Chan Drainage

Armando Chan and his guys are excellent! I just bought a house and throughout the process I've met with numerous contractors and read quotes on various types of work. For starters quote and Armando's bid was the most comprehensive and well written of any I've come across. He's easy and friendly to work with. He and his crew were on were scheduled and functioning in a few days. Everybody was completely professional. They worked putting in a system, grading the dirt, cleaning the debris from beneath the house and installing pipe, and the actual barrier. Our residence is in a floodplain and also we will not be paying for flood insurance. I feel like this is a more sensible solution than making a claim. I will create value by adding this and it is going to never flooding due to Chan's drainage alternative. Chan has been doing this type of work since childhood and got his start. I feel totally confident in his work and the plan for how it works. The job itself seems so impressive. It is clean enough beneath my house. My electrician will be. This is money well spent and I'm thrilled with the work done. We'd recommend them to anyone!

Tried twice to get these guys out. Both times scheduled an appointment and Armando talked and gave my speech. For the next move, he was apologetic and guaranteed he'd be there... well, yet another no show. Flakey at best.

If you look up"awesome contractor" from the dictionary, you will find a picture of Armando. They have been at our home for four days, so have a few observations: First, drainage function demands accurate creativity. You will need somebody like Armando to be able to picture the solution, frequently without seeing the problem, and that is a real talent. Secondly, Armando's team is. Like, hard work that is mad. The quality of the job itself is epic. He constructed our method to outlast our home no detail overlooked. Fourth, his pricing honest and reasonable (which can be stunning by itself). As is his team he's a pleasure to have around. Just like a doctor with fantastic bedside manner, Armando would patiently explain how they were planning to fix it, and what he discovered.

I had some fairly significant drainage issues. An old busted french drain supposed water in the crawl space with no sump pump reservoir and then installation....just dirt. A muddy pond. A mess.
The drain was installed, gutter downspouts were sent off pipes to the run and the whole lot was smoothed over.
The garden looks! Armando poured concrete that was fresh to the crawl space access'lip', which was broken.
My kid was sad to see these go. But we are really looking forward to the rain!
Team and armando arrived immediately and can be best described as a small army. I was around among the times and these men worked hard and were very concentrated.
The crawl space was trenched to another sump pump reservoir. Again Armando dug than he had to, installed a larger reservoir than he had to and set up a excellent sump pump.
On the previous day (3 times total) the vapor barrier went . Floor, walls, articles etc etc.. Solid materials and a job that is solid. Neat job website throughout the process.
Armando is good at what he does so he's a busy guy. Another customer failed to affirm website access so he called me to move up in the purchase and fitted me as soon as possible, although I believed it was going for a couple of months.
Armando didn't tack on trench depths, actually he went and also he attracted rock that is more than enough to fill in installing the french drain. Each of the dirt was wheel-barrowed out and quickly to his trailer.
Armando came to the home with another guy and they assessed a couple of courses of action. Deciding a strategy, he got me in the calendar.

Armando and his team come over on Sunday to replace the sump pump. Not only were they punctual and on time but they were very professional. They were out and in in about a half hour! They not only substituted the sump pump but they also helped divert the water to go out the road vs. the original owner's way of redirecting it into another adjacent pump out. Efficiencies achieved!
We hired a sump pump to be replaced by Chain Drainage in the crawlspace. Together with the last storm of a day+ we found that our sump pump broke. To get in front of the next rains we had to act. We found Chain Drainage on Yelp and it is a choice we will not regret. Armando came over to scrutinize and gave a quotation to us and we agreed. Let us do this!

We engaged after getting a few quotations, Armando Chan to put in a drainage system for our home. He was quite responsive, from the start. He has a fantastic eye for identifying the sources of the issues and finding creative solutions which don't go overboard. He was not at all annoyed with all the abundance of questions we had to get him, during the quotation process and through the job. We ended up getting a few french drains installed. He and his team of five were hard-working, with the job 3 days, carrying. An individual cannot truly understand what an back-breaking and massive undertaking it's to earn a french drain until you see it happening. We are comforted by the depth to which they dug the trench (below the base level), which will ensure any water leaking throughout the ground will be caught by the drain, not penetrate our base. The project was messy, yet at the conclusion of each day, the work places were neat and they cleaned and hosed down the sidewalk and steps when the job was completed. The mulch moved back. You would not guess what had just taken place there minutes before. There will not be rain for at least a week, but I'll update the review if there are some issues when it does rain next.

I have lived in Marin County for several years and I am surprised by a few of the substantial quotes I receive for various 36, although I should be accustomed to it . As a retired carpenter I've a fantastic understanding of the job and costs . In fact I'd enjoy if knees and my back could manage it, doing the job myself. Armando did an superb job redoing our crawl space. We had major issues with our moisture management: timber straight onto grime, poorly positioned sump pumps drainage to the road. For an extremely reasonable cost Armando put a vapor barrier mended these issues, poured concrete, and put in a new pump. This drainage business was great! We had standing water beneath our house! My call was returned by armondo quickly and came out to talk about the options. Crawled under to a day and took photos and walked . His cost was fair and scheduled a time to come along and dig out a trench and put in a pump. Tough workers, honest and dependable. Great! The rest of the house is not than the garage of our home in Petaluma. Water is accumulated by it on the cracked floor during rainy season. Contractors and engineers had solutions! Armando Chan quickly ascertained that the issue would be fixed by drains within the garage and came in. He had been so convinced. He gave me such a sensible bid. He's been in this industry! After two days of work, not just had his team set up the drain and mended the floor, but he also ended off the cement walls of the garage and place apoxy on the floor. Armando gave excellent explanations of his strategy to take care of my issues to me. My home is on a slope, and the property has a problem of water washing down leaving gullies. He steered outside the water to the road, also included drains on three sides of the home in the crawlspace. Just gravity, no pumps. The work appears to be clean, and he stuck to the agreed upon program. I'm quite delighted. The rainy season will tell! His work is supported by him for a couple of years, also said to call him when any issues arise. By the way, a year ago I had a drain is installed by another contractor . Tons of water moving beneath the surface made it's way, although it helped for the past rainy season. Armando analyzed the work and believed the channel wasn't deep enough.
