DO NOT go to this company. They're unethical, and complete and utter scam artists.
Absolutely awful company. Their website recorded no prices . I knew I would need to pay more for the lock, I'd gotten locked out of my apartment, well were promised that a 15 minute wait. I had been about to call if the guy shows up to cancel. He is quite curt with me takes you look at my door and asserts that this little hole near.my doorknob has been an indicator I have a smart lock. I understand those require an app and are electronic. I live in low income housing chance of that being the case. He claims he wants FORTY DOLLARS PER LOCK plus the 15 dollar service fee. I said no way I could manage that I just paid invoices. He had been rude and said" you known as a locksmith company and do not even know how.much money you have?" I snap at him and he shuts up for a second and hand his card that he needs money, I tell him if he wants to wait around for me to go to the lender he can do that, make him wait like he left me, he begrudgingly goes to receive his card reader (idle sod). I paid the 15 bucks to get him out of my sight. I ended up asking my neighbor to help me pop off my window so that I could climb through my window that was rear, should have compensated him I really got in with his aid.
GARBAGE! If I could leave negative reviews I would! My mom 139 bucks billed to pop her lock, I phoned them pretending I wanted a quotation and they told me 75! Subsequently had the audacity to hang on me TWICE once I called him out on it. I disputing this fee and will contact the better business bureau!
I did a search and locked my keys in my car, last week. Upon calling them for unlocking the car told them I'd locked my keys in my car and wanted a quote. The man on the phone told me it would be a service fee along with a $30 unlock fee. I believed so that I had him send a tech out, that wasn't unreasonable. Upon arrival the tech had me sign it and fill out a newspaper with my advice. He told me it was likely to be 150. I explained to him that the man on the telephone quoted me $50 and his response was that because it was an SUV he had to charge an additional $100. I felt like I'd no option but to go because they were planning to charge me a service fee regardless of what. So I let the tech planned to discuss the overcharge with the office and unlock my car. It used the exact approach to unlock that he would on a car and took the tech less than a minute to unlock my car. After he left I called the office and the man answered. I explained to him what happened and he said he'd call his boss and the tech and call me back. 2 hours later I still hadn't got a call so I called him backagain. Whenever I told him he had been looking into an over charge for me he responded"I can not help you" and hung me up. I left messages and tried to phone him back several times but never heard back anything. I decided to dispute the charge. When I went to look up the company I realized they did not have a speech and the only thing I could find on yelp was"24 7 Locksmith". I realized almost all of the reviews described essentially exactly happened to me After I started reading the testimonials. This business is a scam and that I advise everyone looking for a locksmith to prevent this company before using any company with a name that is similar, and do a lot of research.
I was told a fee to come out along with a lock to be opened by also a minimum. Since it was a mailbox lockI assumed it'd be a minimum. The technician looked at the lock and said it'd be $65 which I was not happy about but signed for as I had the lock opened. It took to pick on up this lock and probably could have done it but a minute looks! Can 1 second's worth of work cost $65? If one minute is greater than the minimal then what's the minimum? So the total wasn't $15 plus $65. It was $86.00 which included taxation. Don't use these guys.
I phoned and was quoted a wait for 2-3 hours since no technicians were available at the present time. I was told I'd be called when somebody was able to come back so that I waited to assist me. I waited . I called back. I predicted back five times. / Each time I was directed to their own voicemail box which, surprise (if you can not tell that is sarcasm), was complete.
Garbage company.
Just don't waste your time. They do not care about their customers clearly.
I don't normally write reviews, but I was left with no option. I locked myself just therefore I call 24/7 since the Yelp advertisement GUARANTEES they are going to appear in 25 minutes or less. From the locksmith stating he will be there in about 30 MORE minutes, after the first 25 minutes, I get a telephone call. The girl was quite curt and said she would call us back with a discount (she never did). After over an hour we call that a period and are told it will probably be ANOTHER 35 minutes. Thus, we called again (see a pattern ?) And told them to cancel the ceremony, we'd find someone else. The company kept insisting we owed them the service charge since his house had been left by the locksmith already. After I refused to pay, some gentleman having an unknown amount (from the dispatch centre ) known as six more times, insisting we pay. Those discussions were rude, hostile and shockingly unprofessional. He promised to take me to court stating he"deals with people like me regular". DO NOT call this company if you'd like your lock selected. If you would like to wait hours for insulted and support this is your place! (I begrudgingly gave them one star since Yelp does not allow me to give zero stars - which I'd have)
Very poor experience! Was locked from my house and known as 24 7 locksmith. It took close to an hour when I was told somebody was nearby and going to be here in 20 mins. When the technician finally arrived I was given a large estimate since the lock was supposedly a'security lock'. I was sceptical but by then had already waited for at least one hour. He was going to charge me for coming out to the house. It took him 2 mins to open the'very challenging security lock'. This company is all about price gouging. They lie justify a higher fee and in order to create a job look challenging. Lesson learned!
If I could, I would give this company NO stars. They took 2 1/2 hours to come to open my son's truck. He locked his keys. On their website that listed prices and that I asked on the telephone about the internet discount and the price was listed as $35.00 to open a doorway onto a car plus the $15.00 travel fee. The tech that came out was impolite both to my son and myself . Following the eternal wait he showed up wand rather than the costs what I'd confirmed over the telephone, were suddenly 4 times as high and which were on the website. I got another service on the telephone and because now, due to their slow reaction we were looking at a nighttime call rather than during routine business hours, the telephone from Road Runner (who I should have called in the first place) was currently $100 to $120 rather than the $79.00 they quoted me. He tried to pressure my son into using his service or he left him locked outside. He finally said he'd take action for the Road Runner price of $120.00. Since we were now stuck we needed to cover that fee. Took him 30 seconds. He also attempted to pressure my son into paying the currently $35 fee when we did not use their service for coming out. I'm reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and reporting them to the office of the Attorney General because their tactics aren't ethical. They post one price because they often have over the barrel because they are locked out they inflate the price when they get there, the client and then on their website. They aren't an honest business.
I had been quoted $50 over the phone: $20 service charge and $30 to open my door. After my door was open, the bill was 210!!! The pricing structure of the business is terrible.
