I locked myself out of the home early. I started calling locksmiths after unsuccessfully calling my landlord. While I was met with what seemed like a fantastic bargain, at the end I realized you truly do get what you pay for.
He told me that I think he is my slave and need immediate gratification after I refused support. I tried explaining to him as a business, I expect that technicians and dispatch would convey better, and I understand things happen, but they should notify the customer.
I'm currently still locked out...
After another fifteen minutes, I phoned back while to hold the tech FINALLY called and to dispatch. He seemed groggy like he just woke up and told me it would be another 25 minutes. I asked about what was causing the delay (since I'm currently more than an hour late for work and needed to notify my boss). I was quickly met with mindset about how"stuff happens" and the dispatcher does not know how long it will take. Odd to mepersonally, since I was told by dispatch they had been communicating.
Dispatch called and stated it would be 100 total Following the tech left. Once I still refused to pay that (now angry at the whole situation), I was asked what I would pay. I told dispatch I didn't need the service or I was ready to pay what I was initially quoted.
The business' trustworthiness is completely damaged to me. This is completely unacceptable.
I got off the phone with him called dispatch to complain. When he came back he said it would be another 5 minutes, although he said he would attempt to get me another technician out and was nice. Ten minutes after the tech finally showed up! Here is the kicker. . .after being offered 55 total, the tech tells me it's $150 and a service charge to pick my lock.
I was told that a tech could be at my home in about twenty minutes later I was given a price quote ($29 for its base fee, $25 to open the door), and that he would be calling me instantly. Thirty-five minutes later, I still hadn't heard from the tech, so I phoned back. I was told he could be calling me that he would be at my home in 10 minutes. Following another twenty minute wait, I called again. The dispatcher stated he contacted the tech and he was going to phone. Guess what!? He didn't...
