Would certainly call out again in the future!
Located Pipeworx through HomeAdvisor - workplace had a clogged sink and we needed a garbage disposal installed ASAP.
Communicative - as they headed out to us, got a telephone , another telephone when he was coming back after picking up parts/supplies, and gave us a thorough rundown that is final was done.
Tony gave us quote and did a review, came in and got to work. Super friendly and easy to use. The job was done!
And this was after one of their plumbers came last week to"fix" our 2 clogged bathrooms issue. The issue was. It fixed as 1 hour after the 2 bathrooms were still having problems. My wife tried contacting Miguel this week no less than 5x, leaving voicemails etc, but no response. We would anticipate that if we paid to be done and it isn't fixed, that they would be responsive in rectifying the situation. No sir. So I started after 3 days and 3 tries I finally got a hold of him calling Miguel ; he said he got the voicemails of my wife but purposely do not reach back! (They already got our money after all!) . Now, and therefore we scheduled for another appointment and like I stated at the start. . .still waiting but I'm not hopeful that anybody would show up.
It's 1:30pm and I am still awaiting the piper worx plumber to come. My spouse got a text that he'll be here in 20min; this text was 40min after the 2 hour window. I don't especially like spending my Saturday's waiting for the plumber that may or may not show up...
Have been very happy with all the work and used these guys several times they have done . Heck it couldn't have gone any smoother and they did a total re-pipe on our house. They have also done work for us for example installing a new water heater and replacing our kitchen sink and fittings. The latest issue is that we hired them to perform a camera review of our sewer line which was cool.
All n all they have they have been very no-nonsense whenever they have been out here into the house. Would recommend.
I hired them to do a redo in my bathroon, re-routing sewer lines along with some water, persuading them to do the remodel and including a shower and tiling. Not simple. It was a fiasco. Miguel rarely showed up in the site, his employees didn't show up when they were anticipated in 9, came in at 1pm, leaving at 3 occasionally when they were behind their job. In fairness, I shifted my design and they were pleased to oblige, but the execution wasn't up to the price of the marble and expensive materials. I'm not rich, but I saved up to install the materials. They appeared knowledgeable enough, what's pricey marble, if you are careless when handling it? Or not quantifying correctly (they had to re-do the toilet breaking the marble to reposition it, which caused me to have to purchase more marble from precisely the same lot, which put me with no toilet for a different week, or not quantifying the medication cabinet correctly so that the 1800 unit I picked is currently not based on the custom vanity I had made. The mosaic flooring isn't easy to lay. . .but they ought to have recognized that. . .as it today has uneven tiles that I see bad and everyday grouting in places. And then get this, they did not seal the grout. Within a week the grout came up in the shower and mildew was building in the cracks. I just have done drying, scrubbing, chipping out grout prior to grouting and sealing it myself.
The toilet is actually gorgeous, and I will attest that going through 5 renovations in my personal own life, nothing is ever perfect, but they have been close to having a show-piece for a satisfied customer along with their portfolio. . .but there's level of maintenance of installation and finishes that has been missing. Guys all. . .but in the end you want your stuff taken good care of and nicely executed and somewhat on time (5 weeks took 9). I wouldn't ever use them again, as boss and a builder, Miguel would disappear with out returning a telephone or checking in. . .he stated he was ill, but as a former business owner, you find a way to allow your customer know what is happening.
My job with these guys started out nicely enough. Miguel was considerate and helpful. . .but then it all descended in the depths... We hired Pipeworx into repipe and fix our building water leak. We decided to go ahead and replace the water and sewer lines in some of the building. A note. . .this is a high-end building in a costly area. Our building was constructed in the 50's and can be very strong. I discovered hearing my neighbor take a shower and flush his toilet. . .turns out they replaced our iron sewer lines with lines that were . They were a whole lot more dumb, so we had to have them come back and put in iron. . .thing is, we were not notified that they weren't likely to put in iron, so they need to have asked us and told us the difference in cost and sound. They put in the iron. Once you are in a building, there was also the dilemma of turning off the water without 24 hour notice, it's standard to give everyone a days notice of water.
I was coined"picky" with a smirk at times. I'm picky, but not in a clinical way lol. The worker and his wife were kind and helpful, the really wanted to do a good job, but ultimately much was abandoned shoddily done and they did not seemingly have his or her boss' support. Caveat, Should you utilize them!
