Pop-A-Lock of Greater Rhode Island provides services for car, business, and your home. We are eager to offer these services to this community that is great. We could handle.
I was walked out and they made sure the keys worked. The customer service here. An old time locksmith with time client services.
I've needed to earn a car crucial. I stopped through this locksmith now and thought both people were helpful and professional.
I recently had the housing replaced for my remote key. The price was quite reasonable and the owner pleasant. I'll definitely use them again if needed.
One would assume that this company would have called me to schedule my appointment and would want business, it is now Thursday and I am still waiting for that call.
I closed on a home the day before Thanksgiving and I needed my own locks changed. I understood I was asking a lot so I decided to stop in the shop rather than call, since it was the afternoon before Thanksgiving. I was told that someone will call me back as soon as they were back in the shop. I never received a call back so I needed to call, the phone kept ringing. Someone called me back and abruptly said that no one would be working waiting to make an appointment for that Monday before Monday I held but the individual on the other end of the phone had already hung up. Now I can't wait to 5 days because it was only dangerous to change the locks. I called their rival A ABetter Locksmith the following day, and they came out!
Well, at least it's been over a year since I have wanted their solutions... But once again, they came so thankful to get this business nearby. (Not that I wish to utilize their services again!)
Called discussed to JOSE about the vacation setup and appointment the identical day. I was impressed that I got somebody about the vacation. Rate was very reasonable. Repair took bit more than he expected but the repair has been done and we're back on the street! Thanks for the prompt service!
I did end up attempting to do itself, and spent countless dollars on locksets that - of course - did not match in the three-quarter sized doorways. I ended up giving Affordable a second chance since they'd come highly recommended, and that is where they redeemed themselves. They sent a guy and within one hour that he managed to do what I'd been attempting to do all morning. So they closed 14, the door hinges all tightened up.
I recently purchased a new house and needed to rekey three doorways. Nothing was quite standard. Of the 3 doorways, not a single one had either a passage set and deadbolt that worked. This wasn't an easy"go to Home Depot and do it " sort of situation how it'd be if I was coping with a new-construction suburban property.
I just wish they'd sent him out the first time I called.
I had been somewhat annoyed when I phoned Affordable Locksmith to attempt and set an appointment, they told me I must only do it myself and refused to set one. I do give them credit for letting me know that is something I normally should have the ability to do myself and being honest rather than just taking my money. That does show honesty and integrity. But the fact that they would not listen when I had been attempting to tell them that I went to require a professional type of pissed me off.
Was professional, nice, and personable. He did a fantastic job and was well worth the cost.
I copied a car key and a few keys for my new flat. Got it done right and timely. The guys there are very wonderful. Fantastic customer services. Would highly recommend for any lock and key needs. 386 Central Ave, new address though
Had a auto key. Everything was fine until they reused the old key's chip which I had already paid $160 for. I went to reuse the older chip but they already did this and charged me the complete amount of $125 for effort. They didn't help with the cost. In the end I was suppose to have my key. A NEW key using a chip. So two chips. Should this happen again and now 1 chip I am gonna have to pay $100+ again. I expected to cover less since they didn't do the work but I guess not. 1 Star.
He could handle big commercial projects including re-keying a office, school or church building.
And he will be nice about it.
Full disclosure: I know the owner.
That apart, I could honestly state that owner David Sutton lives to serve his clients. This truck's number is his personal cell phone and he has it with him all the time. You've got a good chance that he'll be the one crawling out of bed in the middle of the night to open your door. And, he will be delighted to do it.
And because he's a stand up guy, after he leaves, you will not need to worry about your own security.
He will get you on your car.
I got a call from the woman who was house sitting for me that she'd locked herself out the house when my family and I was on vacation. I immediately called David and he was able help my house sitter and to come out in a few minutes. Thanks to David and Affordable Locksmith for the quick turn-around and helpful service!
Guys were friendly and helpful and did not laugh at the soccer mother who locked himself. They were on the scene in a timely fashion, were fast (got the door open and made a spare key in under 5 minutes), and, like their name states, they were super affordable. I would recommend them to anyone in the area that simply needs a locksmith or gets into a jam.
Nice guy on the telephone unlock my car. They took about 25 minutes to get to my car and their shop is just about a mile off. Fantastic service though!
Anyways, I said if he was there, he would only talk to my husband, but he continued to tell me not and that I had to be courteous in the future if he wasn't needed, telephone.
My husband's phone was locked in his car, and he was phoning out of the business's office phone where he had been locked out at...I couldn't call him back. 14 minutes after talking with this company, my husband phoned me back and said he did not need the support any longer.
What was I supposed to do????
I was going with a different service, who had been fine on the phone, but went to require quite a little time to get. So, I went with this particular company since it was the cost, but they could get. I should gone with my gut when I was on the phone making the appointment, as I had the address of the company, but did not know the drive my husband's car was , because I wasn't with him. . .and the man on the phone made me feel like an idiot for not having the ability to tell him exactly where the car was (yes, I know this is an significant part completing such provider, however I gave the address and the car's identifiers).
