I called their main line and now this tech has my keys to house and they won't release information.
A complaint was made by me with the Calif Sales Tax leave.
This company was called by me and they sent an UNLICENSED Locksmith who tricked us to my Roseville Home. Price illegally changed at end and contains my credit card digits. His FAKE accredited technician who has a mobile phone # of 916-248-9775 or neither Kings Locksmith named Tommy. I am reporting this illegal action to locksmith permit board. I received a weird fake invoice that was licensed from San Diego, not from King's locksmith. The owner of King's locksmith won't provide his techs to him lic # invoice van or business or final title card. This tech has my cash and credit card #s and possibly access to my home. I am scared. I was charged a sales tax fee that was illegal for the entire repair that was bogus. WHAT to get a service?and in Placer County it is similar to 7.5%. I contacted www.bsis.ca.gov to file a complaint for sending an unlicensed tech and for illegally charging credit card. It is the law they take a permit.

Missing the key and that I thought that my only option was to pay to get it towed to the dealership then re-keyed there. The dealership said that the cost for the re-key will be at the 200. After a few research, I stumbled upon King's Locksmith in Roseville. Gave them a call and spoke with one of the pros, Danny. Next thing I know and arrangements were made, I've got a key to the car and at a FRACTION of what I was going to have to pay for a re-key and towing at the dealership.

I had the same experience which reviews that were negative had relating to this company. I wish I'd taken the time but being locked out from my car that I was in a hurry.
Read this; THE PRICES ON THEIR WEBSITE ARE NOT ACCURATE, if you read anything with this review!
The 1 star is because of their speed, Luckily I haven't had to cope with many locksmiths therefore that I don't understand the time for their services, but these men showed up over 15 minutes and had the car started within another 15 mins.
Now for the poor, I picked this company because their costs were recorded right on their webpage and they were local. The cost on their webpage for'Car Lockouts' showed $35.99. He looked at the vehicle, a couple year old pickup truck When the tech got onto website. He explained therefore the cost could be $120, he could not use the slim jim!
This is where I think they are really taking advantage of individuals, obviously if you are in a scenario where you are locked from car or a home you wish to remedy the problem. Kings Locksmith'baits' you by being"transparent" with pricing on their site. Once they are on site they constitute some reason why the fix is more complicated then any other fix and then jack up the price way.

DON'T HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! The job they do is horrible most of my locks broke within a week or so.

I talked with programming and with Danny who said he could order the wise Crucial for $207 and cutting, the total would be $325. Great, right? No. I should have listened to my instincts, when he said he would call me back when the secret was arranged by him. If he wanted my number, I asked him and he said he had it. He never called back. I phoned him to see what happened, the following day and he said he phoned me. He called the number, once I told him not to. The worst part is the message says that, AND gives the number that is correct. He explained he would make certain to call this number and needed my number today.
My husband calls Danny before he leaves work early to establish a short time (because he cannot be trusted) and Danny informs him that he did not possess the key programmed and it could take two hours to get it done. Why would he tell me he's saying that he doesn't even possess the code, and he can come by any time that afternoon? My husband goes back after Danny and two hours isn't in the workplace, but says he would come over and would be there in 20 minutes to retrieve the code. My husband leaves work early to meet with him. From Danny stating he'd have it and that the code did not come, I receive a call.
Next, once I tell Danny that I am going to visit the dealer, he said he understood. But, because of the problem, he went to text me that the program code he already paid for from his own pocket to save me the fee that was programming that was $40. . .but are we surprised?
Extremely mad, I communicate my lack of disappointment and religion with us in his poor communication. Danny assures me he will call me first thing in the morning if he receives the code or not. He was to call me at 7:30 am. He didn't! I received a call today (Tuesday) from someone else, stating he was"the guy that was going to repair my crucial" but they only had an ignition key and requested my VIN# back again. I requested him to possess I am called by Danny and declined. He didn't. I finally got a hold of Danny who said he obtained the key and the secret that was correct would cost $315 for the key. Okay, he is supposed to become a locksmith. In order to order a secret, you need to offer that the VIN #. . .the whole purpose of providing that the VIN# is so that they can confirm it is the key for this particular model. Really? Really? I don't think so.
I lost my Digital Smart Crucial. The dealership quoted me $500, so I decided to try and locate a locksmith which could give me a much better deal. I had the unfortunate luck to happen upon King's Locksmith on-line, and even worse luck in contacting the proprietor Danny.
Rating them 1 star is debilitating, because 0 stars is what they deserve. I have not ever encountered basic incompetence, information that was contradictory, or worse customer support .
Do your self a favor and find another locksmith. We have not had our car for a week because of the incompetence of Danny. Poor customer support stinks all over this enterprise. I haven't been more disappointed and I hope my review will prevent someone from experiencing their poor business practices.
Danny said that the secret was arranged by him and it might require 24 hours to get it. It should be in and I would have my brand new secret by Friday. He called. I called him. He explained that he phoned me. . .the number AGAIN. I gritted my teeth, clarified again, he had the amount. He said he would definitely have the secret. Monday came and I didn't hear from him. I called him again and he explained that he has been trying to telephone me (incorrect number again) because he had the secret and that he could come by any time. I inquired as my husband would be home if he could come by at 5pm.

