Shop, great hardware selection and service for key duplication. Nice prices.

I live in the area and I have been trying to support my little businesses. This hardware store seems nice. But the prices are way over Home Depot or amazon. I purchased a doorknob that wasn't the perfect fit. Brought it back a couple of days afterwards and they acted like I never purchased it there. It was 8.99. I was in the process of purchasing 50 bucks of merchandise that is added. The guy said sorry I don't think it's out of here and refused. Though the price and packaging sticker was out of here. Do yourself a favor and buy it.

I love this place to the advantage. They create keys fast and Marcus, behind the counter was useful.

Girl at the register is wonderful. Made me a copy that was key 2 minutes so I wouldn't chip a nail, and also put it on the primary chain. Can't beat this support. Also their candle sales are great for stocking up for the home

BP is a chain of stores with an adequate selection of kitchen goods, hardware equipment, house electronics. These stores are convenient and have good hours. Usually I am prepared to go the extra15 blocks to Home Depot or Bed, Bath & Beyond because (1) BP never appears to have earnings and (2) they sell most items at a high price ($$$). That said, if you need something quickly and one of those BP stores is close, why don't you use it?

They are right up front and easy to see. I swapped my scanner out quickly and easily. In and out in under three minutes.
Wow, if you need a replacement canister to your Soda Stream, you've come to the ideal place.
I enjoy my hardware shops like I. . .fast and Simple. Though I prefer my figs to be slower.

There were not any customers after work hours. The 3 people seemed to have comraderie.
Came in to perform. (Not sure what the similar rate is from the city.) The rest of the household items which were in this shop mesmerized me.

Came to earn a copy of a secret and the girl at the desk Madison was the opposite of helpful. First needed me wait about 20 min to find the secret. Went to check the secret at my apartment and it does not work. Went back to have it done. . Assess the secret at my apartment. . It doesn't work. . Because now I have wasted an hour of my time I am somewhat annoyed at this point. I ask for my money back and visit the return the secret and she gives me the nastiest attitude. Instead of apologizing for her error she starts giving me a horrible attitude and criticizing me. I get my refund and visit the locksmith/shoemaker right. Not merely did he charge me $3 ( basics plus charged me nearly $8) but his backup worked like a charm! Save yourself the hassle and don't cope with this ripoff of a shop!

One final note - if you scare easily or have a heart disease, prepare yourself and deliver nitroglycerine. Lenses are there sometimes worn by one of the men. Good thing I stood close to the Home Fragrance section. Would be helpful had I never pulled myself just in time.
Gents - house odor is. Reeds are sticks that you stick (pardon the pun) to a (to simplify) bottle with aromatic oil and, since they consume it, they diffuse a light scent which does not overwhelm into the air of your home.
I don't need to clarify.
Are they overpriced?
You're welcome.
Plus they have lots of tools and bolts and nuts and stuff.
Aside from lovely aromas for every flavor, they have a good choice of masculine-note scents, which is a lot more infrequent than it seems. That isn't Gain or even Fabreeze or AirWick. Now don't tell the staff/owner, however that stock is priced correctly. Yes, they cost much. No, it is NOT better to Find a Bath and Body Works plug-in. No, they shouldn't cost more.
Yup. I've got lots of"yougottabekiddingme!" Moments within this shop.
Seriously. Scary shhhhhh.
Aside from just about anything household you may need (well, except for me - I've quite far-fetched ideas), they have an exceptionally excellent selection of very excellent quality candles/reeds.
That said, if you reside in the area, don't waste your time. Once you factor in costs of going elsewhere (time, gasoline, fares, lugging stuff, etc.) thry're dirt-cheap. Save yourself the headache. This is the place.

Nice, well-stocked homeware/hardware store; everyone here is friendly and helpful

Wonderful, quick. I had a copy of my key and I was in a huge rigen. I was taken care of right away with a price that was great and a huge grin. They get an A+++

Look. Danny, To begin with and Paco couldn't be more helpful and just plain fun.
So much more happy to shop here than at some unbiased sized area I could go to if I lived in the lame-burbs.
So what should the keys they make don't"work" each moment. They're produced by hand and price like a buck. Give em a opportunity.
Absolutely not. It is named Basics Plus which should provide you an idea. But can you get most of the simple stuff you NEED? And can there be a tiny bit extra you were not anticipating? Yes.
A number of the reviews on this actually annoy me. What are you people anticipating?!! This store is only 125 sq ft. Do you think they have the room to inventory 2012 Edition Razor Scooter or every Paula Deen Extreme South Deep Fryer? C'mon guys! Get Real!
I came in here especially because I needed a soda flow carbonator recharge (Basics) but I found a very cool shower curtain covered in reproductions of Old Master paintings (Plus) Don't search for this. I got the absolute one.

I'm unsure how much it costs to get copies of keys created.... But it seems expensive.
Despite this, service was efficient and speedy. They needed a selection of candles I sniffed while waiting such as tobacco. I'm pretty sure scent has been popular in 1988 for all the quitters/repressed smokers in NYC...

Love basics plus. The man who works there was very honest and also so helpful concerning yields. I tried to return a product I had no proof of purchase and no reception for a I. I exchanged it for the same thing that was six dollars more economical and he insisted that I take something about the way out only so I'd be. Also just has every hardware item you does copies that are keyword and need.

Worst place ever. Over priced and could just give me store credit in a product I purchased and tried to return. Do not go here!

This place is amazing. Not your average hardware store. The person who works there is so fine, has good morals, and he actually cares about there customers. Thank you basics plus for making my day so amazing. Amen basics plus, amen

Come here for home basics. The staff is very helpful, and items are fairly priced.

I was called here in order to fix a lamp that has a 3-way switch for 3 levels of light and which was working but just with a low level of light, and so I believed the switch broke. They gave a quote of $25 when I said they would call me and left the lamp to me. I was called by them later in evening and quoted $ 35. A little later I was told I could pick up the lamp the day. I asked for a demo to ensure it worked when I went to pick it up. There was no change until the bulb came out As soon as I got home. The lamp worked excellent, As soon as I replaced older bulb with brand new one. I believe that the store ripped off me. I'm fine with paying the time and expertise of someone, but this was too much for a fix.
The store was well organized, tidy and had great hours (available until 10 pm on weekends!) I'd consider shopping here but am irked I feel ripped off. I had a far better experience with lamp switch replacement at Midtown Hardware nearby.

I've been in here several times. They have customer services that is helpful.
They've a Choice of hardware for home repair as well as well designed home decor and kitchen items as well as late hours, I notice on Monday until 10 pm

In the home, I set the floor lamp and it wasn't smart. I called the store to find out if they wanted me to come back it assembled or if I should take it apart. I was told that Danny was that the proprietor, though he later claimed he was the Manager. Danny told me that the lamp was not in any way returnable. I explained that Paco had confirmed three occasions that I could return it, and the return was denied by Danny.
Extremely disappointed in this store, and its own lack of customer service. It is too bad, because they have products and choice. Won't ever go back. But I will sit in a living room that is darkened.
I explained to Paco that I had been using a halogen lamp and had a lamp because my living area area doesn't have any ceiling lighting. I especially told Paco I asked and would have to check it out -- three times -- if the lamp has been returnable. Each moment, Paco confirmed that the lamp was returnable.
The receipt does say'Total refund/exchange on items returned with a receipt, in original package within 30 days'. But I did not see the receipt until after I had paid for the lamp and tried to carry out a 25 lb box, and following Paco -- as a representative of the store -- told me it was returnable.
