We've got an old house (1924) with equally old plumbing, and all owners had been using the same family plumber because the twenties. We were pretty sad this season, when they closed.
Great assistance to an old house - Thank you!
Emory is highly recommended by us.
Our plumbing woes were mysterious and was going on for several months, having baffled others.
Carlos from Emory was unstoppable - he just wouldn't quit until he figured out that the problem, and he then came up with the solution.
The group at Emory is a trustworthy partner in solving issues which are hidden within our style home. They are competent, timely, nothing but equitable, and professional. Emory has saved money by supplying options for fixing, and rationale and suggestion about the best way best to proceed. I'll always call them for jobs big or little.
These men are a 5-star group; don't be duped. The of 2 and 1 star reviews that I see posted are plausibly for based on their descriptions uncalled. I'd wager that they're being made by someone with a bad day, or a keyboard warrior having communication issues.
I live in a downtown high-rise condominium building and also have had them out about 3 times to my place now. Carlos is the plumber. His wisdom and familiarity w/ the construction's policies and processes was reassuring. He gave ideas and some good recommendations, and was good at describing what was going to be done. Had them replace all my angle stop valves, then install a garbage disposal, replace leaking kitchen sink pipes/p-trap, and swap-in some replacement components I'd ordered for the kitchen sink and shower faucets. They were prompt and did excellent work that is great. A big thanks to the office team (Leah, Laurie Anne, Katelyn) for accessing it all coordinated. Much appreciated. I will definitely use them again if I have any upcoming work.
Great communication, comprehensive, and timely. Keeping their number. Thank you
I use Emery Plumbing every year for my yearly checkups and to repair anything plumbing related. Carlos, who I request is very professional, experienced, and friendly. I also suggest Emory Plumbing for my daughter. Her Family is very happy with services from Carlos. Based on our experience I highly recommend them.
Loved their fashion.
Great service. Came fast and performed service in an efficient manner.
This is actually the second time we have used and have had another fantastic experience. Carlos knows how to correct everything and is quite friendly. We had a few small plumbing issues also and he solved let us understand how to keep them in the future. So long as Carlos is functioning at Emory I will for sure be a repeat client. I have recommended Emory to family and friends because of their customer service. Thank you again.
Disappointed - Watch out. . .plumbers and used car salesmen. Most plumbers are searching for easy quick tasks to make a quick buck (and more than charge).
I got a telephone call from the receptionist having a $1000 quote for a fix we hadn't discussed. She said the technician and coworkers who made the proposal spoke. What they proposed replacing was a virtually regulator. Nobody asked me if it was replaced or how old the regulator was.
EMORY advertised as being a plumber. I requested a specialist in hopes of having somebody who's been around. Instead a got a young guy who vaguely appeared to understand what he talked about. He'd discussed a few ways to fix the issue and diagnosed the issue. Stated he would forward a quote fix.
This is the issue that I had with the previous two pipes companies. . .suggesting replacing/installing random components for large $$$$.
To make matters worse, made two telephone calls in an effort to speak with the technician. . .no return call. A manager that is requested give a call back to me. . .no return call.
It appears, if you need a leaky faucet, a fresh hot water tank or some basic, you're going to be probably fine with EMORY. However, if it's anything complicated, make sure you get at least 3 quotes.
Tried 3 different plumbers to diagnose and fix a water hammering problem at a business with tankless unit and a 90 gallon tank.
The main point is: Your workers are argumentative and in need of some critical re-training. A reason is I told the man I was talking with to go $#@% herself. All they had to do was say we don't have the component, it will take x number of days. Class A customer support directly there.) .
(There it is! NO accountability. That is ok. My purpose was made. Folks may see which type of company that is. Your reply is simply not correct. Regardless of what was or was not stated, your workers should not speak to clients that manner. Bottom line. I was calm and polite, up until I was spoken to like a child that stepped out of line. Maybe I should not have murdered, but perhaps your workers ought to have a respect for those clients who supply the revenue that covers their paychecks eh?
Needless to say, I advised her to go $%#@ herself, and wrapped.
Stay. Away.
The girl I was talking with began talking over me and lost her temper and got a serious mindset. There was"no way" that they had been providing me the information on what part it was. I requested to speak with her boss. She stated no. Flat out, only said,"no you can't speak with my boss."
Rude employees. When they act like it's a hassle when you've got a question, it is always nice. However, that is not my primary issue.
(I look ahead to how the person who manages this page will probably try to talk her way from this, and claim all kinds of absurd things. This only shows you how this particular company is not accountable for anything...
