I have read some bad reviews about PAL and need to surmise this is about a different company with a similar title or log. These guys were amazing and I would defiantly recommend.
I reached out for cutting on some keys to my Honda. From very first contact I discovered Michael Dungy the owner to be responsive and careful. He has been flexible with scheduling and answered my questions. The Locksmith Kacey arrived in a Dark Transit Van with the Pop-A-Lock emblem. Being inquisitive, I detected the procedure. Kacey was quite educated and eager to describe what he had been doing. His van was well organized and outfitted with contemporary key cutting equipment. Before cutting the new keys (fobs) he made a test essential to make sure my locks would accept what his machine trimming. He programmed the new important fobs to operate with the vehicle. The whole procedure took 40 minutes. Very impressed!
Great follow along with educated staff!
I'd give NO stars if I could!! No shade but an Indian lady quoted me $65 on the phone. When I inquired if I could sit in his front seat BC IT WAS RAINING!!, A guy got there, huffed and puffed I stood in the rain, he gave me attitude THANK YOU COME AGAIN!! Then stalked, waiting in the parking lot in the restaurant for me for like 20 mins and also called my phone back to back like 12 times, I bullshit you not. DONT USE POP A LOCK !!!
I call the service three times to get an estimate. Once I asked because of his managers the guy Mark or Mike continued to hang up on me. So an email estimate to get to my insurance company so they can cover my automobile keys I wanted. Terrible service
I would, if I could give a ZERO star rating! Guy on the phone told me it'd be a $20 call charge for the individual to come out once they knew what machine they'd have to use and base charge would come and allow me to know the cost. First thing, she told me that they charged me $210 and she had been 10 minutes away but was really 30 minutes away from me. They put me on hold and then I tried to call after and ask about my fees and never came back to your telephone. This is a ripoff - please do not use this service. You'd be better off paying for this repair and breaking up your window should you lock yourself.
Time door it late at night freezing also locked on me so that I found this company on google. This company end up needing to paid $155 and literally unlocked it 5 minute? RIP OFF!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Whatever you do, don't tell them that you're in a hurry to make your flight in the airport cause. Ridiculously priced for the time and effort.
It took 30 minutes to start our car and price $135! He said he'd be there in 10 minutes, however he took over 30, which is still relatively quick, I understand. Just give me an time quote, please! They could not give me a cost quote on the phone because he needed to"check the best approach to open it ."
Assessing the car door support. Way too pricey for a 1 minute job. For $155. Way too costly. I Don't recommend this service
I locked my keys and my phone in my car. I used the telephone to call of my apartment complex. I put in the telephone. They said 25 minutes. No problem, great.
Be honest up front, and do not simply say"That girl is fresh," when I asked you false information was relayed to me personally. You know, maybe you don't, but being trapped in Atlanta without a telephone and locked out of your car in June is miserable, flirty, frightening and hot for a woman.
I understand that there is a danger to somebody not having their telephone, BUT why do you tell me that in the first location? Also, this has to happen all the time. They gave me no other alternatives, besides no. It wasn't like I had been on the side of the road. I had been in a people MARTA deck to the first floor. Can't be hard to find.
So instead of telling me that this upfront at 4:00pm in Atlanta, I had to call somebody on a Friday at 5:15 pm in Atlanta and had to wait for an additional 3 hours to get assist.
I call back at about one hour. This lady told me nobody is coming. JEEZ! I asked why not. She said it was because I did not have a telephone to call back on.
A week ago, I called to get a Pop-A-Lock. I knew people who worked for them in different cities, so I trusted the brand. Unfortunately I had a horrible experience. Perhaps it is because I live in Atlanta, and companies do not have to be"fine" to anyone because there are so many residents.
The dispatcher told me three times his"guy" would phone me ten minutes. The fourth timeI had been put on an hold. While on hold, I took yet another call from a different locksmith which lasted 30 minutes, when I glanced at my screen the original locksmith (this one) still had me on hold.
Not recommended in any way.
This is neither a professional company nor you to be reliable.
Unresponsive. I was stranded with no smartkey, was known to pop a lock from another locksmith. Called # and was told someone would call me back. Almost 24 hrs ago. No call yet. I solved my problem without their help, thank goodness.
