Absolutely dreadful. They gave me a $120 beginning fee for a key that I needed and said there would be"extra fees" depending on what the attorney said when looking at my car. I assumed it wouldn't be too much thinking I asked several occasions asking for an ESTIMATE of how much these fees would be. The question was pushed on by always away.
The locksmith comes, opens his minivan, and a lot of trash and keys falls out of the van. I says that's saved me hundreds of dollars and show him my key. What? He goes on to state the final price would be $180. A 50% growth. Unbelievable. I decline, and the locksmith informs me there is a service fee no matter $20 that I was told about. I call the"company" (I use quotation marks since the entire operation appeared so unethical and completely unprofessional) back and wonder what is happening. The guy on the telephone tried talking to me like I was incompetent in understanding exactly what went on, but he said there was a service fee. They can't even get their fees!
I wound up giving $20 to the locksmith. They call me back , not exaggerating times that are FOUR trying to decrease the price. Absolutely ridiculous. Avoid at any cost.
I man showed up from"Fidelity Locksmith" business and told me that his estimate for labor is $129 (plus the $29.99).
As soon as I said it had been too much for me to consent to pay for 5 minutes of work and apologized for wasting his time, he also declared that I still had to pay him $29.99 since it had been a"service fee" or the broker firm which I predicted will"make" him pay it. I refused to pay it since nobody revealed to me that I am going to have to pay this sum even if I declined the last estimate. In reality, if they told me upfront that I would have to pay $29.99 for an estimate, I would have declined and kept calling other amounts for local locksmiths to find someone who could simply quote me the price over the telephone and come do the job if I was OK with their price.
I just wish I called him .
This company is not a locksmith business, it is some sort of a referral/broker business that's running the next scam I had been exposed to now.

Afterward, I called that"broker" back and said that I was not likely to pay their"service fee" because nobody told me I would have to pay it if I declined the last estimate. The lady that I talked to was pretty rude this time (the exact same one who I talked to originally) and declared that she"absolutely disclosed" to me personally that I would be charged a service fee no matter if I consent to the job (that is a lie since she did not say anything to even imply that $29.99 would be charged either way) and said that she had a"recording" of her saying that to me personally. Even that was too much for a project, and I declined, but offered to call him back if, after phoning other businesses, I would determine that $100 is a market rate for this type of work. He then demanded that I pay anyway or he was planning to"start collections against" me. I told him that there was no sets to be done I am a lawyer, and since no work has been done and know that I do not have to pay any penalties not revealed for me upfront. He said"oh yeah, you're a lawyer now all the sudden?" And declared that his technician went to cut on the lockbox anyway and I'll find a invoice and will be forwarded to collections. After I said that I did not give them consent to touch the lockbox and requested their technician to depart, Matt jeopardized collections and declared that he was"terminating" our call. The technician was fairly nice, and it seems like he had been just as a lot of innocent victim of this"PBTP" business as I was.
Story: phone someone else to your services and Save yourself the stress and aggravation. This firm threatened and intimidated and attempted to trap me into paying the industry rate me into paying them anyway even when I dropped their services.
Story: whilst looking for locksmiths in Irvine, I needed a locksmith in Irvine to reduce an realtor's lockbox and found this company on yelp. I called to request a quote (believing I had been calling a locksmith company). There was a statement that this call will be recorded. I talked to a lady who neglected to disclose that they had been just a referral business, and said that it would cost me $29.99'plus labor" to cut on the box. I asked how much the labor was, and she said that just"their technician" can tell me the specific estimate after he gets there. As she asked thinking I would be receiving an estimate, I gave them my address, full name, and a phone number.
