As I discover that this shop's Saturday hours are convenient. Saturdays hours are irregular, so call prior to going, yet you will often find bob from the shop"Catching up on paper work".
While I installed a door on my 18, I moved to Bob on three different occasions. First visit I needed a mortise lock cylinder. Bob was not able to sell me a cylinder, he also had a choice of endings. He also keyed the lock for me to earn entrance in my home seamless.
I went to have the lock's spring latch reversed then again to have a striker plate which has been off by a fraction of an inch resized. Bob place the latch was on his workbench reversed by them and filed down the striker till it was a perfect match for the lock. Bob made working on this 90 year-old lock assembly appear simple.
So... If you're working with old doors and their locks, maintain this shop's number in your pocket, cause you will almost certainly be beating a path to their place.
