Hollywood Lock & Key

I was a hostage in Trader Joes in Silverlake. The authorities would not allow me to take my car in the lot Once I was released.
I got home but I wanted someone to open my own door because my keys had been taken from me from the hostage taker. I called this business. They arrived in minutes... I needed to prove the home was mine because my purse was gone.
However, these men did the task for an early hour in the afternoon in record time. Highly recommended... actually I'm calling them tomorrow for another job.

The locksmith she had been sending would assist the door opens but make a key.
He asked him if he would open the door that he started to try and all a sudden with all the rudest attitude ceased and dangerously and left very abruptly.
The dispatcher, provided all of the info that was necessary, stated that they may start the dood and produce the key but after the locksmith that had been very impolite could not and didn't even open the door.
Worst experience ever.
Within a half and an hour later, the locksmith took time couldn't make the key because of an advice we really gave and repeated to the dispatcher!
We definitely strongly recommend to steer clear of Hollywood Lock and Key who wasted two hours of our day.
Rude, incompetent and unprofessional.
Indeed, we gave the dispatcher on the phone all of the necessary information and had to repeat them several times actually.
In a way it was really a blessing since we ended up calling LOUIE LOCKSMITH who delivered someone that got here in less than 20minutes. Their locksmith wasn't only fast but also extremely nice, capable, professional and helpful. On top of that, they charged us less than half the price of what Hollywood Lock and Key went to.

I was stranded in downtown LA and AAA sent me this angel from AAA his title is Zion. He was professional and very comforting. Thank you Hollywood lock & key for an support. I would recommend you to anyone I know.

I locked my keys in the Back and AAA got my Issue fixed fast I would use them again and had this company come to Assist they were very fast to come out

This place was dispatched by AAA and simply covers apron 150 of those, although it was 230 bucks $65 of that I needed to pay out of pocket as my assistance. It was expensive but it was fast and painless my door was opened by him without any damage or obstacle. Very impressed. Also notable was the uniform and workout ANDRES was pressed and polished along with his van was as organized as a instrument tray that is surgeons.
This inspection is for the Keys not the tow trucks, I believe I've seen trucks around the area and I can't recommend people however, the locksmith ANDRES is quickly specialist and has a sense of urgency that is would challenge any ER nurse.

I've been a loyal client to Hollywood Lock & Key for many years. Buildings are owned by me and constantly need help with locks for my tenants. My experience with researchers have always been nice and they are prompt and professional.

Shady company . We were advised 150 to open our door instead of just telling us it would be 180, but on the receipt he scribbled a extra 30 to get a service charge. To me that's way too expensive just to pop up a doorway, go elsewhere if it is a lock that's locked FYI charges 250, and he said

Within thirty minutes, the NICEST guy dragged to the place and went to work. I wish I would have gotten my namebecause not only was quick, he had a great sense of comedy and ended on'until next time' which won't be quite as true and made me laugh. Thanks a lot!

This was a very blustery particular evening, together with the Santa Ana winds cranked up high, probably on purpose to spite me. I allow the guard in the parking lot know of what I did-as I wasn't loitering-so not to get in trouble. By now I had called AAA and inform them of my stupidity.
At Gelson's I had been doing some simple searching on a Monday evening in December * when I went to load my groceries into my brow. I would like to think we've all had this moment where we place our car keys as the door opens. . .perhaps it is just me, but this was what I had to deal with.

Andres H. was outside to my car fast and was friendly and efficient - a total pro. I am rather impressed. The process was easy though recreating this car key can be complex. I am quite grateful AAA delivered who they sent... Good service.

Only had Jason out of Hollywood Lock & Key come out (within one hour on a Sunday) and fully saved us. He left a new secret that was chipped and he did it fast. We wouldn't hesitate to use them and are grateful for this service!

It's really said that they treat some people particularly a senior citizen such as myself, this way.
I had just finished shopping at the grocery store and that I had put everything off.
While I didn't like to have to use two keys, I was just glad it wasnt any worse.
Is that I am not being treated fairly.
They were paid by me and that I believe they need to make it.
I paid $175.00 and that I was told their work was ensured so if I had any problems simply to call them up.
He also took the key that was old and said he could repair it so while it wouldnt start the vehicle, I really could use it to lock and unlock the maintenance .

