Metro Lockout is unethical and treat people.
They showed up, but still billed my credit card. They would not refund the fee, so I disputed with my CC company. They won the dispute by proving false info.

Todd got a mindset after a proposal on how my car locks operates. Than Asked me unlocked with a attitude. He proceeded to state he was departing with out completing the job.
Most unprofessional company. Todd is a dreadful business owner. Minnesota news crews investigated him. Charged with assaulting a client.

Negative stars if it were possible. This was SO bad although I really don't write yelp testimonials!
I called for support, was locked out after work at 3am, and was greeted the telephone right off to start. He interrupting my intro since Id"I was the one calling him at 3am" (it's a 24 hr service)
I needed a voice trying to not shout, which I was over and was clearly flustered/in a situation that is trying and OVER again shouted at for. I kept apologizing and thanking him for his effort at"help" (even though he could not ). I acknowledge I caved in and called him an ass as I hung up but what followed wasn't deserved or anything specialist whatsoever. He telephoned me 2x after I hung up making me voicemails threatening to make my difficulty larger by phoning cops and that I am being blacklisted by him from all area locksmiths. Almost comical. I'm not surprised after reading these few other reviews. Dude has issues.

Inferior support. Rude dispatchers. The guy on the phone could care less about any of my queries. I will never give this company my business. I asked him what the cost difference was between a 3 button or a four button replacement plus he said that he hung up and wouldn't tell me.

Abhorrent customer services. My father called because he lost and the man who answered the telephone laughed at himwas totally disrespectful and when my dad told him he loved the man hung up. We will call the BBB and submitting a complaint and strongly encourage others that undergo treatment to perform the same.

2) instead of complain that you're not likely to make enough money when someone else already has blanks, if they started the call saying so, why don't you offer to take a look at them, and then you are able to tell the story about the man you heard of online that once. NEVER complain that you're not likely to make money. Lock smiths are a dime a dozen, so don't act as if you're the man doing it.
Long story short. If you enjoy condescending you're going to LOVE Metro lock. If you would like to have a grown up conversation, I'd look into someone.
If I could give zero stars I would. To begin; I did not even have the opportunity to use there support since I hung on and had been called an ass. This is why I had been called an ass... I call Metro Lock and inquired about having my brand new pair of keys I've programmed and cut. He begins looking in a book to find out whether he has a pair of keys. He tells me that his novels aren't in alphabetical sequence, actual professional... I inform him to get the second time that I have the secrets. He begins to tell me that he wont cut off my keys initially starting out saying that he wont make money not selling me his secret, but then begins monitoring saying he knew a man and his cutter broke with some secrets back. I ask him to use his secrets and tell me and he proceeds to call me an ass that he will hang up on me.
1) listen to the person when they call you.
If the man I talked to on the phone reads this;

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! We phoned our vehicle to jump. The man who showed up gave much attitide and told my husband that he was the operator. He had words with my husband and not just threatened to ram the driver side door away, actually rammed our vehicle after the car was started! Do not waste your money or time . I cannot believe they are still in company with psycho owner and the shotty customer support.

Worst Firm in MN! Called to find someone to come unlock my car. Asked me where my car had been I advised him South Minneapolis. Hung up on me. Called back (believing the call got dropped) replied and told me not to squander his F-ing time. Got someone who informed me that it's not her job to shoot and that she didn't care and called to complain complains. Worst customer service I've ever encountered.

I called to have my bicycle lock which neglected cut and needed a receipt to delivered to the bicycle lock company for reimbursement. Todd came , when I said I needed a receipt turned a change and moved into a rage cut the lock. He raised his voice speaking incredibly rudely to the two of us when we had been nothing but respectful and yelling. He made us both feel incredibly unsafe and he appeared to be mentally unstable. I am glad I was not alone . When I wrote a review the company (whoever is responding to messages) said I had been hiding and popped out to scare him and other such absurd statements. NEVER EVER give your business. I can't believe he has not been shut down.

So after giving him my address at which my car was locked he explained he was going to kill me, whoever was on the phone this time hung up and picked up The phone and inquired where I was. I phoned back the following day and they had no"call records at that time of night" when I have an iPhone that reveals when I phoned and duration of call, this made him mad. Tried submitting a police report and was told it is to much of a nuisance because I kept calling them and"aggravated" him, if ur s 24 hour lock support don't hang up when I call and be lying bits of crap.

Like I had lost the key, called the company because I wanted them to cut on my bike lock. The person that I can only assume to be Todd asked me to get a speech and replied. I start to give one and he interrupts my by saying that I want to hurry up and before I could start talking again hung up on me and told me to call him. With treatment like that, I would do no such thing and took my company. I recommend anyone else do the same.

The guy who answered our phone was rude. He cut off us and then hung up on us after we gave the exact speech where the car was parked. It's -17 for all he knew we might have been stuck out and below now. Although since it's a snow emergency, we weren't, however are desperate to get help and we can't afford a town ticket and tow. Unprofessional and utterly disappointing.

I would NOT recommend using this locksmith. I never received their support since with was SO rude, I made a decision to cancel.
Their cost may be slightly less, but I'd suggest investing in a rival.
I expressed my difficulty and phoned - misplaced keys - and he hung me up, afterwards talking some options. I phoned back, confused, and eventually organized a opportunity to meet. He requested that we communicate through text, which I believed was strange but was fine given his tone on the phone. Before the hour was up to state he'd be an extra 20 minutes, he said it would be 1 hour but followed up shortly. I ran an errand at the moment, and was fine with this. I wasn't there, when he arrived. As I pulled up to the street he called my car was on. He went off on me, yelling, complaining that I hadn't immediately answered his call and he had already left (after waiting less than 3 minutes) and it'd be an extra $25 now for him to return. I told him that would be fine, then waited another 20 minutes. He responded ,"You're ridiculous." For an industry in which this worker probably deals with folks in tricky situations, he supplied customer services and wasn't understanding of a delay.

Company, wish I never predicted. I attempted to explain the problem to make sure that he came armed with equipment and the information and therefore had a complicated lock dilemma another emergency locksmith could not fix. He went to a rant and yelled at me to quit speaking. The conservation was under 3 minutes, he got incredibly rude from no where. Unacceptable behavior, felt like I had called an, not a place I was going to cover a ceremony.

If I could give zero stars I would. I called onto a battery that was dead. I got out of my car to say hello when he arrived. He barked,"Pop up your hood and get in the car." I walked to explain the hood had popped however, that the launch is actually tricky. During oil affects people have spent 15 minutes trying to find the latch under the hood. He stepped back and said if you understand how to do it you should. I thought he wanted my help but that was sarcasm. I asked if he had a flashlight and fumbled with it. He said," Oh well normally when folks attempt to perform my job I let them." That is when I knew I had been dealing with a psycho buttocks. Thankfully I had been on a busy street with a great deal of people. This is not a guy that you want to be alone with in a ramp. And no way in hell do you want him dealing with all the locks. He put the cables on and cried"Start your car!" He got in his truck and drove off, After I did. Customer service = zero. Social skills = none. I really wish I'd read the yelp reviews. Envision if you have seen Billy Bob Thornton in Bad Santa. That is what you get for this guy.
