Do your self a favor. And bypass the rooter businesses advertising to tryto simply on cost upsell you costly and unnecessary alternatives. Call a company like Drain King where they won't try to take advantage of you and understand what they're currently doing. I've never had a better experience. I could not recommend them more.
After talking with Chris who was quite knowledgable, Drain King sent Jimmy out the day to look at the circumstance. He walked around my house and went over and beyond even though it turned out to be an issue having a sewer pump. We were not positive if it was the responsibility of the city or not but he waited to make sure the city did not try to push the blame. It turned out to be my responsibility but thanks to Drain King and Jimmy that I have an understanding of the issue that One Hour Rooter could not figure out. They were incorrect in their assessment of the circumstance.
I had an issue with my drain backing up into the basement. I phoned One Hour Rooter who came out and refused to snake the main line and instead tried to push against water jetting for me for $1500. At that point I sent them away and spoke to some buddy who is a master plumber. He told me they had been trying to rip me off and referred me to Drain King.
Someone was dispatched by them instantly. A thorough and pleasant technician, tony, cleared the drain of roots and debris and got us back on line in a minimum amount of time. Thank you, Tony!
We all recognize that cellar sewer drains only back up on vacations and Sunday's! So when ours began flooding the basement flooring when doing a load of laundry, I called Drain King since I had used them before with good results.
Total fees came to $255. A reasonable price for an emergency Sunday call. Recognizing that not everybody's situation is as straight as ours, costs will understandably vary. So, yes, I will certainly use them again but next time for"avoidance services" before things get out of hand!

I had a plumbing issue at the house and Drain king plumber came 3 times trying to repair it out.
Recently had a problem with a slow major drain, initially called a different plumbing service which couldn't fix the issue and attempted to sell me on a $1,500 support (Hydro jet). Called Drain Kingthey quoted out 1/3 of their price of exactly what their competitor was charging, but they felt I didn't want the service the men said I needed and that they could clear my line. In short, they cleared my drain line, notified me of some issues. From dispatch to technician they were educated. They charged a bit more but they did a much better job and knew exactly what they were doing. I know who to call today
I have used Drain King twice over the previous three decades to snake roots out both times the service was very prompt, comprehensive, and quite reasonably priced. The servicemen were more friendly, useful, even funny, despite the nature of their trip -- not agreeable work!
