Ford's Plumbing & Heating

I have used Ford's plumbing in the last year.
He certainly knows his stuff and he is highly recommended by me.
My old water heat said goodbye. I called Scotty and Ford showed up and got me a brand new one pronto. He walked me through the brand new heater has flawless and wrote a quote that was clear.
And late at night I found water gushing out of a pipe in the crawl space. Ford has who showed up again and a 24 hour emergency hotline. He stopped the leak very quickly and two days later him and a crew showed up to permanently fix the matter.
Scotty looked over the pipes, worth and pressure regulator around and beneath the home, which can be numerous decades old and recommended some fixes for products that were at-risk.

SO happy we discovered Fords pipes! Scotty has been out to the property a couple times and this last time really was just the best experience. We had a water bill that has been on your home indicating that a leak somewhere out of control. Scotty discovered that among these was a toilet and took his time to check all resources. We were happy but little did we know Scotty was likely to take the extra time to return and triple check everything else and he discovered another leak!! that is tiny Then carefully walked through the whole thing and helped explain everything he didn't isolate the leak came from. He was marginally early into the appointment which was amazing and he had been patient and knowledgeable. Surely will be contacting him for our plumbing requirements!

At its center my Airbnb guests called and I was having a dinner party on a Saturday night and were having a backed up toilet spewing material throughout the shower drain. What a mess. I called Ford's Pipes and they came out over the hour! Since I've been having issues with this drain, the drain was snaked by them and created some excellent tips. They were very knowledgeable. Great support and great to have their number.

We had come out for a few plumbing issues and to check our pressure regulator. He walked me through a lot of security things that I asked about, and changed our old pressure regulator. He is very good at describing things. We will have him out again for much more work that needs to be carried out.

This review is based on over a decade of adventures using Ford's Plumbing. I'm genuinely impressed by its people and this company. There's been a great deal of work done to the house by the prior owners (some of which were not good and needed to be repaired ). Ford's Plumbing offered very competitive prices, worked hard to diagnose the different issues and let us know how we ought to prioritize the jobs. Robert (the proprietor ) has cared about the standard of the team's service, and it has stood behind their job. I have had good experiences with everybody I have socialized with in the business so much - a shout out to Ryan and Reilly for helping people through a couple of plumbing emergencies! They should be recognized, when a firm goes above and beyond. I would give 10 stars if I could to them.

Our hot water heater went out over the weekend. Scotty showed up right away, evaluated the situation installed a new one Monday morning. Friendly!

We had a plumber from Ford's come and give us an estimate on a shower and bathroom restoration. I was told I had to replace the two fixtures which would cost $1,894.00 Our second opinion from Drains Unlimited stated we didn't need to replace , he could mend both. We paid them $405. Always get a second estimate!

The proprietor inspires the excellence instilled in every employee. I called since the warm water in my shower suddenly went cold, this once I had a tankless water heater set only one year ago (by another company). Imagine my distress. A fresh water heater breaks down after one year? I called Ford's and was fortunate enough to speak to the proprietor who seemed. The display was on so it did. Then he advised I turn on the kitchen to warm. The water turned warm. Then I had been advised to try out the shower and the water turned warm! Robert told me that my water heater is sensitive to water pressure and if the pressure is not large the heat won't turn on. I want to wash the shower head or buy a new shower head. Many companies would help a customer solve a problem? I urge Ford's Plumbing and Heating.

Lets be honest. . .having the demand for a plumber is never fun. Made what was a stressful situation involving various issues.
What started as a call to Ford's due to smelling some sewage under our guest room (after working with another plumbing firm that didn't have the issue solved), turned into a multi-part job over several weeks. Scotty was friendly and on-time. He had been upfront and honest with news he knew I did not need to listen (there were lots of issues discovered that needed fixing!) . He took pictures of the things needing repair so I could see the issues along with his quotes were fairly priced and comprehensive. I would highly recommend using Ford's.

