I never got to around to purchasing wd40 (a few bucks) to attempt to fix the lock and key myself. It was difficult to unlock lock. I panicked. For a lot of us, home is candy home; a place to look for refuge; a place where we keep our possessions, not and prized.
I called, was talking loudly and a lot to attempt and explain what happened not and in my words locksmith-speak trusting I was clear. I even asked"are you really sure that you can unlock my door with no functioning key?" The professional was listened, calm and respectful to me speak. He reassured me he can unlock my door.
He showed up 15 minutes later. When I demonstrated how to unlock my door course, it was unlocked. However, I requested he make certain nothing was wrong with the installation and no issues would occur. He assured me that the lock is fine. His name is Ritchie.

Good locksmith that is tucked away on 71st Ave. If you're familiar with the area you may have seen a walkway/tunnel that cuts into an opening with a few company back there. The tunnel is a little bit.
Easy in and out. Gave them the key that I wanted a copy of and that I was out of there in under 10 minutes. Prices were not bad either. Definitely would us them to cut keys.

I would like to thank yelp along with our fellow yelpers. You don't have any clue just how much I appreciate this community. I appreciate the inspection and opinions of everyone and it will help me understand the company a bit better. I walked with the intention of looking for a locksmith. I was quoted by them 95 and my knob was broken and came to my apt. I had to receive my knob replaced and Robert was so nice resolve any issue and to test on the top lock. Overall. If I have troubles I'll be coming back. Thanks!!

I arrived here which I lost the key to. I asked him. I left the box and had some errands to run in the region. I arrived back over a half hour and was ready to get the lockbox opens. Lo' and behold, the asshole had opened it and stole the money inside (the better part of a $1000!!) He swore up and down which the box was empty. To this day he refuses to give me my money that he continues to lie to my face and stole.

I told him the place and he said I don't go there. Not that it's far... he just does not go there. Found this interesting. A lady stranded and you hang up.

Desired a they were fast and to make a replica of my apartment keys in a hurry and reasonably priced! Made for a pleasant experience! If anything else related is needed will be back!

I'd Abco install my lock in my previous apartment years ago and they're very fair, amazing, neat and quick. So I chose to have them install the lock in my current apartment earlier this year, no matter how the young man that they shipped was only showing me very expensive locks as much as I told him I was looking to spend no more than $125 on a lock. The whole service ended up costing me. . !

Al, the owner, also Robert, his locksmith, promptly & professionally responded to my home repair demand. Been doing business with ABCO for over 20yrs, and will continue to recommend it!

Called ABCO last night at 7pm to determine if a person could come over the next morning at 9am to alter my deadbolt lock that was busted on backdoor. Man who replied appeared incoherent and drunk. Took my address. Said he'd be here now between 9am and 10am. Never revealed. Never called.
Do not bother with ABCO.
I called Round The Clock Lock and they had been here in 20mins and finished job. Friendly and Quick service.

Horrible support. Where I have needed to buy a lock or get a cylinder the preceding encounters I have had with this store have been fantastic.
On the afternoon of installment, we felt by dropping hardware and tools on our prewar floors that he had no respect for our house. The job was ok on two doors but there is one that is a bit loose.
However, my most recent experience, which consisted of a consultation and installation of 3 locks has left me with a bad taste in my mouth. The consultation went perfectly fine. I believed that Omar provided variables and recommendations that made sense for us.
The amount wasn't cheap, coming only a tad under $1k.
At that rate, I expected the job to be near perfection and also for my house to be treated so poorly. In the end, it is my house which we're protecting. The locks are fine but how tools have been strewn left a bad taste in my mouth. Recommended for fundamental security requirements but not for servicing at your house.

These guys are fantastic. They answered all my questions, gave us many options and so were very accommodating.
They did a fantastic job and all we're happy customers. I would hire guys again in a heart beat.

Very responsive and very fast support with quality of work. While I was in work in the morning, they fixed my door framework! I was so pleased to come back home and find that my door frame appears like new! Their super work ethic is evidence of their commitment and ethics in providing support and performing their job.
These men are the ideal firm to call, if you'd like a professional to fix your door. (And talk with Omar because he was my point of touch and he is amazing!)
So I broke my door framework and found these men on the internet. Super quick answer and most importantly in what they're doing very good. They gave me a time estimate and price quote, came to my place to inspect the damage, and scheduled a trip to do the repair.

He substituted a cylender and 3 keys in 15 mins in that case and drilled.
I use them , as I paid cash, though, I'd appraciate a receipt and would recommend that the company.
I didn't mention I had to cover the additional and the extra key was at the apt.
Overall for a Sunday Morning Emegency and the problem was resolved quickly for $300.00
He did try to start the bottom lock without drilling that did not work"medeco lock"
I found the door nob to be cluttered whatever could crawl in the door-nob considering I'd my sister laying around the floor in pain and as a plate was not put back, I let it go.
Before reaching me, my sister had dropped and pulled her back and couldn't move and had been on the floor for 7 hours.
Her key was at the apt and that I did not have my spare, I phoned today on a Sunday at 7:00 am and was greeted warmly and advised a locksmith could be delivered to me in 15 mins, I showed up at my sisters and sure enough the Locksmith had been their within 15 mins.

Perhaps I should have called around for estimates.
Speedy service, showed up to get a crisis in 20 minutes on a Sunday afternoon lock would not lock out of inside/outside. Since moved in 6 years ago, first time replaced.
Preferred money was ok with a check, made payable to'cash.' I didn't get a receipt.
Charged me $165 to replace the lockgave a tip that was $25.

*****In response to your remark; our lock was not replaced. It was simply opened and then the man left. There was no lock put on our door.
The ceremony was quick. We got locked out of our flat and they could come within 25 minutes but charged 260 to open the door, looks like quite a bit.

The man (Omar I think was his name) working there at the time was really beneficial. Additionally, the cost to make the copy was only $12.50 - Other locksmiths had lent me in the $20-$30 range. While awaiting my key I detected that the mix master locks being marketed for only $7. The same ones that I paid $10 in high school over a decade ago! So I picked up one of these too.
I had to make a replica of a medeco key. I had called locksmiths who affirmed over the telephone they could make the copy to find out they couldn't when I moved there in person.
I decided to trek out to Forest Hills after exhausting all my options nearby.

I really don't know of any costs for the same service to compare , but I think it was well worthwhile.
They sent a tech inside the hour to my construction, despite the weather. He was able to get me within my house with minimal damage and repairing it. He introduced alternatives for replacing another deadbolt in my door's cylinder, and also was very professional, knowledgable.
It was the evening of this"polar vortex" snow storm and low and behold, I managed to lock myself out of my flat because of a busted lock. Luckily, ABCO was as opposed to another two competing businesses I tried phoning.

They were professional and cordial showed up on time, gave me a loony reasonable estimate, replaced my broken lock, left me a reception WITH a warranty for the lock, and were on their way in under half an hour. SPECTACULAR experience.

Nice people. Speedy service, and decent rates. I moved in to make copies made and they had no trouble with even the"limited" Mul t lock keys

24/7 is opened by this Plc.
I purchased a voucher on Yelp ($100 for the value of $150) sufficient to cover two regular tanks not Medco locks and two sets of keys. Price is pretty steep in my opinion.
4 stars for the service. Omar was instant and helpful. He explained the options.
