SCAM.
This firm, which operates nationwide is a complete bait and switch scam. They quoted me $30 on the phone (after I doubled checked that are the price...) to unlock my car, told me they'd be with me in 20 minutes - they came an hour later in an unmarked vehicle. They told me it would actually cost me $200, for no reason other than that's how much they charge and they must have misquoted me on the phone. I said I would not pay that cost, then they proceeded to frighten me in person and on the phone, calling me nonstop.
DO NOT USE!

BEWARE!! DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!!!! This company operates nationwide, I utilized them in Long Beach, ca to change an easy lock cylinder on my ship entry door and they charged me $574.00. Never applied the reduction that was 30% that was websites and a manager told me that they don't give credit when I phoned to explore the bill before writing my review, I could not dispute my credit card bill and they hung me up. They are quite unprofessional, excessive in their own pricing and will tear you PLEASE CALL ANOTHER COMPANY, save your money & aggravation!!
Very disappointed

Worst service Had out locksmith to two locks that are re-key. He wanted more than $400 with this service. Told that we would not cover more than $150 and him entirely NO. He said $ 150 was OK and also called his supervisor. He actually charged $180, saying that $30 was for sales tax. That's 20% taxation!!! Illegal?? I think so.
Never, never call this company.

Deserves 0 stars. Charge of 212.55 to unlock my front door? Took all of 3 minutes to allow him to unlock it. When I was told about the telephone it'd cost 55 bucks. The locksmith was a total creep and said he would pay money if me, or someone I knew and he would marry so he would get his papers. I will be calling BBB!!

0 stars! Wish before calling but I had my kid with me and had been in a hurry, I'd have looked. Took 45 min for these to arrive then wanted to charge me $179 for a door lock. I know these locks would be to conquer and pick locks. I got down to $99 but I was furious! For scamming me I wanted to punch his teeth out! If I didn't have my crying 2 year old with me I'd have advised him to go F*** himself.
$ 29 was explained by him. . .how do the level of support is $179!?!?! and you move from $29

Scam! Total fraud. Barely spoke English. Had a door and a deadlock bolt handle lock. Refused pick and to try the door lock handle! Grabbed his drill and destroyed both locks. $120. I don't believe this technician knew anything about how to pick a lock like I asked him a few times to do this but acted like he didn't understand exactly what I said. His aim was to destroy both locks so he can sell me two more on top of the absurd"drilling" charges! Shameful and predatory company.

Got ripped them off. They have same site for different cities. . After the lock popped in 20 seconds guy wanted 129. . Gave me a special deal of 100 if I paid cash.... They had been the very first link on Google when I searched locksmith at long Beach CA... tried calling their customer service line, girl yelled at me saying it is my problem that I paid it.... SCAM nothing else to it

I had been charged $180 and a $20 service fee. I know I had been ripped off. The comprehensive service required just 7 minutes. So I should have been in a position to send away the tech I wasn't in a rush. It would have been cheaper for me to take a cab to back to my car and where my key was. Karma will get you men. It's a complete shame.

*the number I called was a 773 Chicago but is same website/company
Do not get tricked by unethical company and advertising, call everywhere!!
Advertises prices beginning at $29 told me its $165. I Didn't contend with him since I needed to invest in but $29 is in the ballpark of $165. . .plus he included that a service fee that he didn't mention in any way. After he handed me the receipt and left I saw the service fee was added to my receipt.

I called King's Locksmith dependent on the rate I had been given on the website to unlock my car door. $39. When he finally arrived (the tech ), he proceeded to unlock my car, AND THEN quoted me the price of $169.00 for unlocking my car! He said the website is incorrect when I questioned him. Apparently!! He said because I was in downtown Chicago, was the best he could do.

