components and labor. It seemed like a fair price.
I would not hesitate to call Lock Service Suburban Door Check & again.

Friendly over the phone, friendly support when re-keying my locks, only great service and very inexpensive. I will be using these guys for some of my prospective lock/door needs. I do have to give a"thank you" into the Home Depot guy in Darien who advised me to get a re-key done rather than installing new locks... then proposed Suburban to mepersonally. So thanks!

We had some new locks. We got a call at our appointment period that our installer ran late. If it would be OK to reschedule for an hour or 2 they asked. We said yes. Our installer, dave, was efficient and polite. Their costs may be a tad high 4 stars instead of 5. We had gone to some other locksmith and gotten a quote and put an order. But they never showed up so we cancelled the order and went into Suburban.

Just got new locks for keys and my home created. Everything was quick and easy and functioned....don'Can you just hate bringing home a just made key only to find it doesn't work? Do not have that problem here!

Suburban re-keyed my house within 25 decades ago (recommended by a neighbor) and I have used them for replacement keys ever since. Used them for all kinds of door and lock assess work as well for several decades in my workplace. I called for a problem with a lock in home and they gave me a proposal before paying for a service call, to test in my own. It worked fine. I hope and will continue to use Suburban Lock.

I have been dealing with these folks for quite a few years, normally, for locks that are unusual and/or key situations, or when I can't get a replica of a key made. We just bought a brand new used car, and with our luck, the ignition key had a processor (actually it is a resistor) that just the dealer or a locksmith includes blanks for. I went to several hardware shops, and was referred to Suburban Lock. I was surprised when the technology made me a key with the blank with no processor, simply to see whether it'd do the job. Alas, it didn't, so the tech told me that"it would get expensive" if I did in fact want the ignition key. Turns out it was 19 for replicate and the chipped sterile, so I had him make two keys, along with the keys while I was there. On the keys cut, and went out into the parking lot with me and tried each key, making certain they worked and fit. I understand it would have cost me more if I had this done at the dealer, so I had them make the copies of the door and chipped keys and took the bet. As they came through when I needed them, I will return to the store for the provider. I could not see having a car as I've always taken the problem to make at least , two spare sets of keys to our vehicle, this moment, you will never know what might happen.