Had a stoppage on the top floor bathroom. Called Ford's and they sent the plumber out ASAP to Scotty. He was thorough fixing the problem but taking the time to describe the situation and the reasons for his strategy . He even adjusted my water quantity for the toilet, which went beyond and above that which was absolutely required to repair it. My Angie's List voucher was also honored by them. Thanks for a great job!

Since moving into our current home 4 + years 18, We've utilized Ford's Plumbing multiple occasions. Being that it is an older house, we have had a range of issues, from the severe (replacing all waste lines) to the mundane (replacing a leaky kitchen faucet, our latest job). They have always been professional and responsive. We have always been happy with the standard of their job and are paying a premium, although they are not the cheapest option on the market.

Had a bad straight up in my kitchen sinks and water amounts just rose. Called and spoke on the phone who said he'd arrive within 90 mins and went over pricing ahead as well so that I knew what I was looking at price wise with Scotty. So everything was transparent, then when he arrived, he reviewed the pricing. He was incredibly friendly and professional and honest - would recommend again in a heart beat. And he resolved the matter Thanks again Scotty!

Scotty did a fantastic job. He helped me understand what caused the clog, comprehensive, and was speedy.

Guy was fine, still waiting for my inspection report. Will upgrade my recregarding its own quality.
I asked to get a quote on how much clean and to inspect my wall chimney. The secretary kept stating"flat fee of $89 to send our guy out and he'll call you before performing any job".
He explained it had been $125 or $129, can't remember.
Wish they would have told me on the telephone so that I could have continued comparing prices. Their rates aren't aggressive for exactly what this job entails. $115 was quoted by another man and I am convinced I could have found cheaper if I seemed a bit.

With the yelp reduction, it does make it priced.

We used them once and they were great to use and they solved our issue, charged us reasonably and told us if elective preventative steps we could take. A plumber came out and I wanted them another time a few months later and that he was straight-forward and honest about my dilemma and I really loved that and I enjoy this business and am pleased to recommend them. Plumbing costs cash. There are options of different plumbers out there- but those guys are nice and together and they do it. I'd call them again.

They ended up replacing the pipes beneath the ground of my house. They were quick, efficient while they did it and made sure to not dirty up the place. Because we've got a long standing connection, they're also constantly available and have even come back to do some jobs free of charge.
They and great service give competitive pricing. Reilly shows up on time, with a wonderful attitude and is always willing to explain exactly what he's doing to some laymen like myself so that I can avoid the issue later on.
Couldn't recommend them enough. I have even had the owner of this company come out to inspect the work and introduce himself. 5 stars proved to be a no brainer. If it would be allowed by yelp they would get 6!

Scotty is professional, personable, cleans up and consistently goes the additional mile to make sure we're happy. He's the best although I've had several plumbers over the years. So accommodating and puts the time to make sure it's done. Great plumber. Highly recommend.

Honest? Check check.

Rather than having me charge to get a job I felt this was their fault, at least in part, I talked to someone in Ford's who diagnosed the problem remotely. I made an appointment and Ryan and Dino came in and in seconds had the problem in hand. The prices are reasonable, they are terrific.
Reasonable. Check.

We recently moved to Culver City and had a leak in our renovated bathroom (Ford's didn't do that installation, that has been the builder ). Regrettably, the component, that was set up properly, was crap and out of guarantee.
What do you need from a plumber?
Honesty.
Efficiency.

I called Ford's yesterday because my wall heater wasn't working. Minutes later 11am, Scotty showed up. Big grin on his face and ready to help. He could not have been more helpful, showing me step by step what he was doing. He was immediately able to comprehend the problem and help figure out the solution. I never write reviews but I had to let everyone know he was. Ford's is my go to for any future issues.

Ford's has been our plumber for many years. Theymay come out over a day or two and're responsive, and Reilly is very efficient and knowledgeable. Ford's has stood behind their work and re-did all the pipes under our home: when we thought there was an problem, they even waived a service charge. (There was not.)
Excellent customer service and excellent work. Highly suggested.