Several different people listened to my problem but I couldn't get anywhere.
That was the day and Saturday afternoon Sunday, the key that is older feel again in my palms.
I really feel sorry for a business that has this kind of attitude toward some of its customers.
I put the key in the ignition to start the car and it fell apart.
I called the Auto Club and they said they would send a locksmith out.
I learned my lesson the hard way, however, though it may be a large inconvenience, I will wait until my locksmith individual is availableI and have him take care of the problem.

This is my first time working with a locksmith and allow me to tell you Jay in Hollywood Lock & Key left a lasting impression. Not only did he arrive in my place faster than the ETA I had been awarded by AAA, he gave me access to my car in less than 3 minutes! He asked me several questions about the manual functionalities of my X5's door locks (and mentioned a few common problems with it as well) and once he had sufficient advice he got to work. I'm extremely satisfied with my experience with Hollywood Lock & Key that should I need a locksmith later on I know precisely who to call! Thank you Jay!!

Short narrative, was likely to work but my key'd bankrupt. After calling AAA in no time they delivered Hollywood lock had my key in no time and key came in a period that was fast. The guy J was real great and professional service in general.

My narrative with this company is to long! To describe I am understand more worse then when I began without them, they con you attempt to up sell you even when they get $150 from AAA they charge an extra $145 so that they appear about $295 smh for 1 key and also damaging my door lock mechanism and not taking responsibility for their job calling me a mooch and stating that I'm not knowing or being fair even though they were the final ones to work in my own door locks and ignition today I am stuck and not able too unlock my door from the interior due to their irresponsibility and lack of professionalism, Zion is a rude and arrogant person claims to have 35 decades of experience of being a locksmith and customer service but you can not insult your customers and claim they're trying to develop due to their irresponsibility so I highly do not recommend Hollywood lock and key because they are not dependable and will not claim responsibility for damaging your property.

Worst company to deal with. You're better off going with a different company that will provide you a price that is much better. We had to phone them. Very expensive company too. Rep came out and was as if he hated his job, very irritated. Do not go through them. Was due to my AAA. Go through a different corporation!

Yesterday my car broke down - The key Wouldn't turn in the ignition, and That I could Not start it, so I called AAA -- they send a locksmith out of key and Hollywood lock .... I see a van pull into the garage, It is another locksmith.

Me:"I don't have that type of cash - I don't even have work. Are you certain it can not be fixed?"
Me: I think this guy is playing with me or doesn't know what he's doing. He states it costs 240 to fix my ignition, and it can not be repaired. Would you assist me?
Long story short, the guy FIXES my ignition, turns my key, begins my vehicle, takes 20 dollars and hands me a card.
0 stars. What bullshit. I'm offended and feel highly taken advantage of.
AAA locksmith: Firsthe suggests I leave my career in medicine (I'm applying to med school today ) to become an insurance guy, gloating how he will make 100K/year in just two decades, when I need to study for years and will continue to have no cash. I say that I want to be a doctor so that I can help people, but he insists on showing my bullshit exemptions; I did not know I called AAA for an infomercial....

Had a problem with my ignition. I was prepared to pay $350 minus the 100. Manny shows up and tells me"let's not be so quick to invest your money." Long story short. Manny created a new secret and showed me how to make the work that was key. Paid nothing, as a result of Manny's honesty. Stand up man, Manny is the MAN.

I had a company send a technician to come out from Reseda Lock Smith Company and come out and they took over an hour. They came at 12:15 pm and I talked to them in 11am and left at 2pm. And couldn't open my car. But I called these guys and they came in under 15 minutes! Cut my key and began my car!! In less than 30 minutes!! I strongly suggest this location!! Quick friendly and efficient. Not simply because he came but he gave me no talk about cost or run . Flat rate-came-he saw-he defeated! Highly recommended and A approved vendor!! is Triple Good job!!

I'm giving 3 stars because the tech I dealt with was wonderful. Very individual and did his very best to help.
The shipment, is a story that is different. The lady answers"hello" so I'm not even sure where I'm calling. She's short, very rude, and uncurteous. I've tried telling her several times the key isn't working, she argues with me and tells me not to call back. Really?? I only paid you $225 to get a key that does not work but I'm not permitted to call you?
Spend your cash on a much better locksmith. Beware, these people are connected with AAA, so be certain you avoid then if AAA is helping you.
