He showed in a very tricked out portable locksmith shop....in that a Toyota Prius. I truly liked how it was customized to the business enterprise. He gave me keys and changed 4 locks in 3 doors in about one hour The charge was $249 which I was not sure was not or a sensible price. I live in SF, everything is crazy expensive for about an hours work seemed a bit on the large side for Sacramento but thought.
All in all, the ceremony was quite favorable. The tech was very polite and did a good job. 1 comment with the job is that there was left to keys and the door handles. To get a five, details such as this should be taken care of. Things that were wipe installed.
I called Locksmith Central about a week and a half ago to change out the locks on a property in Rocklin. They were polite and responsive. I needed to change the date to another as the tenant wasn't likely to be able to move out to the date scheduled. Not problem, the change was made. The tech (sorry I can't remember his name and business cards are general without a title that I found strange) was running a little late and gave me a call to advise. Traffic is crazy in the Sacramento area, that's how it is.
Robert Bradley was AMAZING!!He had been the ONLY Locksmith who would Guarantee he would have in picking this Credenza sword key pad!! success
We highly recommend Locksmith Central!!
He would charge us if he was
Way over priced! I must have done more study before calling this provider.
I needed a key.
Turns out I would have saved a lot of money had I just gone into the dealer and had them make a key for me, plus it would have been a fob key compared to the secret I got from this company. Additionally, the entire process from call to complete took more than 8 hours. When I called the dealership not only were their prices but the process would not have taken a half and over an hour.
Robert Bradley that owns and works locksmith Central has a negative 1 star to coincide with his integrity.
It appears that he has a background of poor reviews for taking advantage of girls.
Its not about the money people principal and its about the integrity.
He's now due to his unethical and unprofessional business practices under investigation with different agencies.
We took him to court and obtained a judgment against him for $250. And court.
He quoted my wife $250. To make a secret for our Tacoma. This job will have a qualified locksmith approx. 1/2 hour. It took 2-1/2 hours to this man and he added an additional $250. To the initial quote that wasn't agreed to.
Locked my keys in my bedroom. Called Robert after 6 pm and he was at my house in 20 minutes. He lent me a fee and was very affordable. I called a different place a few minutes before and they quoted me $29 to come out and the technician could make a decision as to exactly what you owe to this service call fee in addition. Seemed like they were going to tear me off. Robert was honest and up with his costs. Took 10 minutes to select my lock and left no damage.
They always do a great job for our enterprise! Super responsive, professional and fast same day service! They are strongly recommended by me.
So we did not have to wait a few days robert Bradley came out day later phoning and went out of his way to receive stuff rather. Very very knowledgeable and wonderful man. Highly recommended them!
Most had to be done at a dealership that would have cost twice as far as what Rob billed and places I had security and discovered a hard time to get it done, stating that my 2012 honda civic was a laser key.
I had Robert create a secret for me now and he was able to get it working on the first attempt. The procedure did not take long at all, and he provided me with a metal key incase anything happened to my key later on.
Rob Bradly had personally come to my house in a emergency.
It had been Nears Years Eve and I had placed my car keys. I had a large engagement with the Mayor and our car and his wife was inoperable. Rob saved the evening by making a SMART key and unlocking the car. He is amazing and I recommend him with the greatest honors. I am a Representative of the City of Sacramento and a good friend of Mayer Johnson.
The only reason is because it didn't take him long to get to my home but that was because he happened to be in the place. He charged me an additional $75 because it was a Sunday, next to the $65 for the ceremony to unlock a door. Outrageous pricing! It was my fault to not research before I called them. I was in a hurry to have it done, but who doesn't need to get back in their home as soon as possible. I discovered (after the fact) a far cheaper company but oh well... a lesson learned.
Outrageous prices. $295 to unlock a door. A locksmith I know from the Bay Area, where things are generally more expensive, says we should not have been billed more than $99 max and have taken.
Horrible experience. The gentlemen that assisted me was impolite. He acted like he did not wish to perform his job. He treated me with disrespect and had 0 client service. Avoid this company. Will never do support with them again. If I could rate this location with 0 stars I would. Do not understand how this place is still in business.
