Tom was excellent! He came 10 minutes later I called on a Sunday. He used the pick method, so when he's completed, we didnt have to replace our keys. His cost was more affordable than the 3 locksmiths I called.

I wish I had read the other reviews here that say the specific same thing. Stay away.
Since that time it has been missed appointment after appointment, excuse after excuse. They did not show up another 3 times in the time that is agreed upon. They've complained about time difficulties, health issues, personal problems, warehouse difficulties, shipment issues etc.. The majority of them very questionable excuses. They ignore calls entirely and just send back texts that are jagged.
My experience with Castro Locksmith was extremely awful. We needed to change some locks that were basic to ready our rental condominium and contacted Castro Locksmith.
Jeremy and his team appeared very friendly and hot . But I gave them money up front and once they requested, Jeremy and team immediately left with the job stating after that day, they had a personal emergency and could come back.

He's made excuse after excuse on why he has not even ordered the part I paid him (his truck broke downhe got inventory on other jobs, etc) and even confessed to me at a stage that he was avoiding me. I've contacted him numerous times to finish the job or refund my money and it does not seem like will occur.
Jeremy took a deposit to install a lock on our door and appears to have no intention of actually finishing the work.
The San Francisco DA's office has been contacted by me concerning the situation, although I am not going to devote the time and money to sue. It sounds like other people in the neighborhood have had exactly the same experience, so I'd recommend using another locksmith should you need this kind of work done.

I was thrilled. He managed to make it out the day to replace a lock. That day he set on (what he said would be a temporary lock, but would be back to replace it). I paid him believing he seemed like a nice man and it wouldn't be an issue. Fast forward a month, I have attempted to contact a few times with one response and nothing the last two efforts to him.
This experience compelled me to ensure it is my own first, although I have never written a yelp inspection earlier.

His son Zach and jeremy came to help replace a busted door. They told me I had to cover the taxi, which was strange, and came in a taxi . I refused to go pay by charge card as they insisted (did not wish to leave my home with them there as I had not met them before) and gave them a $20 for the supposed $9 taxi. I asked for change; Jeremy did not give me .
He did not. Nor did I get a call on Sunday.
A couple of minutes later I got a call so they could get cash which I declined and asked about the paperwork asking for Square cash. I had been told they would call me back.
I got a text a couple of minutes later with a composed invoice. As soon as I clicked"concerning the company" it just had a private Gmail address. I got another call, this time from Zach: I told him I would not give them cash and asked about the legitimacy of their small business and the bill. He said he would fix it and call me back.
After looking at the lock, they told me it'd be several hundred bucks to correct and that they would need to order the part and come back and fix it, though I would need to pay half.
This is a deceptive organization, and I've reported them to authorities to the BBB and others. STAY AWAY.
After they had left, I got a call from Jeremy, who told me they had attempted cashing my check but it was too late, therefore I needed to go to an cash. I told them , I was uneasy with this and we had agreed on a test ahead of time. He asked me to receive them cash; I asked why I had not gotten an invoice or any paperwork, and said no. He told me he would look into it and call me back.
I told them beforehand I did not have cash (however they called ahead asking for it since their charge card reader had been also broken) so I wrote a test and we agreed to speak Sunday to affirm ordering the component once I had spoken with my landlord.

STAY AWAY. There plenty of very good locksmiths in town.
I hired them to correct a broken part. They said the part would be within a few days, also requested for payment up front. They shot the broken part and also my door manage to double check they ordered the proper thing. Fourteen days and two no-show appointments afterwards, they have stopped answering my calls entirely. Not only did they take my money and not deliver exactly what I paid , they took my door handle and set me. Do yourself a favor and go with another person.
You are going to see Castro Locksmith has a tradition of earning money and not providing, if you read through testimonials.

Cancelled in the last second not once but two, showed up an hour late, did an awful job and left damage.

Service once I met Jeremy and his helper Zach down to ground and I mean it. When they had a star I would give it if your in a stressful situation like 21, helps. Losing the keys to my car wasn't what I was looking forward to but humor and the service cheered me up.

It's simple. They are the best. They come super fast no matter what time. The price is quite reasonable. They give you options for whatever you want. They are wonderful and I recommend them to my friends when ever anyone has been locked out, wanted new locks, etc..

Jeremy gave me a paper slide invoice in the end so that I could reimburse locksmith to AAA:-RRB- Everything was done in 15 minutes. Awesome Job! Thank you!
Jeremy was amazing, he was able to open the doorway nub in two minutes. What I appreciated the most about Jeremy was he didn't just doing his job and leavehe pays attention to detail and be certain everything is in excellent condition. Jeremy knew the door nub that was loosen could cause me to get out lock, he fixed it up to ensure everything is great.
I asked Locksmith service from Google, and I've got several cost quote from different locksmith places. Jeremy let me know his cost, and how long it will take and called. Jeremy gave a sensible cost to me, and he came at a time.
I thought it was a sad day for me when I understood I locked myself from my flat todayI ended up very grateful for this incident due to Jeremy's professional, responsible, and total service helped me to rethink of what a true professional work is.

My neighbor was frantic after she locked herself out of her apartment on a weeknight without her phone at 8pm. She had abandoned pasta cooking on the stove, along with there has been a situation imminent. I Googled locksmiths and known as six outfits. Castro Locksmith was the one. Not merely did the locksmith rearrange his schedule to hit us (calling the next customer to OK the delay), he was professional, knowledgable, and very good-natured. Due my apartment construction, to Castro Locksmith lived to see.

We couldn't have asked for better service or a better price. In our apartment, we were back within 10 minutes.
Should you ever find yourself locked out, call Jeremy - without a doubt the locksmith encounter I've ever had in my entire life.
Locking yourself isn't a feeling. Especially on a Sunday night. In 45 minutes with his locksmith partner/dog Oscar and that he was at our apartment We called Jeremy.

Castro Locksmith is a fraud. I compensated Jeremy Green upfront to perform a project and he never showed up to do the job. He confessed that he spent the money and promised to pay it backagain. Never did, never will. Total unprofessional.

Before contacting them, oh, wow, why did not I browse. SCAM. They take money and then disappear without finishing the job. Bad folks, bad organization.

These men saved my night. They were friendly, and worked fast. The cost was also reasonable, considering when they arrived, it was after hours.