I had my first (but hopefully last) encounter with Pop-A-Lock now and I had a terrific experience. I have a keyless entry/push to start car so there was no hope in finding it, and I dropped it in Atlanta. I phoned around to either get no response or be told that they weren't able to assist me. Because I didn't want to tow my car and cover all those amount they 26, I was frustrated beyond belief. I did one last google search and came across Pop-A-Lock and got a response. The girl was helpful and very pleasant and I didn't feel like I was inconveniencing her by calling. She assured me that their locksmith could work in my vehicle. She told me I would get a call from the locksmith to get pricing along with an appointment time. The locksmith known as me, maybe 30 mins later? It gave me a price was inside the hour, and explained the following morning, he would come out. This is my only gripe that I couldn't occur that night but after speaking with him and fulfilling with my locksmith, I could understand due to being a family person and needing to get the codes for my automobile. Kasey came out before our scheduled time and was very nice and friendly. He explained the procedure to me and gave me suggestions about the best way best to avoid being scammed by locksmiths. He was very professional, arrived in a company van and had on a company uniform (that was important for me because it showed me that Pop-a-lock is a valid business). He ended up staying for over an hour since there was a difficulty getting the code for my vehicle but it was. It just took about 10-15 minutes After the procedure was begun by him. I was grateful for him during this moment for his frankness, his help, and company. He made a key for someone at the home they were quick and happy that he managed to make a key immediately, too and I was. I'll certainly recommend this company!
Waited for more than an hour as soon as they say to me personally it'd be 45 minutes. Then the man says he's led to a different call and calls, but when I still wanted him he could swing and soda my lock after. Are you kidding me? No.
I obtained in and had to split a window pane that is small.
Locked myself out of my house each night, they came quickly and answered promptly.
They didn't bill me even though he had been here for an hour.
Regrettably the doors were impossible otherwise get in or to pick, but he tried!
He made to work clearly identified himself arrived on time, and gave me a primer on the best way best to safeguard my place. He explained how the string of recent break-ins were going into what was possible and that which was impossible to prevent, in addition to occurring.
This review is more about him than it's about Pop-A-Lock, however I'll give them credit for living up to their claims of getting locksmiths accessible who stick to their quote.
He's comprehensive honest, and a genuine professional.
It came to Pop-A-Lock and Downs. I got quotes from both, and I didn't pursue the customary quote, since I had been in a rush.
Walt Chatham is a guy that is fantastic - he's the certified locksmith that Pop-A-Lock delivered to put in bolts on my place.
Following the dispatcher obtained my callback advice, Walt called me back over seven minutes, and he gave me a me an breakdown.
He worked on all doors adhered with his quote, answered all questions clearly, and efficiently, in addition to clearly telling me had I chosen to go that path, certain upgrades would cost.
These people are totally professional and exceptionally accommodating. If another locksmith's support is ever required by me, I will use Pop-A-Lock. Thank you for saving daily!
So it was suggested after another frantic telephone call my emergency case was put at the top of the call listing and I call Pop-A-Lock to come pick the lock. 30 mins after Ken (I believe that is his name) arrived and within seconds had the door of their rental car available.
Its always a wonderful luxury to acquire a rental car when you have major car services completed, but its a bit nerve racking as soon as the child you care for locks himself inside stated rental car with the keys inside... and will not unlock the doors.
This is not a drill!
I called the agency to acquire the vehicle's OnStar advice, but has been told OnStar service is not preserved on this firm's cars. Really? Seriously? *sigh* What now?
NO, REALLY!
Worthless! We called a lady along with them said they had a tech ready and promised he would arrive within 50 minutes. We called them back after waiting an hour and the other lady said they had no available technicians and they could not be here for another hour or more. She said they should have called us but just did not. How Rude. A complete waste of time and effort .
I called Pop-A-Lock in 3pm to schedule a locksmith to come a deadbolt that was re-key at my home. The dispatcher who answered told me that the locksmith could call me back. Approximately 30 minutes later, the locksmith said he could be at 6pm in my house and finally called.
Attempt Downs if you need a locksmith. They were very professional and responsive.
The dispatcher is called by me and they tell me he is about the way, but they will ask him to telephone me anyways. Still no locksmith 11:30 pm and no telephone calls.
He will try to be there about 7:30, although he calls and tells me he is running late. I call, leave a few messages... nothing.
Great service. I got locked out of my car and over 40 minutes Heather showed up. The car started at 30 seconds and that I paid 54 bucks. She was educated and diligent. Along with the cost, reasonable even though you feel stupid.
The locksmith had everything needed to finish the job and was professional. The job was done and I'd use the provider .
