As I was on my way to meet some 23, my car developed a flat tire the evening of October 13, 2016. I was close to where I was headed before I knew the seriousness of the circumstance and thus was able to make it before I had to pull over and park near where I was moving.
I don't think 13 minutes after in relation to an ETA (that, after all, stands for ESTIMATED period of arrival) is bad to get a period of night they were probably busy (rush hour). Best of all, the cheerful attitude and service of Brandon made a experience nearly pleasant -- ALMOST. Thank you Brandon !!! And should I ever require a bicycle change I will be asking for you
The text I received inside a moment of my phone estimated a one-hour wait. Because I was meeting friends, 12, I was alright with that. Brandon from PopALock and 13 minutes after 1 hour phoned my mobile to tell me that he was with my vehicle. I went out to meet him to help get the spare from the trunk, etc. and inside just 10 minutes from start to finish the spare was on, the apartment was in my trunk and Brandon was bidding me quite a fantastic evening. He even diagnosed (as it turns out, right!) The reason why my tire went flat (new tire- valve stem not pulled through properly by the tire technician.)
Because I want a tow Therefore a tire shift turned into a 2 1/2 hour ordeal that was so far.
1 hour 15 minutes later I thought I was calling Pop a Lock but called Progressive instead but ask about the status. Progressive calls Pop a Lock and they tell him they cancelled because it was too dangerous. Never did I hear from them and did Progressive.
My story is that I have a level and have never used roadside help and thought"what the hell". Telephone Progressve and set up this. Receive a text which Pop there is a Lock your company. I call them to make sure they have the place and I'm informed by a girl that which they have and that I tell her that's accurate. I'm on I-270 S at I-70 on the shoulder. She tells me somebody will be.
Not surprised this company has a one star rating. I'm not sure how they stay in business.
I proceeded to change itself and then cancelled but of course my fortune, the bicycle is frozen into the hub and I can't make it loose with just a 16 oz hammer .
Pop a Lock is a bunch of de *****s
If I could give them negative five stars I would. Feb 9th. This business was called from innovative road side assistance to give our car a leap at our property. Well a Chevy Cobalt, the car that was shipped out, gave my husband truck a leap along with the cobalt caught on fire since the guy had a gas can next to the battery which was situated in the vehicle of the car. Which of course caused my husband's car. Both cars exploded in my driveway. I could have dropped my husband and my home. The sad part about this is the car wasn't even enrolled as a company vehicle and that this company's proprietor called his cousin to support us. You need to request a new business straight away if they are ever used by any insurance company and I WOULD NEVER EVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. It has to be shut down!!!
I will avoid this company. My insurance called them to come change my flat tire. It's been over every time I call to get an ETA and 3 hours, they inform me another hour. I received a text stating they'd arrive within 30 minutes. I am sitting at my car stuck in the snow and cold. I am not happy. There's absolutely no way in the world. I know wait times but don't just tell me anything to get me! I gave them a celebrity because the program made me! I just had my insurance contact another organization and explained he is on his way to me and the man called me right away! 15 minutes!
I had the WORST experience with pop a lock. I had a flat tire in I270 going north at mile mark 9.4. I phoned Ford Roadside Assistance to have a person come out a repair the apartment and they sent out pop a lock. Within an hour after (my ETA was 45 minutes) I receive a call from pop a lock. The"specialist" insisted I had to use Google Maps so to allow him to find me, I went to my phone and brought up Apple Maps because that's all I have, I just confused both. When I was not finding the links that he was searching for I just explained to him AGAIN I was on I270 going north at mile mark 9.4 involving Trabue and Roberts. Once I phoned Ford about it, they investigated it and said that pop a lock wouldn't come because they could not"find" me (I was in a non existent building zone). Tow truck drivers have managed to locate customers for over 100 years WITHOUT Google channels is pop up excruciating they can find folks.
Pop-a-lock's LACK OF COURTESY AND PROFESSIONALISM means I submitted a petition to have them eliminated from your list of tow truck services and they will never be used by me in the future.
If I could give negative stars I would.
Beware! Moments later I wouldn't answer my phone and got a notification that Pop-a-lock closed the telephone. They whined. And they sent a invoice. I was sitting in the front seat along with my phone the entire time.
Make sure you let them request another supplier if you use assistance service.
They said they'd be there in 45 minutes. After a half and an hour, I called and was told they were less than ten minutes outside. Thirty minutes later, I called was advised they pulled into the parking lot.
Was supposed to get there within half an hour, didn't show up til almost one hour and a half. Called to check on the condition of the driver, original customer service rep was one. When he finally showed up, the repair person was friendly and quick. Don't recommend because of issues I had.
Beware, DO NOT USE THIS COMAPNY. MAKE SURE THEY DONT CONTRACT WITH POP A LOCK, IF YOU CALL YOUR INSURANCE.