I called the company back to let them know and that I had been ridiculed that I had contracted for a ceremony and that I owed him and was reprimanded for canceling, as his gasoline isn't free. He kept saying he was about to turn in, which I did feel badly about and was there. I tried to be considerate and quite understanding and let me know I was sorry and realised a few times, but there was nothing I could do, because my husband said he worked out it. He repeatedly told me it WAS, in actuality, my responsibility because I had made the telephone and"contracted" and he explained he dropped everything he was doing to visit this call.
Isn't it the job to visit calls? I'm not certain what he'd have had to abruptly drop.
Anyways, he then hung up on me and said he went to visit another service call.
I am really impressed with punctuality and the professionalism of this provider. I called morning following locking my keys and has been quoted minute window and a price of birth. David came first and had the door open in a couple of minutes. It is great to deal with a company that values the time of customer and are specialists in their field. Hopefully I wont lock my keys in the house but if I do I be calling Affordable Locksmith! Thanks again David!
I needed keys for my new house. Called and made an appointment for the next day. David did the job fast, came out on time, and was upfront. I love his help.
I was quite happy with the service, value and courteousness of David Sutton, the owner of Affordable Locksmith in Franklin.
David has developed a useful site which exposes some of the scams perpetrated by unscrupulous'locksmiths' on unsuspecting customers.
Educate yourself. Do not be a victim. Did you know that TN needs locksmiths to have licenses? http://verify.tn.gov/
NEVER USE THIS PLACE! I locked my keys in my car. I predicted, but within 5 minutes of phoning I was able to open my car. I called back to cancel to bother anybody. The individual who responded started berating me and said I was"being a jerk." I said,"A jerk" to make sure I'd heard correctly. "Yes, even a jerk," he repeated. He told me I was responsible for taking him and his employee's uncle had died. He cried over me and hung me up, As soon as I attempted to reply. And please tell everyone you know about these, since I will.
In Reaction to David:Thanks!
David, not certain where you get the idea that I was using someone else's membership. I have been a member for 16 years and have my own membership to AAA. I was quoted $125 and then I recalled that AAA could pay for a portion of it or the support. When calling AAA, they say they cover $100 of this commission. AAA called after they pay $100, you and that I was told, my equilibrium could be $125. I questioned before thinking about AAA that since you told me $125. That means you would have received a total of 225. Hence that the use of AAA could have been no benefit if I had them use you. I asked them to look at this I called you back to be certain there was no misunderstanding and you rude and starting saying because I told them I lost the key and not that it broke, I was being dishonest. That wasn't the case, I told it was broken because either situation is paid by AAA, and it does not matter. I don't have any idea where you get the idea I was using the card of someone else. I can back up my case of having the support includes key replacement and loss and AAA membership. I advise you go to the webpage of AAA out what services are covered, and or phone check. In my opinion, I think you start calling me dishonest because you had been caught taking advantage of me and AAA and have defensive. I really do wish you well and I hope will know to be professional and try to get all of the details.
This business is a joke. I set up a time to get my store locks. So I started calling, Following 15 minutes past our appointment time, No one showed up. Nobody answered the phone. Then the proprietor called after I left several messages explained that he had been in the hospital (a friend had died of cancer) but among his workers was suppose to have come out. He said he'd call him and see what was going on. He called back and stated the worker went to the wrong plaza (but not stopped to predict when he couldn't find us???) If there was any way as I had taken time off work to do this, I asked Dave. My friend is such a rude and inconsiderate person for dying while you desired your locks " Because I asked you to send your worker back out to do a job??? This guy doesn't know how to distinguish his business and personal life and clearly is nuts. By reading the other YELP reviews this isn't the only time he's flipped out on 21, you can tell. This guy is not mentally stable.
I called one morning to set up an appointment to have my own door and storm door. At 4:30, no one showed up or had called, so I called. David, said a person was in their way. Guess what? No one called to inform me why or showed up. I had things that I had to be doing and wasted two hours of my time waiting on somebody.
I'm concerned about David, the owner of this company... Could it be that something has happened to him??? We purchased a new house also wanted to be sure the home was rekeyed the day it was ours. So we contacted David beforehand to go over our situation, and spoke with him a few times, establishing a appointment for 3PM on Mar 5 2013. I left a voicemail for him. 5 PM came, no David. A voicemail was left by my husband. We ended up having to sleep in the home knowing that the owner had given one key, and not knowing who had keys. Quite stressful!!! Which was what we wanted to avoid, and we worked so hard to attempt to organize this. It is now over a week and we STILL haven't heard from David! I'm hoping something or that he has not gotten sick. No matter what however, it might have been nice to receive a return phone call letting us know that he had no intention of coming. The next morning we ended up using a competitor. Called them and they were there at 8:30 AM. Better that evening, slept! I'm quite disappointed in David, as he gave every indication to us and sounded nice that everything goes smoothly, and that it didn't. Good luck David, where you are, but goodbye...