Just got off the phone. It sounds like the person who replied and a referral company wasn't competent. I simply wanted them to unlock and also create keys for a truck bed cover. After being on hold while she checked with someone else and explaining that multiple times she asked me for a VIN number and began quoting prices. She hung up when I repeated this wasn't linked to the VIN and calmly asked to speak with someone knowledgeable. Perhaps if I'd called the other number on the website I would have had better fortune... but I opted to move elsewhere.
I needed a set of fob and also keys for my 2004 Acura. That requires programming that the remotes, fitting it to the car's security system and computer, and cutting on the key. Quite involved. Posted encounters with Honda/Acura dealerships were blended, but Robert at Locksmith Central came urged.
He and called Robert can fit me in the morning. Since I did not expect him to inventory transponder keys and remotes for every car out there, I came prepared and introduced a Honda transponder key blank and an fob, both of which I got online.
He programmed the key to work together with electronics and the car's safety, and that worked right off the bat. He programmed the fob, and, again, he made it right on the first attempt.
All work took less than an hour, and the cost was far less than that which I'd have been required to pay at a dealership. Excellent service. Highly recommended.
I had 2 deadbolt problems today at my house that needed to be serviced. Robert phoned me back. He was in my door, one deadbolt that is fixed , changed the other, along with a doorway set, all for a fair price. No surprises, or schedule. He comes with a service warranty, knowledge along with a friendly disposition. Only the kind should support. Telephone Robert, you won't be let down!
They fixed it! Told me they would be there in 20 minutes and showed up in 3 hours (did knock $10 off the total). It was a beast of an issue that I had spent on. He repaired it working superbly on the ignition lock cylinder. Saved me if I had to tow it and also have. Very professional. Impressive cars with a myriad of tools in them and willing to travel all over. Only thing that prevented 5 stars was the guaranteed period and way late arrival.
We called Locksmith Central after waiting two hours for another locksmith that never showed up. It took I was told by that the guy on the telephone; but the locksmith was apologetic for the delay and he was absolutely professional, polite, and considerate when he arrived. He managed to find the keys out of the car less than a minute!
Consequently, if you are in need of a replacement transponder key for your car and reside at the Sacramento/El Dorado Hills area, I certainly recommend Locksmith Central. And should you want one of those more elaborate fobs with the remote entrance, attempt AutoTransponder.com.
In summary, Robert was great. I set up an appointment for the next morning, went over to his place of business. An hour after (he was interrupted by a couple of telephone calls), I left with a totally operational valet key (he didn't possess the remote fobs in stock, but told me he could probably program the more inexpensive ones I'd found on AutoTransponder.com) plus a free additional door key for emergency lockouts - all for just $85 including tax.
I got. Regrettably, it is one of these fancy-shmancy jobbers that has a transponder chip inside, so that I couldn't only bebop around to Agent Orange (Home Depot), my customary quick-n-dirty primary cutter. I started my research by speaking with several Volkswagen dealers (including Elk Grove and Niello), who joyfully offered to cut and program a basic valet key (no door remote) for $200+, and also prices for one to match my current spiffy one - with a switch-blade-like-flip-out key and remote lock - started at over $300. I'd discovered third-party keys starting at $69, however, the dealers' warnings they had never been effective in programming a secret ordered off the internet (which I'm sure was probably part of their sales pitch to induce me to buy one of theirs) nagged at the back part of my brain. So I started searching for an locksmith in my region, which lead me to Locksmith Central. I'd spoken with a couple locksmiths that charged $125 to $150 just for the programming, which was about what the dealers charged. I then noticed that Locksmith Central was local for me, so I gave him a call, and he told me it'd be quick, easy, and just.
Rob came over to repair our entrance door locks and after trouble shooting the locks that were not broken he told me that the doors were misaligned. He also rekeyed our locks and recommended an excellent contractor to repair our two front doors. Rob also rekeyed the door. He does work. We alway work with his company once we want a locksmith.
My daughter lost her keys and they needed to have a unique processor so we could not purchase a key at Lowes or where . Mazda said it'd be over $200 to get a new one. But they also stated that locksmiths can often do the exact same thing. We called Locksmith Central and they left us a secret for $95 and said that since we had!
