The first experience I had with a locksmith was not a great one. I had been locked out of the locksmith and my home I called sort of ripped off me. I walked away believing that although he and his dispatcher had not been truthful with me about pricing, he still had a really appealing job.I started daydreaming in my office about creating opening and keys locks for individuals. I enjoyed the idea of being the man that showed up to solve a problem. I started researching standard pricing and calculating what sort of income I had to stay fed and dry. And that I fantasized about a cheap low-price business model that relied on little more than hard work and a good reputation.Before I knew it I had been quitting that office occupation to enroll in locksmith school and get an apprenticeship. I found that the business model I'd envisioned was viable As soon as I started working in earnest. By always focusing on my customers' needs, I'm in a position to be a locksmith that individuals would like to hire and refer again and again.

I predicted to get a number of locks re-keyed - for several possessions with a master key design. These guys came out over a couple of days - were punctually - professional - and completed the work. No surprises or hidden charges - exactly as anticipated.
A key broke in our lock. The people at Bergman worked hard to pry it out! I ended up purchasing an key to replace the key that broke in the lock. My fiancé is jelly.

I called to program inquire and the rekeying about locks that were clever. Treated me as though I had been a martian. "I don't have any clue what you are asking?" "I really don't know what estimate you are talking about." I offered to email a photo of this estimate and she had been uninterested.
Combative. You'd expect from the DMV at a sit-com.
Oh my. Got an estimate drawn up on Bergman's letterhead by our agent to rekey a house that is brand new she offered to us. Bergman was recommended by her because she's worked for years together. The estimate was composed and stated it'd be honored for 30 days.
We tried to get keys created for our workplace and went into a few shops, but the quality was not great. We went to Bergman's and they made us a pair of keys. The men there are friendly and useful.
Excellent and prompt service. I wanted keys for bicycle rack and they had the ability to that at a great rate and quickly.

Together with all the workers being productive and polite, I have always had great luck at Bergman's. I went in to have some keys which they created but that didn't work replaced . Stated that the difficulty was not with all the keys but with all the lock, that was altered with age. I pointed out that the lock had been set up by them less than a month past. During this interaction she was rude. I have not been treated so badly by any revenue clerk in my life!

I called following my un Lock failed while it was secured in my apartment garage to my bike and the bike racks, Bergman's. Aaron was very nice and explained he was planning to try and fix the lock before we went directly to cutting off it, which would save me a little money. The lock had failed and he needed to cut it off. He had been right on time and favorable. So I didn't mind the purchase price, I was reimbursed by $90 for the whole thing but Kryptonite.
They came to my house 20 min after I phoned and fixed my door. They have been super friendly, professional, and experienced. They were cheap and put excellent customer service above all else. Thank you!!
I can not say enough great things about those gentlemen and ladies. All of them are so great at what they're doing. But it had been Lonnie and Craig who helped out.
1 morning a salon at a building I handle was broken into.After calling the authorities that the the owner chose to a'local locksmith' Anderson Lock aka 24/7 Locksmith. Whom we afterwards discovered was conducting the bait and switch scam: Quoting a single price and then charging another. The price he was quoting was over 3 times the total cost of the cost for the exact same fix ($870 vs $250) out of Bergmans, our LOCAL locksmith. The man out of Anderson removed the danger of calling the Authorities to expose that the scam, his substitute components goes along way. Bergman's saved and arrived the day with a reasonably priced and speedy fix.
I will never return to use them. I've utilized Bergman's for decades as needed. Now I tried to obtain a key as I have many times previously duplicated. Lonnie - that had been quite proud of the fact he is in control - rudely and curtly advised me he couldn't replicate it for me because of company policy. I know policies and am a fan of abiding by coverage. But I politely went on to explain that I had done this several times over and so while that could be coverage there are some of his employees that have violated that coverage in the past. Lonnie became dismissive and rude. And that is not appropriate or called for. I get that you've got a policy. And I'm not upset about it being kept by you. What I am upset by is being dismissed. And I will never return and encourage others to avoid being treated rudely.
Bergman's is highly recommended by me. They have always been professional and extremely helpful, regardless of what we desired and have installed multiple types of locks on our house. I have remained impressed following every house trip, and wouldn't hesitate to use them.
I just moved to the neighborhood and wanted to get duplicates of an key made, the staff member was very rude to me and while the task was simple and fast! As soon as I approached, she had been decorating the front door on a bright day, and I smiled and said that I could walk beyond excuse me; and she rolled her eyes and asked what I wanted. The mindset wasn't vital. I'm sorry for the hassle of giving you business!!
This company was purchased by a bigger chain, so their costs went up. However, they are still local to my demands, show up on time, are fast and very professional.
These guys saved my butt!!! They had been locked up and heading out of the door when I showed up trying to find a key made final minute that I had to have right then. My keys were left by the man with all the hair bun without even hesitating while another got the computer up and running to operate my card. This is the form of customer service that will keep me coming back for several years! To management and ownership, your crew takes care of their patrons at the sacrifice of their time. Keep these guys around!
Need to update my 2011 review of Bergman's after my experience with these. They had been only Five Stars. Following today's save, I'm adding another celebrity.
These guys are local and great. Went into the shop one time using a proprietary crucial for the scooter to be copied and it was like a fun mystery for those locksmiths there. They did. Today they rekeyed the locks in our house came out to do the work he was super efficient, friendly and useful. Support Seattle local businesses!
Andrew was quite considerate and allow me to use his mobile phone to make several calls for an alternate place to wait patiently Though I was not able to get in at the time. Hopefully I do not lock myself but if I do I'll call Bergams. The client service is well worth it.

I called Bergman's and locked myself outside of my house. Not only was the gentleman who came out on site Andrew professional and polite that he went over and beyond to attempt to help me enter my home. Unfortunately my landlord has a high security door so it was not able to be picked. I was offered an alternative but it could have cause a need. I opted to wait till my landlord might come out on site.