A different plumber who suggested I get care recommended to me miguel at Pipeworx Culver City. So I called Miguel. Miguel is professional, skilled, knowledgable! Thank you Miguel for your help! I feel better knowing I'm taking care of my property. Thank you so much.
We have a triplex and had a sewer line which broke. We live on a mountain along with the pipe slopes. The break has been near the front retaining wall. I had 3 companies give quotes, among which included ripping out the retaining wall, rod-iron fence and front yard using a backhoe (not a good option, whatsoever ).
Out of the 3 companies had the best solution with least quantity of trauma to the yard. We felt as though they had the best solution, were confident in the fix and were fair. There was interruption of plumbing use! Repairs like this aren't affordable! But you need it done problems later! We recommend Pipeworx, particularly for plumbing repairs! Thank you Paul and Miguel!
I think Miguel the director for the most part attempts to do his best but overall the service is poor. Received a water heater which never worked and still having difficulties. The girl never called me three times to confirm an appointment. Im currently waiting for my technician to come through before 11am without a call back. Taking some time off work to wait for all these people and they are more than a mile down the road. In my water heater was not under their warranty I'd go elsewhere. No one is on precisely the same page although the techs they have sent over the years have been nice enough.
There was a scheduling snafu for its Monday coming of Tony but I am giving them and that which I appreciated a 5 stars is that Tony - the plumber who did the job, completed the job. Until the job was completed, they apologized and followed up with us.
They managed the excellently and also followed up to make sure the job was authorized. They are being referred by me to two of my friends. Good luck with your job!
I discovered Pipeworx via HomeAdvisor.com We received 3 quotations for the job that had to be redone to code onto a property we just purchased. Miguel, was quick to come to look at the undertaking. They followed up with a detailed written quote and contract. The quote was quite important for record keeping to document the work completed. They were responsive and that I felt that they understood that I had a deadline to comply and find the job permitted in a particular timeline.
We contacted a plumbing setup dilemma to be helped with by Miguel. He was quite pleasant and appeared eager to perform the job. Since he agreed to perform the job, he has been impossible to reach. His mobile phone inbox is complete. He fails to yield text messages. He fails to return calls left in the office or emails. Sadly, although we wanted to work with him after two months of trying we will have to find somebody else.
I had to get a new water heater as well as my neighbor had only used Pipeworx plumbing because of his kitchen remodel. I managed to get a quote over the phone and called. I tried phoning my plumber but couldn't get a straight answer. I understand that some plumbing issues need to be inspected to provide a price, however a water heater seemed fairly standard. So I chose to give an attempt to Pipeworx.
The experience was straight ahead. The plumber showed up when they said he'd, he had the water heater , and he hauled the old one off. What's working and I am delighted with the buy. What I love the most, is currently obtaining the price over the phone and paying that price that is same .
Pipeworx has done pipes work on the home at least 5 or 4 occasions. They've repiped our home and came outside for maintenance on our drains. They have set up a water heater. Our home is old, so coming here can't be fun, or easy, yet I have not had a issue with their work. They get it done, and get it done quickly (a good thing, imo). They've given us quotes and have provided service to get things up & running over the years. Give a call now for whatever in the pipes realm to this business, they can handle it, for SURE!
I came to the house, I was there alone till later in the afternoon when one of his guys showed up to find some tools they had abandoned here.
This fiasco comes to a head after a couple days to get a good idea what is going on when I call right back Paul. I begin by trying to tell him my wifes worries, he attempts to interrupt I firmly ask him to let me finish, and he celebrities shortly after that in a rant about"are you goona F****** me? Your F****** me aren't. you.
We had to locate a plumber in addition to other to go ready and through the house for my family and were in northern California.
My spouse was but had broke her hand, so I was handling it.
She move on to clarify that he basically bugged out after she asked him a few questions the contractor that was that day point lots of bizarre things out he watched.
When I talked to Paul he explained things could be finished, cleaned up and disposed of.We had negotiated a reconstruct of the heating and some odds and ends, I headed back up north because I had to finish our move. I told him to get everything done on the timeline we had discussed. And figure. He looks believable explanations as to why things were in the state they were in.
This continues in an text message where he calls into question my spouse and my quality and integrity. It continued over the next few days threatening a mechanics lean.
He new a Restoration company that managed to coordinate with and handle for us.
