I suggest Metro Locksmiths.
Due to an unfortunate incident with a renter I had to change the locks on my flat. Metro were the first people to react and presumably were the busiest as well since they were not able to come to me for a couple of days, admittedly it was 4th July weekend, nevertheless when they were able to come they were friendly and efficient as well as being quite safety conscious. Giovanni called ahead to let me know he had been 15 minutes away and so he washe worked efficiently and quietly. I had lots of secrets that he organized for me.

Very cheap for what I had and even believed I should pay more.
I go there again for my lock and key demands.
I had some car keys. For key's kind that I wanted, they would not refund the price of work performed and clarified they may not be able to generate a backup that was perfect. I knew the consequences and we proceeded. The manager was friendly and the service was prompt. In a couple of minutes the keys functioned flawlessly, tested and were cut.

Wow, the owner really doesn't care....The people working at this location were amazingly responsive and helpful. The estimator was punctually and pleasant...I was told that the owner was planning to give me a quote himself. I've called 3 times in crickets and a couple of weeks. Done with this place.

This is high there with. Signed up to get a project months ago, gave all of them advice they had, signed up all paper works and paid them 50% deposit..They don't telephone you, no mails and when you call themit's like you're bothering them...I would not suggest this to anybody, unless you have patience to wait for a year simply to get something done. People and useless I've ever worked with. I regret wasting months seeking to utilize them.

Sent them two requests for a quote and heard nothing. I'd obtained the recommendation from NextDoor; too poor.

I will repeat the complaints against management- that the owner is rude and dismissive. He shut 40 minutes without warning (despite my calling in to inquire, after being left on hold) and he shut the door on me while I was mid sentence. There are a number of different places to replicate keys- choose another.

I would like to express My Own Admiration in Metro and the Whole team for Sara and Patrick, Matt, and Anna. I handle and unit keys that were in a box that is safe had been stolen by the thief. When calling 4:30 PM, Matt was able to help me get a technician out to re key 8 units at the building over the hour. The tech empathetic to the tenants, and came into the property.
I will continue to use Metro Locksmith as my Locksmith for several years.
They are always responsive to all work requests and very professional. I have 26 properties I manage from the city and love .

I have utilized Metro on events for example president of the HOA of my building. They installed and maintained our Doorking submission system. The job they did was great. But every time I received an invoice, there were charges. When I asked about how the hourly time added up I received an angry reply amounting to"how dare you question our bill". Since the amount was obviously too high I chose to question the bill. I had been told they'd review the fees. I asked about a week later and followed , and did not recieve an answer. I learned today they sent the invoice in hopes that the management firm pay it and wouldn't know better to the management firm, and it may have worked.
I'm not saying don't use Metro. But I am saying you WILL have billing problems, so watch them.

There are big time scammers out there to take advantage of your position and they will charge an arm and a leg to get you back into your home because you are feeling the anxiety of being locked out. I was among those who got charged to get under an emergency situation into my home. NEVER troll for any locksmith available. Call Metro 24 hour service. Yes, you'll pay more than support but not robbed like the businesses.
I am not sure of these recent reviews as I have been well served by Metro Locksmiths. Here is my note to anyone who gets locked out of the residence:
I have had them provide an entrance platform and other lock issues and have been pleased with their job, charges and response.
Return to my review : I had a situation where I needed to get into a property which the owner who was for me left outside of town to take care of some business. The lower of 2 locks wasn't to have been secured but alas, it was. So had to telephone Metro. Called, gave my situation to them, they stated it'd be an hour, it was 30 minutes and Andrew showed up to save the day! Charges were less than half of another experience mentioned above and was pleased with the outcome.

We chose her recommendation to embrace them as our go-to security/access vendor also, and we haven't looked back. Here's my feedback about their services:
Metrolock is eminently professional, once they operate swiftly, professionally and professionally. They have a range of specialists among their personnel who will handle plenty of complex security and access issues. Their advice is fair and applicable to future-proof setups and equipment, and constantly to the conditions. Aftercare is superb.
Pro's
It may take a little while from paying the to physically obtaining installers and asking work. Installation may be a bit haphazard, depending on accessibility. And, yes, like other people on Yelp say, they are on the high side for cost - however you get what you pay for with Metrolock.
If they're on your price bandwidth, metrolock does work that is outstanding, I urge you to consider using them.
Disadvantages

My problem with this particular place is the inconsistency in support. Tech comes out and he's good but getting them is a pain. We didn't hear anything so we called again and called and set up an appointment. So that he didn't appear the technician was given the wrong address and there was confusion about that. He then didn't possess the items that he had to fix our gate so that he was going to return once we ordered them and then when we ordered them nobody would respond and then when they responded they told us it would take a week to allow them to call and tell us when the technician would return. At that point I was completely over it and wrapped in anger and called The Wire Guy and that went smoothly.

I really don't write reviews often but Metro Locksmith definitely deserves a mention.
The locksmith was punctual, fast, professional and the service was fairly priced. I
Booking? Easy. Professional and I got a ONE hour window to the appointment as opposed to"involving 1-5".

As they were eager to go out for a long weekend and locking up, I arrived in one day needing a replicate. The team totally accommodated last second to me with a small complicated request that demanded some phoning around and verifying well. Would go for some of my regional locksmith needs to them.

Metro has rekeyed the building undermining its security and without consent changed the function of our electronic entry system rendering it unusable to residents at the building. They've yet to successfully perform a job correctly. If I have a say they'll never touch our building.

5/3 Doorbell intercom was not working. Technician came and spent 2.5hr and couldn't repair the issue. Paid $267.50 without a solution? Were told that they would follow up after meeting schedule and supervisor repair. Received and asked if the doorbell works? If the issue can not be fixed by metro during the initial appointment. Don't paid before the issue is solve.

Fantastic customer service! Wish I knew ago. Discovered them on a Saturday at 11am when I wanted to have a deabolt re-keyed (not an unusual or unreasonable job to want to complete to a Saturday). Every additional locksmith has been closed. Metro was available until 2pm. Rick took good care of petition seemlessly, when I walked into the doorway and with a couple of laughs! Thanks for the professionalism and proficient service you guys provided!

Metro Locksmiths is outstanding! Best professionalism and service I have experienced with any locksmith. Micheal (who helped me get in my flat ) is especially great and helpful! I recommend this place to anybody looking for locksmiths in the Bay Area!

Friendly and efficient staff. Rates are fair and clarified. Staff is skilled and pleasant. They also show up on time.
I have had support, and have used this four times now.

I hired them involving door and gate rekeying and also to put in a safety system to get jobs. Jimmy operates and was professional. Somewhat pricey but it is work.
