Needed keys made. Very neat shop with two employees prepared to help. Will go back when I've locksmith requirements that are more complex.
The business is also called"Consolidated Security Systems" and that's what the storefront states. Not so sure how they ended up on Yelp as"Consolidated Lock."
Friendly staff. I moved in for some key copies & discovered that they also put in cameras & DVRS. I asked a couple of questions & they had been willing to answer the difference between IP & analog cameras & my own questions about clarity. I will return for copies that are key, they have a crazy number of blanks. Storefront was clean and tidy.
I give Consolidated Lock two stars: I enjoy the mindset of the staff on a personal level, but deduct three stars when distributing keys in checking ID.
While I did like easy-going nature and the overall friendliness of the staff, I would like to suggest to staff and the supervisor that they diligently check ID and proof of residency in these instances, each moment. I consider the building to be my house and would trust that they consider my and my neighbors' security and safety when they hand into the location.
I live in a building also we utilize Consolidated Lock to disperse place keys to residents that are authorized. I had to go to Consolidated Lock to get a place keys that are common and was appalled to find that I simply had to tell them that I was a resident of the condominium building. Neither was requested and the individual on hand asked how many copies I wanted, although I expected them to ask confirming I was indeed a resident or started to pull out ID.
I've been doing business. They are responsive--dependable and quick service.
Thomas, ron, Eric and staff are excellent. They are comprehensive, excellent communicators, and so are great problem solvers. They are highly recommended by me!
These men are the best. They thoroughly look after your requirements and you have to know them and follow through with fantastic customer services. They are also quite knowledgeable about their merchandise.
