I've been using this business for many decades. They support two homes for me personally - Sherman Oaks and Culver City. They are professional, prompt and the office does an superb job.
On September 15, 2019 and September 10 The website manager Natasha Bialuski in Heather Village Condos in Culver City, CA Place a letter and a bill for $180.00 in my door by John White Plumbing and Rooter Connection. Natasha said in her letter a service call was made and John White Plumbing and Rooter connection came to my device on a service call on 7/15/2019. I never contacted this plumbing firm nor did a plumber out of this business. My first problem is that the invoice didn't have my name on it. Why is the website manager Natasha Bialuski taking it to send a letter and statement by a plumbing co. to me? Is that her job? No inquiries were made. Just a threatening letter.
Do not use John White Pipes - they did a bait and switch on me- quoted a cost and then tried to charge me more when they got (and they were overdue.) When I called the office to straighten it out and reschedule, the office worker showed no concern. She said that is our prices, we're probably not the company for you, and hung me up. All because I asked her, cordially and very reluctantly, to honor the price I had been given by her. The customer is seemingly never right at John White's, and they're uninterested in trying to make things right.
I stayed home all Sunday expecting the plumber to come and fix my crisis. I cancelled after him and 8 hours showing up. Had I known he would never come, I could have had yet another plumber come in the morning. This teaches me not to trust Yelp reviews. I only picked this company because they had 4+ stars.
I predicted at 9:06am today (Sunday) for emergency plumbing service. The plumber (Luis, I believe ), called me back in 20 minutes to tell me he could be here by 2pm. At 3pm he wasn't here so I predicted. He told me he is stuck at a different job and will telephone me 30 minutes until he leaves. At 5:30 I call and ask why he hasn't left and I am told he is still working to clear another tasks pipes. He has no idea when he could get to me.
I am so happy that John White's Rooter Connection sent outside Israel to take care I have been having with my toilet sink/tub. Israel was capable, courteous and punctual. When there was a little leakage under the sink he removed and he didn't waste any time and dried everything! And after he was done it was replaced by him . It took over an hour to allow him to wash the two drains and then replace the"P" trap under the sink. There were all the free flowing drains after he left the evidence he had ever been. Highly recommended.
I was supplied a 2 hour window for my appointment along with a professional, Israel came within half an hour.
When the rooter apparatus pulled floss up, I asked him that puts dental floss down the sink? He explained that individuals in rentals flush everything and that the sink converge under the building.
Israel was very thorough if he cleaned up and you would not have understood from looking at the ground or toilet basin, that any work has been done.
Definitely, the plumbing related experience I've ever had!
He put a covering to protect the floor and got to work. The drain cleared from my next story unit.
I STRONGLY advise against using this company and after reading other reviews on here, encourage you to browse the many 1-star reviews concerning overpriced labor expenses and unresponsiveness, like I experienced both (and for ABSOLUTELY NO real repairs - as you will read in my first review, another company I called came and done the entire repair - a leaky hose in the machine for $130). John White's Rooter Connection charged me $115 for coming to tell me that they could not perform a repair that they had advised that they could. Waste of time and money and exactly the kind of dreadful service I hope out of experiencing, I can prevent Yelpers.
Providing an upgrade so that anyone contemplating using this corporation can be cautioned based in my experience - as explained in my first review, I had been advised on the telephone, before the service rep arriving out that this corporation would have the ability to assist with a washing machine leak (even if the problem was internal, as I proposed that it seemed to be). Though the rep spent under a couple moments at my condo before informing me that"this was not something they could help with since it's internal," I received a statement for about $115. I called the company and spoke to explain why I believed this was unreasonable, and I never did, though I was confident I would find a call back after he spoke with the owner. I got a letter from a collections service for the invoice. I spoke against the collections company to tell them that I disputed the charge, but following the collections firm contacted John White's Rooter Connection, the sets firm rep stated that they wouldn't agree to reduce the cost by any quantity and that they rarely dealt with firms that were so ridiculous.
First of all, Jennifer is wonderful to deal with. Very professional and the full firm does work. I am happy with my brand new faucet in the kitchen sink. It works great! Was professional and quite nice and cleaned up. I believed they did a superb job. For my plumbing needs from now on I will contact them. Nice to see people that are seasoned doing a job that is fantastic!
Dan is the MAN! Came here super quick to aid with a leak. Didn't waste any time to make an exact diagnosis and explained everything. Super nice guy to boot. Thanks for great service!
Oswaldo arrived just on time, was educated and productive. Top notch skill and professionalism . He took great care of my house. I noticed he was careful to lay his tools on a as not to scratch my bathroom floor tiles. I was impressed and have not ever seen that level of attention. After going to a different outfit which attempted to recommend a rehaul that cost thousands and botched the job I arrived these guys! The congestion was literally fixed by him very quickly. Highly recommend these guys and esp Oswaldo.
John White's Rooter Connection was working for decades with the 5th and Montana HOA. They always do a great job for us. In addition, I have them wash my bathroom pipes and come indoors as well as cleaning the building pipes. The workman was considerate, friendly, professional and he did a great job. I will certainly use them again for our HOA and also for my home. Thanks for doing a wonderful job!
John's plumber did the job for the mainline of this building, but left the kitchen sink of those components clogged. He hangs up the phone when I tried to explain to him that they had been related, also charges an extra $103 for correcting his plumber Manny's defects. (he wasn't on site and did not know Manny did the work).
John's attitude of not accepting responsibility makes me afraid of using his services.
John White's Rooter Connection is number one for many plumbing issues!! Mr Whites team are professional and polite. They wash up superbly and do an amazing job, they always offer you the options that are best! Thank you!

1. Sent two guys when it was a 1 person job
Their solution: Gave me $10 off to the parts (that I purchased ). Didn't adjust cost. The owner corrected the hours into the correct amount and stated he"discounted" even understand that it was their error.
Ensure you watch their work before they leave, and sign the invoice.
I gave them the chance to go above and beyond, I recognize that accidents happen, but only ended up paying 3x in money and time cleaning the mess up or comprehension in management.
4. It caused leak to the garage and failed up sold on some water heater work and soon after the pipes were shifted. Owner denied that it was their fault.

Experts: on installing a laundry box, Team was fine and did great work.
Daniel was an amazing help. We had water leaking from our toilets, which constantly ran causing our water bills into sky rocket. We went to a few plumbing stores with our flappers. Daniel knew and also the issues causing the issues. Daniel worked efficiently and effectively at a very reasonable cost. Definitely will use again if desired!
It is a rare event to find a plumber who's professional and trustworthy. I have a plumbing crisis or even things like drains, his men and John are there!
They're always with cost etc. and they're always excellent to their customers! I've sent a few individuals to them and they concur that their service was above and beyond what they anticipated. Highly suggested!
I've used John White Plumbing and Rooter Link for repairs within the duration of 8 years in 3 different homes we owned. They have been great. They are reactive, Jennifer who schedules service is great, they do a fantastic job.
These guys are experts. They get there, when you need them. They never say such as some do that they'll see you in 4 times between 4 and 8. They will either come the day you call or the morning after. Their technicians aim to please and are respectful.
Thankful for these men! I will not even get that the other rooter company never cleared my lineup and attempted to pull. These men came out and all established!! No replacement of 51/2 hours or pipes ! Totally honest, tidy and productive!