Now we had paid up till the end when my spouse realized how far, even things form the earlier contracts had not been finished and we were in dispute, I never said we would not cover, but I did need to speak about what had been achieved and was moving on.
There seemed to something not finished, and a number of things that had been promised ( modest favors) had not been done.
We eventually get into our house the day after Christmas. But before we proceed it, we find that things are not as they ought to be, 100 year old timber is been cut into in places and then recut ( not individuals who measure twice and cut once.) Wood paneling that was old is gone destroyed, rather than replaced. ( leaving our house vulnerable. It seems some things look little off, he vanishes, , and if my wife attempts to talk about these things with Paul Pipeworxs' owner who's also the head plumber and onsite.
The first time I could down to LA was November around thanksgiving. The majority of the contracts ought to have been finished.
Turns out the first day if they were supposed to begin a water main had burst. We believed it was fantastic timing that the plumber who went to help us get working kitchen and bathrooms an deal with a few leaks, went to be there to help us.
For ten days I was at the house, and for less then 3 of these was anybody around before 10-11 and days not till after 3. And just about 6 days was there being work being done. Appear to be a few things that should have been done, had not been finished.
The settlement will be updated by me on this matter.
Long story short basically it seemed like great guarantees were made, he could speak like he was a 5 star plumber, who loved to do the work and went to give us this for a sneak. However he needed stress, and hounding to after the first couple weeks to find out what went on.
Lack of clean up across the way was squander that is lunch and aggravating all over the levels of the house, was a problem. .
Employing a review on HomeAdvisor.com and here on yelp, I called these guys and ordered from them to meet us shorlty once we receive the house.
Near the end of October of 2013 we took ownership of a Victorian-craftsman from 1905. It was rough, and our funding to work it were modest.
This is the second time around that I have used Pipeworx Plumbing. . .Fantastic support! Had a problem with our shower. Sam solved it in no time - price that was very good and simple!
I have written before I had about Pipeworx at a time when the business was clearly having staffing problems. Miguel made good on my issues. He purchased and added a whole fireplace set up. The problems that we had were made up for by him, and I will call him when I need a plumber.
Someone from Pipeworx left a message for me two days after the appointment and watched my review. He cried to the"miscommunication," claimed he never obtained my messages, also provided me 50% off my next snaking service. I love the gesture, but it doesn't make up for a wasted Saturday morning. And the failure to take responsibility for a voice mail system that is wonky is not a terribly appealing feature in a business in this way.
. .Nobody showed up during the window. . .They did not even bother to call me to reschedule. . .very unprofessional...
I Had a few miscellaneous plumbing projects done in My Home - put in a new kitchen faucet
- fix bathroom
- replace my garbage disposal
I called 3 different companies, and decided to go with Pipeworx Plumbing. They were able to provide me the price on the telephone - and stuck to it when they did the job and arrived. I got in and out of my house and enjoyed the plumber. I will definitely call them.
They relined the pipe. I never even heard of'Relining". 4 additional firm's tried to rob me blind with digging trenches and all sort of week long tasks.
The relining cost me half the cost and it was done in 2 days. Before the job was done I phoned my dad to ensure the job was up and up..It ended up good. I dealt with a women at Pipeworx, Janna she was put on, no hidden fee's or some other BS.
Extra star for the guys. Well they weren't the"odor good plumbers" but they were shirtless in my yard for 2 days. Didn't mind mixing a couple of extra pitchers of ICE TEA if you understand what I mean.
So my yard tree's roots were eating right through the pipe. .
These guys explained back at the days pipes were made of clay. What? Clay? What do you mean I asked. The sole clay I ever worked was back in the afternoon I had a guy who was somewhat of an artist and well, remember that scene from"ghost". . Yeah well, I am certain that you get the drift...
Ok here's the offer.
Apparently roots can eat throughout pipes. Who is to understand. I didn't. How do a root eat?
I pulled them. .
Pipeworx was the 3rd plumber I called - first one never reacted to voice message; second one only schedules visits in the morning (!) . Pipeworx consented afternoon. Called to reschedule to Saturday day. Sam did the job to unclog the drain showed up on time, and left everything in great form. Drain now works. I would certainly call Pipeworx profit.
We had a plumbing problem in our office toilet this morning and I had been tasked with finding a plumber. I found them called and got a quote that was fantastic. A plumber was sent by them within about an hour and a half. The ceremony was great and the price was fair. I'd call them again.