The site says they will unlock a car for $29, they said someone would come out in 20 minutes, it took 50 minutes and two phone calls. When the man came he said it'd be a hard job and it would be 90. We balked and talked him down - that he utilized two balloons and a change adhere to unlock the vehicle in 10 minutes - hard project my A$$. It seemed like an car thief was only hired by us. We have ripped off, phone anyone but these men.

Because the website says $29 for residential lockouts I called this company and I thought, wow this is great! They quoted me a quote when I spoke on the phone to someone. Hence that the man proceeds to inform me that it is going to cost me $159!! and shows up And if he can not get in he might have to drill the locks, then ruining the entire door knob. I phoned my husband who explained just tell them to overlook it but as soon as I hung up and was about to tell the man, he opened the door! I paid him called to the enterprise to talk to a manager but the manager was"from town." I never got a call . This is business. It makes me live in a home so they can just up the price and feel as the firm took advantage of me because I am a girl. It's ridiculous! My advice is not to use this company!!

TOTAL SCAM!!! Keep them away from the doors that are locked. Advertise on reality and line prices are different and more than cost. I called them and was locked out of my apt today, they sent a man over who gave me different rates for three efforts to open my door. First attempt is the one that he used plates and obviously because it's cheapest cost, he intentionally failed to start. Then he attempted the 175, but he did. I stopped him and requested him to depart soon enough before he wanted to destroy the door with a drilling method ($250). He charged me and that I was locked out of my apt. Called the scam King Locksmith to report back, they put me on hold and hung up. Feel dumb myself now. The Eric man which other reviewers have five stars.

It was 10:30pm and I had been locked out of my apartment (not the building). I called one and this locksmith of their reps told me they are sending someone out and they'll arrive shortly. I called them back and waited an hour. I spoke to another rep that informed me they are going to phone my technician to observe when they'll arrive. I had been on hold for another 10 minutes. Then a different individual picked up. I had to provide my advice all around. Figuring out that no tech was coming out to my apartment. It just so happened that they were all unavailable as soon as I called and he said they called technicians for my place although I asked nobody contacted me. I was mad to say the least. I ended up having to wait for another 40 minutes for my friend so I have somewhere to stay. This company is crap and I don't recommend it.

I would, if I could rate this less than one star. Had the encounter that is worse ever last night. My daughter locked her keys in her car. I decided to call this business due to the price that has been advertised. When I called the man quoted was a good price. I told him I'd call him back because I needed to compare prices. A person called me 5 minutes later asking me exactly what price I had been quoted by the 1st person. I thought that was bizarre but gave him the price I was quoted then we wrapped up. About 2 minutes later he texted me saying he could get it done for $20. I answered his text telling him I'd let him know. About an hour later I asked him when we could schedule an appointment since this time 1ed already it. He responded by text saying"I could come today at no cost". I answered"for free?" . He explained"it depends", followed by a joyful face emoji. I was shocked he even said that!!!! He never replied after that. How unprofessional is creepy and that to say the least? Never will I predict this business . It disturbs me to think what would of happened if he would of helped me? STILL SHOCKED!!!!!

Rip off burglars! The woman quotes me on the telephone saying $19 support and $35 for lock - . He looks at the lock, clarifies it's going to take one hour or more to do and the total price is $119 to $150 depending on how much time it takes him. He proceeds to inform me that he has another job and acting like he didn't care to be there to assist me or not. I immediately called another locksmith who gave me a price of less than half the price. Went with A 24 Hour Locksmith for less than 1/2 the price guaranteed. Told the King Locksmith employee to leave. He began getting hostile and demanded his service fee that was 19. I told him sue or to bill me. Why would I pay for a service fee for a quotation? Is that a support? Obviously, he eventually left once I took down his license plate and threatened that I would call the cops. Next thing I know, an employee by the name of Michelle calls me and threatens to call the sheriff within the 19. I told her to go ahead - I'm awaiting. I am so thankful I didn't spend the money. It literally took A 24 Hour Locksmith 5 minutes to open my door. Go figure. These guys are damn thieves.
