All was done with no fanfare and quickly when we got to my vehicle and my key. There wasn't any upsell, and I felt like I'd wandered into not just an perfect business, but a place where human beings have been treated with fantastic respect.
Facing me, a woman was insisting that she had been promised a key for $3.50 and Demetrio said it would be a dollar more. He clarified he had made an error on the price and clarified that it was a Yale key she looked to duplicate. The woman was disordered and moved with Demetrio five occasions over the same scenario, although this in itself could be not the things of play. He stayed patient, kind, apparent; he didn't raise his voice, and finally she understood. I stood there, not irritated at her or annoyed my key was about to take more: I admired his patience and kindness, which are infrequent in business.
I will not go anywhere else, although I don't know whether I will have reason to see Willie and Demetrio any time soon. They deserve all this praise and more.
Willie and demetrio do not need my media, but I need to share it, since this encounter is correct. Some businesses are efficient; kind humane customer support is offered by others: both are stared at by Key Star. I'd found them called to see if they could make a duplicate transponder key for the vehicle. Demetrio graciously assured me that he can, we discussed price (less than half what the dealer needed ) and I came over. It's not a place that is dramatic, although there is a new sofa. However, what impressed me almost beyond words was the seriousness of the approach of Demetrio.

I called Key Star to repair or replace a lock on my apartment's door. He'd arrive a bit but was apologetic. He recommended it is replaced by me, upon seeing how outdated the lock was. Honest because he checked the very old deadbolt on the door and recommended I leave this one alone for now. The work was done efficiently and professionally. Friendly support.

AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING Service!!!!! Went in later Nextdoor recommended them. I had been searching to help replace a patio lock which wasn't standard. I'd reached out it was a total nightmare. Demetrio ordered a distinct locks to see what he could replace my old one with and was beneficial. Willie set up the new lock with a couple alterations to fit the door flawlessly. I could not have been happier with the patience and service they provided me. They go above and beyond for their customers (They drove all the way to Brooklyn to help me out!) Lock 10, had a slight problem with my front door and Willie was the best. He was very professional and neat, called me until he arrived and also fixed the problem. Would recommend. Cost is reasonable

With respect to this deadbolts that had to be installed, I wanted them in a particular finish to match the preexisting hardware and Demetrio didn't possess that particular one in stock in the store, so he arranged them right away and came back the very next day to set up. . After spending long afternoons working on my purchase, Demetrio still took some time--without my asking him to do so--to double check with me which I had been satisfied with the work on every door and every key worked with every lock, to ensure I had no difficulties before he left. It was very much appreciated by means of reassurance although unnecessary!
Located after reading the reviews on Yelp and picked Key Star, and the support was superb! Demetrio was easy to reach and flexible with scheduling in the time I called.
Demetrio arrived punctually and immediately wrote down quite clearly all of the things I needed done (simply moved into a house with a ton of doors with double vanities ) and had been great about giving me pricing and options that could fit in my budget. He started the work right away and was professional, and very neat and clean even when sawing into two of the doors to set up deadbolts. He was also quite friendly and didn't mind that my father chose to hang out and talk him up while he had been functioning (extra points for being nice for my father !) .

Excellent support!! I called the number from the proprietor and a list. He had been on a service call and said he would call me completed. He did just that and let me know he would check to ensure he had the secret.

After arriving at the store, he checked the key and went through the process of synching using automobile.

Emergency situation resolve by Demetrio! My Honda car key cracked and the digital portion of this secret went missing. My car refused to start. Fortunately I found Key star locksmith, since they had excellent reviews on yelp so I gave them a telephone number. Demetrio was able to make me a secret and resolve the situation inside another 20-30 minutes and arrived within 30 minutes to my house. Key Star was such a wonderful adventure, and saved us money, that I felt moved to write this review, although I have a tendency of score restaurants on Yelp.
I dropped my car's switchblade key fob (the fob + a foldout ignition key). It was replaced by key Star for 175 + tax.
The gentleman who helped us, from Mexico City, was friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and useful. He worked quickly and efficiently and knew precisely what he was doing. He made everything functioned before sending off us when he was finished. He was a pleasure.

Today locked myself out of the house. Did a search and discovered Key Star on yelp. They opened up my door in 5 without destroying or drilling my door lock and came in 10 minutes.
Demetrio was professional and courteous. Although I hope I don't have to rely on them again but if I do I will most certainly call them .

I'd another locksmith at the area that I Had used for a Few car keysLong story short, the procedure took about 2 hrs. Or so, and the installation task was done with caution, cleanly, and the lock so much is acting smoothly and flawlessly, no rubbing, no sound, sticking, mis-alignment, whatever. Hence the cost was a jolt but on the flip side, they did not in fact overcharge for installation or its lock and the overall experience was really professional and friendly.
I admit I was not that thrilled about the price of a Medeco high-tech lock, which may run as much as $300 these days, I'd no idea, although I priced them later on Amazon and really, any authentic high security lock is selling in a variety of $200-500 or so. Whatever the case, it had been much better quality than the option, and the installer needed to cut and re-sand and finish the pre-cut-out opening that hadn't been used in some time for a second lock.
A couple of years back, they were good, but for some inexplicable reason, did not return my VM message from two weeks before, therefore I gave them up and situated Key Star, a business I'd driven past 10000 times the last couple of years on N. Blvd., looked them up on , they got very high marks. I can see why. I had a 2nd security apt. Door lock ASAP, and I made an appt. And within a couple of days, they had been here on the afternoon and within a window of their appt. time. He did in fact call me to alert me of his ETA, so that was ok, although a bit had been running late. A whole lot of service companies these days are not nearly as professional.

I'd also learned the hard way a couple of years back that there are tons of scam artists out there posing as actual locksmith companies, that are in fact, scammers or , sort of sketchy fly by night outfits using imitation business addresses and unprofessional installers they send over to your place and make up costs, and frequently do a crap job. Do not go that way, always make sure it's a locksmith co.!!! I would absolutely recommend Key Star esp, without reservation. If you are at the Great Neck, L. Neck, Douglaston, Port Washington, Bayside, etc. place (s). I believe they traveling to other areas of NYC or LI but I am not sure what their support area limitations are. I think they offer emergency support, but call ahead . Hours to find their web site, or check out. See and call them, they are an extremely rare thing these days, a trusted locksmith.