This man is excellent. Came out and fix my own ignition switch and it did work for no charge for me. Awesome work thanks Kings locksmith

Since we dropped a key to our 20, called on a Sunday if we had a freak out moment shed. It had been cared for and the costs were soooo reasonable! Thank you Kings Locksmith to your fast and professional service!

Very appreciative for the particular gentleman's mobile services on a Sunday! .... Then again the day needing emergency because of my ignition key that broke in half. . I have to say excellent customer services. Just waited 10 min and they had been there to get me out of my jam. The gentleman fixed my door lock when all I wanted was a replacement key. The pricing is greatest around and at the time it took for them to get here and fix it you can't beat it. I urge them to anybody in the Roseville area that is rocklin if your in a rush or a tight spot. Thanks guys professional.

They lent me again, except this time for $400 as my automobile had a laser cut key and showed up. He cut $ 100 like it was nothing As soon as I showed disapproval, This left an off flavor and I chose to call a different man. Le Locksmith showed up and charged $85.... A hell of a lot less than $400 and stated that I absolutely didn't require a laser cut key, but if I did he wouldnt change his cost. I am glad that I didnt decided to go with kings! I am not sure whether was part crook part fool or one or another, however I wouldnt waste. Call another corporation.
PS they say that they accept credit cards but this man wanted cash... I dont understand what the deal with this was, but like I said, I believe that he was sort of a crook. Kings endorsed this man and I found his dishonesty, although it feels like they're all independent contractors so maybe I drew the short straw.

Attempt to prevent this company.
They quoted $35 to unlock my master bedroom when I called for service. It took them less than two mins to unlock the door plus they demanded for $80 for the service asserting that the lock is a smart lock which is actually a standard lock we got from Home Depot.

Desired a locksmith on a Saturday and these men were the ones to answer the telephone. Service was fast and professional and the lock works excellent. Will do business again.

I am not from the region and do not know anyone around there. I was covering for my cousin while he traveled to china to get work. He sent me keys for his regional business and car keys and that was that. On my way to his workplace, I somehow managed to lock all of the keys - fancy automobile that was automatic lock??? A man named Danny helped me out and came in 20 minutes, after calling a lot of local places, who would make me wait for an hour or so. Within minutes I had keys in my hand! He was honest with pricing and because my time was sensitive and also he showed up when I wanted somebody, I provide 5 stars to this business!

Do not use this company. Their license has died and refused to take some responsibility when we had an issue with them the.

I locked my keys in my car and called Kings because they were the nearest (according to google). Was greeted with an abrupt"hi" therefore I had to confirm if I had the right location. He offered me $20 for the job and the drive would be contingent on the technician. So I said okay and waited before getting a call. I had been I told him, he asked me. Inform him about the price and he said $20 for the project and the drive begins at $40. I said okay and asked he went to be there. He explained So I waited for them to get there and after they looked in my vehicle, they explained that it would be 130 to open it up!! Mind you they utilized an thing and also a hook to unlock it. He had been done, before I was done filling out my name and address on the bill. I didn't have time because I was already an hour late for work to argue. I wish they'd have let me know it was going to take a hour to get there and the quoting of charges is ridiculous. You'd think that they would have a better idea of how much it costs since they ask for the automobile make and model within the phone.
