A locksmith in another place said that it was impossible to make a copy of it and offered to have my own lock re-keyed or replaced and looked in my broken/twisted key.
I was saved by him.
The locksmith in this place got me and managed to earn a replica of my key that is broken. I think this guy has a little bit of magical ability. He was very quick, helpful and polite. He did not even charge extra!

I predicted in my realtor's recommendation and recently moved to Glenview. Once he did, he told me I didn't have, although there was some initial confusion with when the locksmith would arrive. I then put each key in every lock and showed him which I did (careless?) . Hours later he says he's done and fees over $200 (pricey?) . . It took two more visits to get it fixed, and the guy became rude and abusive and stated I had been blessed that he returned along with my deal was at fault (offensive?) .

I have been up into the big box hardware stores several occasions trying to get keys to work, and there was some issue. AAA looked in the key they straight away knew exactly what the difficulty was and left. They were professional, effective, and reasonably priced.

Needed an extra key. I arrived 5 minutes before final one man was inside and the door was secured.
I knocked on the door but all I got was a hand gesture.

I was in there yesterday obtaining a key cut. I will not be going back, not because of the support but because two employees talking"raising alarm bells/living in America and dressing such as a terrorist/wearing bed sheets and towels in public". Made me really uncomfortable.

These men are and they know their stuff. I've used them for large projects and small!

Called this outfit down the road from my home June,2016 from convenience. They claim they have been in business for 46 years difficult to think! Guy took the entry door lock and fixed a spring he explained. $120 chge okay for the time . Problem solved... NOT really .Tried entering the other day and key didn't turn the lock engage it. Called Fri and left a telephone back number. No telephone Mon so called again and the woman said she would look up the service number and call me back. She explained that the original tech would call me but he at the time said we'd need and did. I called around obtained Chgo locksmiths, also known as Ashland lock determined by Chgo locksmiths that just set up a new cylinder in 20 minutes($45) so why didn't the AAA guy do this 1st. Frankly I didn't need the 1st tech to call me I wanted someone else. .

Horrible service - direct from the owners. When the owners treat their customers how will a client be treated by any AAA worker correctly? Never been abandoned by an organization - especially when dealing with the owners. Owners supplied no resolution other than that I should"try down the road". Not certain if indifferent or lazy however was a problem - their fault - but the sum of their resolution was to render a voice mail saying to me - that I had to resolve the issue. HORRIBLE, AWFUL, TERRIBLE, DREADFUL, APPALLING, HORRIFIC, HORRENDOUS, ATROCIOUS, ABOMINABLE, DEPLORABLE, EGREGIOUS, ABHORRENT, UNSPEAKABLE, ETC..

Called to see if we can get a person to come out to assist us with a few locks. I explained the situation a few times, but the dispatcher couldn't get it. I asked if we could just set up for a service call to have someone come out to our place of business along with the girl I was speaking to said a tech would need to phone us to determine precisely what we needed before coming out (why? Just send someone, we know there will be a fee, simply send somebody ). No one called. We went elsewhere for our small business.

They did their job, economically and quickly. No frills but they get the job done. Call em' and they get er' done!

We predicted to get our locks. Anthony from Key and AAA Lock was quite responsive and did an excellent job. Don't understand why there were so many negative reviews.

Stopped by today for something. Handled economically and I was in and out in just a couple of minutes!

You know, occasionally, when you walk in a spot at 4:57 (which closes at 5) desperate to get the 1 thing you didn't have time to get at work, you do not expect to come in for a laugh.
AAA has some folks that are when I brought in some keys to be done at the last minute, real characters, who brought some mild humor. I have to give them props for that.l
Here? I did.

Awful. The woman who answered the phone needs to have graduated from the"Soup Nazi School of Client Service." The tech needs to still be a student, be cause he was as awful, but repeatedly told me he was and he did not have a great deal of time. It was a straight rekeying of 3 locks on a house. I understand a rekeying doesn't include fix, but in just two days among the locks was inoperable. He must have told me and let me decide if I had been prepared to pay more to get it mended, although I'm pretty sure the condition was pre existing. Another lock was full I couldn't make use of the latch. Again, the gunk was not caused by him, without lubricating it, but how can a locksmith rekey a lock? Seriously, my 5 year-old daughter knows how to utilize WD-40 on a lock. To top it off, when I was phoned by him he said I could call the office or give him my credit card number. Of course once I told him I would give him the info he sighed more dramatically compared to my 5 year-old.
I don't understand how this place remains in business.

When called, woman was very impolite. Would recommend Rite Lock in Skokie or even Johnson Locks in Evanston instead. They are professional.

Terrible customer service, and that I didn't even get past the phone call. Called in two (once to assess availability, the second to generate a scheduled appointment). The two times, ended up talking to two different quite rude women..sarcasm and attitude galore. Ended up with a locksmith.

Great customer service and a job well done! Just had old locks feel safer and replaced in our house! Thank you AAA Lock And Key! We will be back in the future.

For what seems like forever, they have been in Glenview. I have never dealt with the operator but the cashier has helped me several times altering locks, making keys, etc.. After a couple of times in a large box chain, get a key made with the key kind that was proper and I chose to spend the additional 25 cents.

This is the first time that I have yelped, as I have not had service enough until now. Absolutely agree with previous reviews that was totally uninviting and rude. It was certainly noticeable. There was A locksmith shipped out within hours today, which was fine, however he was ridiculously awful. He looked in the lock for two minutes, took a picture of it with his telephone, and explained it would be about $650 for a new lock. I purchased the one at Lowes. It would not lock and that I thought he would actually mess with it to find out what was wrong. He said I needed a whole new lock and really only touched it briefly after. It was completely embarrassing, and at one stage I thought I had been punkd. He left 5 minutes. I got it unstuck myself and messed with it after he left. Lock did not have to be replaced.

Mean owner. Said they would be there at 9 AM in 10 I phoned and lady said it'd be 15-30 mins. I called again and asked to speak to owner. He chased me and advised me to call someone else. SO I DID
