We had our water filtration system installed by City Water annually ago and the filters will need to be replaced. Called City Water and the cost for its replacement filters jumped from $200 to $265. Ok fine, but then we had to reschedule the installation. Guess what? The cost jumped to $375. Once they have their system set up they can jack up the rates. Buyer beware.
City Water Filter sent a plumber into my property to substitute a filter element of their drinking water filtration system. Was unprofessional and very rude. He replaced the filter components some were still very good. The fee was high. We complained about the work and called the company, but we got all kinds of explanations. The company required the payment right away. After emails sent by the firm were very rude. This is the worst builder I have ever experienced. I would not urge everyone to utilize the services supplied by the builder.

Thank you City Walter filter people. Because my kitchen water faucet was leaking they cane same day. I had to shut off water source to prevent the leaking. They were able to fix it very quickly with no hassle. I will also reach out to them once I want help with plumbing and would recommend them any day.
These men are the I had to have a gas line long and a new cooker put on a deadline, so I sent out a bunch of requests on Yelp. Clay responded minutes using a quote to my opinion, also he was able to send out someone to Oakland the following morning to perform the job. The installer was friendly and professional. The installer was an electrician in addition to a plumber, although the job was complicated than I believed, requiring some work! These men were good and easy to work with - Highly recommend calling them.

Isaac did a great job. I kept in communication with me and am out of state. He explained what the difficulty was, how much it might cost and how long it would take. The costs at City water were cheap in comparison to other plumbing businesses. Isaac gave me a different scenarios of how much they'd cost and what the problem might be. He managed to maintain the job at the lowest estimate. Like businesses see how much they can squeeze out of you, I believe this is great, I feel. Overall very professional and honest. This provider also honors the military!

Since we had already purchased a pelican salt-free water restoration system through Home Depot and only needed installation, we only went with someone else. .
Our one shower just like clockwork every few months would stink and I was getting tired of always having to find someone to fix it. I was on yelp seeking to discover a place to service our shower with reviews that are good and also come out the day and I came across City Water Filter. I got a fast response and messaged them . Someone came out and that he really checked the crawl space under the house to find out what went on with the pipes that surprised me because no other companies had given to do that. Shows City Water Filter wants to really alleviate the matter not just cover it up with a band aid so that they could keep making money off of 32, so to talk. After going in the crawl space, the man who came noticed until it moved to the sewer so it would not drain 35, among the pipe grates was at a angle. He offered to fix that for us and in the meantime he did snake the drain. In the end we spent money and time dealing with this company that was nice. Overall really satisfied with the fast response time, knowledge of honesty and pipes.
Will use their service anymore or never do business. Very terrible communication, company, overall bad experience. Lesson learned is to never settle with only one company based on their reviews that are excellent.
Terrible customer service! Stay away! Their water heater support was installed by us in our home in Los Altos. Cal Water decided there was a leak and we had a plumber come in that there was a leak where the water softener drain was connected due to a shoddy job also who ascertained the cause was the Water Softener unit. City Water Filter delivered. He was super rude and stated there is nothing he could do about the $1000 that I paid in excess water and for the plumber and I should just"eat it" and that the units he installs malfunction constantly and there is nothing he could do about it besides replace them. Post my conversation he requested his technician. I am left with a defective unit and a leak! Planning to take legal recourse

Clay and his team were awesome. Contacted to noon. He gave a good price to me and confirmed immediately after asking some questions. Their folks came as he got it done in couple of hours without the difficulties and told. Good and all working today. Could not go better than that. Clay was easy to work with and I would suggest them.
I had a water heater and a reverse osmosis system in my house. I didn't have a bunch of time and I didn't want to shop around. I just needed somebody willing to come out to my house and priced. I found all that in City Water Filter. Clay made it easy to make an appointment to come out and get me setup. I am quite satisfied with the job they would recommend them for my friends and did.

Do not bother with anyone else, your research concludes. This business not only taught me on the differences between salt-based solutions and sprays (they sell both solutions), they suggested that a conditioner depending on what I really needed. Other companies will possibly sell you a expensive, proprietary tech or will go on and sell you a salt-based alternative (even if it is not necessary for you) only since they can earn additional cash on it. I laugh inside when I hear my neighbors spent their installments that are unnecessary.
City water has always been helpful, even offering info. One time I called to ask if I needed to flush out my water heater on a yearly basis if I owned a water conditioning alternative. Though the lady on the phone could not reply me instantly, they called back with the answer (answer is it's not necessary) and even texted me that info afterwards.
