Jack's Lock & Key

Their doorway was difficult to lock and I was dogsitting for somebody and I ended up bending the crucial and it had been my only copy. I took it to the tiny shack in the HK2 plaza that reproduces keys. The lady said she could not fix it, broke it and looked in my key. Went to Lowe's and they could not do it so that they suggested that people come here. I didn't care at this time although the lady behind the counter didn't say much, not the best customer support. I was hoping to obtain a copy of the secret and she actually managed to copy the broken secret, no issue. It had been 2 but gave her $ 3 because my life was actually saved by her.

$35 just to look up a code and then cut on a key... too pricey IMO. I wanted it cut and just had purchased trader code and the secret already. Did the programming myself after.

I went there on Friday September 21st 5:15 PM to inquire if they could replicate a laser cut auto key. Lady behind the counter was very rude and inpatient to answer my questions concerning my choices that are distinct. Their business is good that they don't have enough time for cutting a key, or it was Friday final time and she wished to get away. Either way that would be my final stop .

I ordered a Particular key to Get a Cupboard That I Needed to pay in advance (by credit card )when placing the Purchase ( $25.00 plus tax)

She started telling me payment evidence should be produced by me and that I advised her that I was not going to waste my time and asked that I dealt with when I placed the order.
Now I went to pick the key up and the clerk informs me it wasn't compensated
She here's the FUNNY PART and discovered the credit card slip, she says that the. Key cost $60.00 much tho I had been quoted $25.00 when I placed the order.
I advised her that I had paid by credit card once I placed the order.
These people shouldn't deal with the General Public,
She insisted that it was not paid and I advised her she ought to check her records and verify payment.

I was disappointed that they didn't want to provide service and also drove distance to go to this place. I'd have been fine if they had said they made a mistake but instead they made me feel as if they didn't want my company.
I called way in advance and clearly explained to the girl in the location that I wanted a key made and designed for my automobile (gave her the vehicle specs). She didn't want to assist me As soon as I arrived. She stated that they did do not make those type of keys which is odd because I'd confirmed a few days ago.... I feel as if she was being selective with the sort of clientele she render services to.

Regardless of the bad reviews, came here because I had to get my keys replicated and it is close to my house.
I can see why reviewers think the woman behind the counter is still racist, but I don't think she is. Rude? But she has things done fast and I am not stopping in to get a dialogue, so I don't really care.
Would come back for rates and the quick work.
A house key duplication was $2.35 before taxation and my previous auto key duplication was $6.00 before taxation. In and out within 5 minutes!

Before calling the lock and key of Jack, I called 10 different locksmiths and I wish I would not called them . The nice lady was the only one in 30 miles with the ideal blanks for the Yamaha FZ 07 motorcycle. The store was larger than anticipated and organized. I lost my sole motorcycle key so I couldn't create a backup but the lock of Jack managed to undo cut me a key right in my ignition and seat lock I supplied them. All this was done in a hour. I will go when needing anything lock and key and am thankful! Thank you a ton - Jake

As an Asian that grew up in an all White Rowland Heights, I understand our civilizations tend to transform us to paranoid, shy sensitive, prideful, filial piety. Whenever someone gives you a direct response - they're not being racist, they're giving you an immediate response. . .it's American civilization. This is the reason why the Bamboo Ceiling exists. Conquer it, brethren, and ye shall triumph!
Back when Rowland Heights' town did not have a lick of Chinese posted on a single hint. That was a huge deal for us asians when Little Bean and Hankook market opened up.
And for all of the reviewers pulling out the race card - please.
Anyways; I've probably had dozens of keys made here. I'm glad that these guys are still in business. And I'm thankful the Winchell's donut store is somehow. . .some way. . .surviving.
Back after the Starbucks around Puente Hills mall was a Music Plus where you would get the TLC record. Back when Kenny, Buddy, and Ursula would song my bicycle.
Back after Vons was on Colima, Hong Kong Plaza was a bowling alley, Banana Bay used to be a cheap buffet - and particular strip mall was faded brown and dying. . .back if there were gas stations on Fullerton and Colima - 76, Exxon, and Texaco.
The days when the old Barnes & Noble on Colima and Albatross used to be a Fuddrucker's in which my old guy and I would eat lunch on Sundays and I'd visit the old comic book store across the parking lot to pick up the latest issue of the Terminator.

You know what, after reading reviews I guess I could partly concur with what others say . Customer support is here and it is sad since it appears to be a mom and pop kind store. I mean, the girl working wasn't exactly rude but she wasn't friendly. They must be doing something right though because this place was here for many years (over 20 years). I acquire copies made so I can't give a great deal of review on other goods. I came here after visiting Walmart off Azusa and Gale because their keys did not work. The keys were copies. I enjoy so I expect service here enhances and stays open, supporting local shops.

There is an hint towards the right side of this counter which states you an also get your automobile remote important fobs here. Since they don't provide that service it's really a hint that was put up.
I arrived to have 2 regluar door keys. Overall price was a whopping $5.12 after tax for 2 keys which took abt 20 seconds to cut. The same results can be attained for Everwhere else and with much greater service. The lady acts like I owe the world for cutting on on my keys at a premium, although I remember that it is a few cents more at this institution.
I really like to support mom and pop shops, but my experience now is simply not worth recommending this here location.
The serivce supplied by the lady was subpar and communication is nonexistent.

Had to get a new key made for the vehicle. I walked in told her I had a copy of my key that the"large women" only stuck out her hand made to get the job done. She lacks communicating and friendliness. And sounds like shes forced to work there. The owner must have more better CUSTOMER SERVICE clerks... First impressions leave a big impact. My impression is that I recommend this place. I would not want friends and family serviced and treated .

Always fast service, they have to find items. Of the locks were keyed by them into my house utilizing just one key. Many lock systems compared to everything You'd find in lowes or a Home Depot

I called today to get an estimate for our garage door. When I spoke to a woman she was very rude when I was asking questions. I inquired if a new key had to be left and she said"well I can't magically open it" I wouldn't enjoy them at my property if someone is like that over the telephone. The number I called was 909-594-4210.

I locked myself out of my home Jack's was called by & for support. I was content. Due to my transgression, I didn't realize that I possessed a secret which was capable of opening the entrance. No support was demanded, door opened immediately. If I was required to cover the locksmith supported my obligation, & the $ 75 as mentioned, I inquired. I kept my end of the deal & paid, but I felt like I had been scammed. I am completely to blame, but this company is completely"Money Hungry" with no sympathy for the clientele. They had been less than two miles away from my residence & I would have been ecstatic to cover half or meet at a"happy medium". DO NOT support this business, they're crooks!

I refuse to do some more business with this company because of this woman!
The obese woman who helped me (helped previously too ) was not friendly, not pleasant and almost rude. She's an attitude problem that has to be adjusted at this date and age where customer support is essential to stay in operation.