Arguing ensued. And I can't BELIEVE anyone would EVER speak to a repeat customer such as this. Such an attitude. I cannot overstate how rude they are.
Absolutely ridiculous.
EDIT AFTER OWNER RESPONSE:
My Advice?
I called a different business. They stated they will have it. Parts are stocked by them, because they're a plumbing company that is real. Not a fly by night place who ekes out a living over priced parts and praying on individuals who don't understand any better.
They came to scrutinize my heater, and stated I needed a part that was distinctive, also it would be here and installed within 2 business days.
So, 2 business days after? They purchased it but didn't have any estimate on when they'd possess the part. I find that hard to believe. Seems like they simply forgot. They said it would be here in a couple of days or, and I am directly quoting here,"whenever it gets here." At no stage did they provide to find a tracking number for the part that is ordered. In reality, once I asked for the tracking number, I was told they don't have a means.
To be clear, I am not saying they're bad at what they do. I am saying that their customer support is non existent.
I said that is fine, and requested them for the information on the part, so that I pay to have their technician install it and then really could go down and pick it up myself.
Hopefully this paints a clear picture of who prospective clients are doing business with.)
Unbelievably rude workers! No apologies for errors - insults and threats. The guy seemed drunk. He's a better plumber that way, but it definitely caused an unsafe situation and I'm glad I'm done with them. Go elsewhere!
Unbelievably rude staff! Questions were being asked by me and was always spoken over and cutoff. As soon as I requested not to be spoken , the woman on the phone told me to not speak"at her". I responded by asking her not to talk me over while I was talking and was hung up on. I encourage everybody considering using their services to look elsewhere and would never do business with them. The worst customer service I have EVER encountered.
Highly recommend Emory Plumbing. The company has the manager, Lisa, who's a person responded fast for the majority of the time along with message on Yelp although I really don't like to create phone calls but. There is something but two technicians are both nice and experienced and they quickly fixed it. Thanks to their aid! :)
On Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend, I had a plumbing flood crisis. I called Emory Plumbing, also, Carlos was my home over 90 minutes after my phone was made by me. Carlos functioned quick and clean, and the problem was also fixed by him . Although I do not advocate with a flood, I recommend Emory Plumbing.
In September 2015, the tech was not able to create his or her window, so we had been forced to cancel the appointment. It was annoying but it happens.
I've had my ups and downs with home technicians and companies. In general, Emory has been pleasant and simple to use. Emory has busted replaced shower fittings for me and drains.
I asked assistance. He was knowledgeable and everything that is fixed efficiently.
I would use Emory Plumbing's services .
I was having issues with my ceiling radiant warmth. There are not many technicians qualified to operate on those systems system, if you have this type of heating. Lucky for me, Emory was there. They provided recommendations that were sensible diagnosed my problem and came on time. I endorse Emory Plumbling.
They were professional, helpful and arrived when they could, which was respectfully given the brief notice I provided. The job has been handled nicely and I would recommend their services.
Thank you men.
Emory Plumbing is currently overcharging for their services.
I wouldn't recommend them at all. Be cautious and get another estimate!!!!!
Ace Contractors completed exactly the job.
Emory gave an estimate of $11,800 and a charge of $96 for the site visit.
We had a leak in the gas line to the pool and it needed a replacement.
This is my first time working with a plumber and I felt it was an okay experience.
Cons: the communication was bad. The tech came back and left my house shorty. During which I had no idea what went on or where he went. I needed to call emery plumbing main office to inform me what went on and when he'd be coming back . Maybe this is normal protocol for a plumber, but I wasn't expecting that. Issue about communicating was the simple fact that nobody called to inform me after the occupation precisely what the procedure was likely to be for receiving my drywall mended. Once more, I needed to contact the office myself about when someone would be coming to fix the drywall and ask. I had no idea how payment was done. No one told me to anticipate an email so I was waiting until I was contacted by someone . Better communication with clients would be greatly valued.
Pros: fix that is fast, easy to set up appointment, fantastic access to plumbers.
Was very impressed with the service and did an outstanding job.
Highly advised. They came on time and were really fast and professional.
Thank you,
Thanks, Emory!
Emory has excellent customer support and has been quite timely in their response! We were called by also our son Sunday afternoon and we were on vacation in Colorado and explained our water heater was leaking. We called Emory (our go-to pipes firm!!) And a new water heater has been set up! We're very happy with their support and commitment to customers to provide quick, professional plumbing fixes!
