I would urge any contractor or house owner to make East Dedham Builder Supply your first stop for virtually any timber or key related jobs.
This is a follow up inspection. I am still a huge fan of East Dedham Lumber. The place is still managed by George Huntoon along with his two sons, Chris and Ryan. There's friendliness and warmth here that you are not going to find in other places. In a time when big box stores seem to be taking over, a family business that cares about the connection with the consumers and goes the extra mile is a rarity.

Thank you for the aid and rescue the day! By clipping on the key for me! I am really bad at writing reviews, but I am pleased with the service. I would not be able to start the car 94 Benz without the key. . I purchased a blank from eBay and also the locksmith cut me it!

We paid $50 for 2 50 lb bags of ice and snow melt, vs $17 apiece at Home Depot. But what service! They carried it out to the car and into the trunk to us. Not going to find that type of support at HD!
It was Valentine's Day weekend and also winter storm Neptune coming, winter weary though we were from the wealth of inches of the white things which had barged its way in and refused to leave despite having an overly lengthy trip of 2 weeks and counting, we needed to prepare. But so did the remainder of New England!
Home Depot was out of ice melt. As was Lowes. I called East Dedham Builders Supply and found out that they had been expecting a delivery though they normally close at noon on Saturdays. But then they extended their hours to 1pm today.

So I searched for a regional manufacturer that was key, and discovered that this lil gem 5 mins in the future.
I paid and went back home to try the keys out. They functioned and costs only about the same since the stores that were larger charged. I will come here for my key needs, and send my husband for some tools if he needs any.
I watched it buzzing with a great deal of partners and customers, and left the drive to the store. I was greeted with one of these, and I inquired if they can make 3 copies of my key.
We needed a couple of copies created for our new location, after going to Dedham. You would think"oh Lowe's or Home Depot can do" but neither place had the right gear to generate a suitable copy of the major.
He without any hesitation obtained the key took a look in it, and made my 3 keys in less than 5 mins. Their gear looked than that which Home Depot or Lowe's had more sophisticated.

You speak directly with a real person straight away, when you phone them. No silly telephone menus and waiting to get attached to the perfect department. You can't top them. I strongly recommend them to anyone doing a home job in Dedham or nearby.
East Dedham Builders supply is my first choice once I have a job. They are helpful. They sent it all to my home at no extra price for me and took the time to advise me on what timber are the best to select for your swingset I had been building.

Very informative and trustworthy. Fully explained to me getting an automobile key copied is pricey, and tried a couple of different methods to get me the best deal possible. Also friendly and very efficient. (Side note: As someone who's worked in advertising, the free key chain they supply isn't your average swag. It is high quality and branded. Definitely worth it)

As a woman who admittedly doesn't know the first thing about timber, I am super thankful for the knowledgeable, patient, and accommodating workers at East Dedham Builders Supply. I'd enrolled in my first class and was somewhat overwhelmed by knowing precisely what I had to build an adirondack chair. EDBS was undoubtedly the best selling and had the most aggressive prices -- definitely As soon as I called timber yards to compare prices for! My seat turned out beautifully and I'll definitely return if I decide to produce a matching chair, or add a deck or another reason I'd require timber.

They are very helpful and knowlegeable (unlike many big box stores)! They have all tools, the timber and hardware which I want, such as PVC boards. They are a family operation and really care about the client. You will be glad that you went here!
