The locksmith opened the door and came. He charged $169! He explained the customer support was wrong, and he explained it is weekend and Halloween. Since now it is too late to discover another locksmith as they have structures in the day my buddy paid the $169.
Instead of using them, if I knew it had been $169, I would call other places.
Stay away. We ended up paying over 2x what their quote was.
A woman answered. I asked my buddy need to open the door. The speech is in Bellevue 98004 and also we like to program it on Saturday 2:30pm (later rescheduled to 9am) because I guess it would be more costly . The woman said the rate is 29.99 for flat service charge and 29.99 anticipated for its labour. She did say that the labour cost depends how complex the lock is and on how much the job would be. Because the lock is may be the easiest possible, I said okay. I installed it by myself for my buddy and bought the lock. I figured it would take a couple of minutes to get a pro. Even if the labour might not be $29.99, I believed it will be likely somewhere $30-40, making the total cost about $70.