I asked a jump my insurance provider, through USAA. I was told that there would be a 45 minute wait. I was with the vehicle the whole time, but an hour and a half was told that they had been on scene and no one was with the auto. I called the customer service number and was berated for not being with the car, and was advised to reopen the call with my insurance provider.
I would if I could give negative stars. Subaru Roadside Assistance delegated to me them to bring me fuel. With no indication of the driver, I waited for an hour AFTER THAT CALL Following the driver called to receive my place. Called the number provided for the enterprise to find an ETA, lo and behold the driver decided because I told him I am PAST THE CONSTRUCTION on 71 I am in a dangerous location. Where I'm I could park two cars side by side on the shoulder. Then I figure out they then took 50min tell them they weren't going to do it and to call Subaru. So I get the joy of waiting ANOTHER HOUR for a different company. I'm getting overly heated, no atmosphere, no water and because one driver and a firm couldnt be bothered to do their job. Worthless.
Wow. Can I call Pop-A-Lock to tell them never mind? Why would the pleasure be ruined by me like that? You wasted my time, I will waste your own gas and your time. I'm driving home and Pop-A-Lock man calls saying he's there and wants to understand where I'm. I found a different solution after you're nearly two hours !" Then hung up.
The next service provider is out there in 10 minutes, has my car jumped, and I'm on my way. (The irony is, he was just coming from another job, that Pop-A-Lock botched by not having the perfect gear )
I was initially given an hour ETA. No big deal. I can wait. Hour passes. Okay, stuff happens. Traffic is bad. Two hours, call back my Roadside Assistance, and Pop-A-Lock is called by them. Guy is 20 minutes out. Roadside Assistance CSR, (likely just as annoyed with these as I am) decides to send out a brand new service and not bother telling them Pop-A-Lock that she's done so.
Just wow. I called my insurer's roadside assistance, and they shipped all these clowns out... sort of. They never showed up.
Moral of this story, don't take.
This so called company is dreadful!!!! Every time you talk to them lies. When you phone them to view Eta somebody will be said by them is own their manner. Nobody shows up!! Save yourself frustration and time sign up with AAA. After waiting 5 hrs for assistance from the other road side assistance who had excuses and pop a lock I had to the past Friday. Pop a lock has a lot of lazy and full. They quit lying to individuals and should not have any rating. My one start rating should be zero.
Wow. They sent a trainee with what looked like a clothing hanger that was glorified. It took a long time. The worker sent was unsure of how to move and called. The worker sent was advised to close the job, though there wasn't anything odd and appeared to be following appropriate procedure. It was a training or gear issue. I am hoping that young man finds a much better job . What was frustrating for be personally was I needed my key and had a rescue puppy. From the time situation due to the company's poor business practices, it was nearly 4 hours. Do not do it whatsoever if you can't do something right.
I wish I could give them worse reviews.... Dreadful customer service and they keep lying on the phone. . .My insurance company State Farm used them for me... If your insurance provider gives you these men please ask for another supplier or be rest assured that you are likely to be stuck for over 2-3 hours.
I repeat every review on here. My insurance company, Westfield, utilizes them for their help. I waited for Pop A-Lock making many calls to the driver's status to them. They lied to me each time stating"20 more minutes". I had kids awaiting me. They should not be used by any insurance provider to get their assistance - They are putting their customers at risk in these waiting scenarios that are extreme.
They're a contractor for Progressive Roadside assistance I needed to call Progressive and have them locate a different provider after waiting ove.r two hours, maybe not a rainy or high traffic time daily.
Told Honda roadside support they had already helped me and I had signed the papers when they had not even showed up! That takes some serious gall right there. After 2 hours I did it myself and was on my way.
Overall object of sh*t. I requested a roadside support because of a flat tire. I was told by them they arrived in 5 minutes. Then they were missing. It was that the dispatch was canceled by them because they did not have a air purifier, WITHOUT CALLING ME BACK! State Farm needed to ship another dispatcher. Had to give 1 star because can not do zero.
This company should be shut down. Waited at 9 degree weather for the projected 5 hours and they didn't reveal, once I called they got mad with me and wrapped. These men need to be jailed.
Horrible cancelled on me and Business, waited for them to Appear with out giving me a notice or a Telephone, very consultant that is Impolite Also, I would recommend looking a route that is different a lock
Wow, the worst experience , they had me waiting for over 3 hours never waited long for road assistance before, the driver lied and said that he came out to my location, he never called me or anything to confirm my location, I was there waiting with my 3yr old son at the sun for 3 months, I mean who does that, so I needed to call my insurance to send me roadside support again, if I can give them minus star I would, please people spend your money someplace else, this company is not woth your business, poor customer service too, they don't care
