I had been having some difficulties with my door, and so I called MIke. He came promptly on time and did not even charge me for coming out! Very hard to get these days! He gave advice about how to fix the situation, even though we decided he wouldn't take the task! Will ask him to come out for jobs!
I needed some locks onto a rental unit re-keyed. Mike finished the job and was professional and prompt. He provided a few expert guidance on another situation. He is a nice person. I strongly recommend him.
You know there is a business doing something right when it has all five star reviews. I didn't get lucky picking Mikes Locksmith to get a door lock fix, it's the support everybody gets. . .at least that is what I see in the other reviews! I am located in GA today (work move ), but my rental home is currently in Gaithersburg still. The renter said the lock was going bad so I discovered Mikes Locksmith and got on Yelp and called. He responded immediately. . And he offered to speak with my renter directly and perform our coordination of his visit. . .how fine! He got the job sent a crystal clear statement to me and my problem is solved! You won't be let down, if you are looking call this region!
Installed my Nest Yale Lock. He doesn't do the Nest Pairing and setup which is why I gave 4 starts to him.
Ran into some issues but not his fault it was that the contractors. He managed to figure it out and place it up.
Deff utilize him if you want some one who knows what they are doing when installing locks.
I called Mike to re-key an old lock. When he arrived and looked at the lock, he guided me to get a lock. He told me that he could sell me I could visit HomeDepot and buy a less costly lock and either put in myself or utilize him a pricier lock. I bought the HD lock, appreciated his candor and used him to put in it, although he was more pricey than many others who lent less to substitute an existing lock. But I therefore went with him and loved his honesty. He was on time, professional and efficient. I highly recommend him for any occupation that is locksmith.
In addition, he gave us a recommendation (not to buy a Kwikset) to save us any trouble later on when we decided to buy our own lock rather than use what he had. Overall, I'd recommend Mike to the locksmith needs.
When my home key wouldn't turn to open the door, I turned to Yelp. Mike came hella promised. Granted, I was lucky that he was in the area (in 10 mins!) .
He had to drill a hole rather than try and fix it since I had a Kwikset lock. It was simple and quick though.
I've called Mike twice not for assistance when I was stressed out. He does a fantastic job, came quickly, is reasonably priced and is a true expert in his craft. I had to use another locksmith it was an awful experience, proving to me and when Mike was out of town. I look forward to knowing they can depend on him is a great feeling and referring Mike.
My initial interaction with Mike's was on the phone, when his wife (?) Picked up my telephone. It was on a Monday night like 5:30, and she sounded distracted. I was sure I had called the ideal place. NOT impressed. (But I CAN appreciate how they answer phones throughout the day, as it's difficult for me to look after personal matters during working hours.) So after talking with her for a couple of minutes, she puts me down for a 7am appointment the following Monday.
I frankly thought that I'd have to schedule another appointment and the appointment be an appointment. But Mike had everything he needed in his truck. I went with all the Lock, which is a tad more expensive but offers more safety. In order to replicate the keys, you need a key card. The set comes with two keys and the primary card.
From Sunday evening, I realize I got a confirmation call or email. Expecting they didn't forget about my appt that is 7am, I wake up early on Monday. Mike calls me about 6:45am to tell me he's on his way. Phew. He shows up only at 7 and we begin talking about options, etc..
I needed a few added copies and Mike graciously offered to deliver the copies back to my place afterwards. I didn't even need to stop by his shop! It'd"lock", however if you pulled hard enough, it'd open. A adjustment was left by him and I asked Mike to look at it and didn't charge me. Thanks Mike!
I needed to change the locks on my door.
Point is, if you need a locksmith, visit Mike. Don't let it disturb you if your conversation with them isn't good. I'm glad I didn't!
We placed the call and while giving him particulars (less than 5 minutes) he said'I am here'. I have a look at the door and there he's in the front of the doorway just like a genie appearing from nowhere! We could not believe our eyes
The office had closed and I had to receive our deposits before they closed when the interior office with my luggage, the deposits and my phone accidentally got locked. After playing with thief and failing, we called Mike.
That name is alredy taken although I'd call him Magic Mike. . .so Mike is our genie in a van!! For many years Mike created us additional keys, changed locks and has rekeyed our workplace. But yesterday evening Mike performed magical!!

Excellent service and fantastic work! I had originally wanted the locks in my brand new place rekeyed, but the hardware was old and kind of crusty. Instead, Mike and his helper installed doorknobs , super high quality deadbolts and brand new . He also came out again when I changed my mind about a keyed doorknob, replacing it with a deadbolt (I do feel much more secure!) . He is a pleasure to work with although based on the quality of these locks I will not need to, and I'd use him again!

Mike's Locksmith Stone! I discovered them on Yelp while looking for a locksmith to substitute the mechanism at an old fashioned gumball machine that was passed down. Mike's wife provided good (and very prompt!) Customer service through Yelp messaging. She assisted me envision a time for Mike to have a peek at the machine and was flexible. Mike was SO quickly repairing it (I honestly was not certain when the machine was fixable at all) and took the opportunity to show me how the new mechanism worked once I picked it up. He would return following my work, in a couple of days and had to order some parts. He did the work efficiently and fast and was there before time! His prices were much lower than every other locksmith which I called.

Mike re-keyed locks that are several and mended a busted three point locking mechanism. He was friendly, fast and efficient. He didn't upsell, laid out our choices, and saved us money on which could have been a (expensive) fix. As a bonus, he was also quite good with our puppy. Highly recommend.
