Quick Key Locksmith

I didn't know where to turn and really locked my key in my car this afternoon. I did a search on google and am glad I came across Quick Key Locksmiths. Within 20 minutes of the first phone call, Mike, there came a technician. He had been kind, professional, and got the job done. I highly recommend them and am pleased with my selection!

They offered me $1000 to fix a door, a second alternative was called by me and it was.

They tried to scam me. Was told one price on a very different price and the phone in person. Tried to charge me $125 for a part that cost $20.

Quick service in a crisis situation! We have locked after hours out of the home and Mike came fast even when snowing. Price was quoted and he did it all in a flash. Will definitely use again.

I needed fob and a key for my Nissan Altima which needed to be cut and programmed. The Nissan dealer wanted a lot more and that I needed to come. Quick Key did a great job at half the price! They all don't have the ability to program fobs although I called locksmiths. I would return for work that is key or any additional lock.

Awesome locksmith they get the work done perfectly and fast! So that I came to Quick Key ace hardware messed up my keys 2x and they set me to get a price! Will be returning with troubles or all other lock!

The business is fantastic. The customer support is helpful and friendly. Mike came on time and done the work. He being patient answering my questions and is very professional. We're satisfied with the job. Highly recommended.

Michael drilled/replaced a lock & thoroughly and was prompt on a Saturday day.

I looked Garage Door Repair near Elmhurst up and came across Quick Key. Then because of the broken roller, it was suggested that I want the garage door to be more balanced and greased, etc.. The price for that is $179. Not thrilled about being given information, asking about price and describing the problem yesterday. If I was aware of the actual price I would not have selected this company. So, if you need a garage door repair, search on Yelp and locate.
Abel, the tech was really courteous and knowledgeable. I kind of feel bad then and that he comes out to people's houses has to share information that is entirely different from what was shared on the phone. If your parts don't add up to that, well, that is what you pay anyways. Much different than thinking that I was going to spend $45 on a service call plus maybe $20 or so for your roller.
When I phoned I realized they were really a locksmith, not a garage door that is committed repair firm. But they do fix garage doors as well. I called another firm that was 95 for the service call plus $10 for this particular part. So, naturally I went to save a little money.
The next day, on a positive note, they came out and the tech was able to finish the fix in under half an hour.

Same day service however they had been unable to repair the $100 I paid to get the matter is diagnosed by somebody my lock.

We moved into a new house and chosen to rekey instead of buy new locks. Mike came by and rekeyed not only the exterior doors however also the patio door as well. He kept us updated, Though he was somewhat later than intended - we don't mind waiting just a bit as long as we get upgraded. Mike did an excellent job and was quite friendly, professional.

Locked out on a Sunday evening having a preconceived notion that I was in for an extremely irritating and wallet emptying night. Fortunately I called these guys. Spoke to somebody right away who helped me with the confirmation procedure. 10 minutes after I received a call back to confirm a technician (Mike) will be out to me in about 40 minutes. Took a bit longer than that but understood Mike came some ways for me. Within 5 minutes of the arrival he had gotten me back. Payment took approximately 10 minutes on the telephone with his dispatcher there with Mike. Fairly priced and guys to work with.

I'm soooo thankful. Initially I called Key and American Lock and they never answered. QUICK KEY came away, although I called the company for 5 hours and hello Mike C. Was very efficient!!!! Thank you guys

Michael was outstanding and was our technician. He had been courteous, prompt thorough and considerate. We would highly recommend him (and Quick Key) and might intend on calling him again for any similar needs.

I was disappointed by this locksmith. My very first usage went nice... they never quoted me a price but sent someone to deal with the issue immediately. That technician was knowledgeable and very quick. I and he told him and me, respectively what I would need. In addition, he said since they had neglected to give me a quote up front I would get a call along with a 10% discount. It cost me $110 to take care but blamed myself for not asking ahead of time.
I feel as they tried to make the most of us and it makes me feel bad I thought this corporation would be fair and because the technician was so valuable. They should get their system arranged so that when you speak to somebody it is fully mentioned, and if they're fair and give everyone the same price they would not have any problem contradicting another.
The technician did not arrive during the two hour we had been awarded, he had been a half hour later than the end of the window although my husband had been told repeatedly that he had been on his way and would be there soon starting at the start of the window. When he arrived, he told my husband that hardware was not included in the quotation I were awarded and quoted a price that was actually DOUBLE the price.
The following use went poorly in the onset. As promised, I did get a phone. For what I wanted some advice collected out of me and gave me a quotation. She told me this quotation comprised all solutions and hardware. I didn't have my program on me, and that I offered to call me back the next day to place the appointment. Several days later I decided to simply call them. I spoke to another woman who said she had no record of the conversation and quotation. I reexplained everything and was provided a distinct, quote. This made me nervous and I asked if when the technician came out there could be'surprise' extra costs. This woman assured me that'was not how this firm did business' and the quotation are the price.

I ask for Mike and would definitely recommend them. He was fantastic!
This review is for the work accomplished by Mike C. from the Wheaton location. Mike showed up in time. He was friendly and respectful. He assessed the issue with the door handle and explained that we needed a latch. Pictures were taken by him and sent them to his supervisor. Mike hurried out and was back to my home in 30 minutes with the component. It was installed by him showed me his work and payment was easy.

Additionally, his office actually answered the phone...I called 3 other people before & got vm. . .not great once you're locked on a cold day!

I Urge Quick Key Locksmith. I was in need of a shift in locks at 7:15pm in fear of my safety and they were right on it. Mike replaced door lock and my deadbolt with a security lock and came out right away. Mike was very considerate, friendly professional and informative. He took my current door locks out and installed the new locks quickly. He was patient while I followed his instructions and educated me about the new locks. Mike really knows his locks it is almost as if he was born shifting locks....Way to go Quick-Key, You're awesome Mike!!!

Multiple locks were altered by mike . He was professional and did a wonderful job. He provided an estimate before any work was started and provided recommendations without being pushy. Would highly recommend.
