These men were super useful!
I expect to not want these men again (lol...) but I will def recommend them to a buddy!
I got locked out of my home (yeahI know... Not my very best moment...) and that I had a buddy who used them for a few work on her home, so she gave me my number. Right of the bat, they stated that because they were phoned by me I would get 10% off! I went back into my car to wait in the AC after I gave the lady on the phone my speech. The locksmith man came in like 20 minutes which I thought was good and opened up the door for me! So the entire procedure took about 30 minutes or so, and that I had been home.

They gave one price over the phone, then another when the"locksmith" arrived. However so I had no option except to pay the cost of $195. (Yes, he charged me $195 to break my lock two minutes, so I could get back into my house.) He wanted an additional $275 to fix my lock. I said not to bother he believed I was going to dispute the credit card charge, and he desired money or a copy of my driver's license! I felt very unsafe. He said that for taking him away from his loved ones for this job, I should have kissed him!! NOT KIDDING! I called the direction and said I would report him and the company. They said they would reverse the fee. Never happened. When I called the company back to complain and try to find the credit, they said I waited and hung up on me!! They're CRIMINALS! DON'T LET THEM INTO YOUR HOUSE!
These people are crooks! Plus they've crooks working for them. Read the other reviews!! They're around California, not only Los Angeles. LA is where the call center is located (aka somebody's house.) We have all had the experience. (They're also call R Locksmith.) I have reported them to Better Business Bureau!!

This really is the worst company in history! Don't call them! My parents ripped off yesterday. They tried to bill them over $400 using a 30 power tool to take our door knob off. And they needed money and when my dad threatened to take them he dropped the cost. Nevertheless, it was still over $300. I wish they would've read these reviews. This company needs to to be closed down!

Very impolite tech. He had lots of attitude. They quote low and when the technician shows up ask for the amount. Would not need to get ripped off with this company.

RIP-OFF!The great: locksmith showed up over 20 minutes and unlocked my car to get me (I locked the keys inside) in less than 5 minutes
In summary, find somebody else.

The bad: I had been charged $225! For less than 5 minutes of labor. I had my car unlocked , last year and has been charged $60 for the specific same service. I had been wrong when I told this fact he dismissed it and said to the locksmith. My telephone had been dead at this point so I had no choice but to pay and I had been in a hurry. What a rip off.

Worst experience ever. Called this company to get back into my apartment this morning - after I called but they said it would be 15 minutes, that the man shows up until 45 minutes. Charged me $189 - took him two minutes to do the job.
They won't quote you the price over the telephone - just the $15 service charge. They then offer you a minimum of $165 fees after it's completed.
I never leave poor reviews but this was simply terrible.

This really is the worst company I've every had to deal with. I am sorry I phoned them. They billed 3 times what the cost to receive a front door open and demanded cash. When needing a locksmiths, do not call this business

Complete SCAM. AMENDED: WHEN I CALLED THE MANAGER, HE WAS EVEN WORSE. THEY SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS, THEY ARE TOTAL SCAM ARTISTS
DON'T CALL THIS COMPANY!!
I had to have the Rock a Lock technician Elie escorted from my property. I phoned San Mateo Locks at San Mateo to get a locksmith. I ended up using Rock a Lock, and it was awful. The technician showed up and said I had complex locks also it'd be $500 to get a back and front door. I said that seems high but ok. He then told me that he had to go to Home Depot to get the screwdriver, but I had to pay him $150, before he abandoned. I said if he finished the job, not 15, I would pay him. I requested him to come back as it got late, and that I had guests coming over. He got testy. I called my next door neighbor escort him and to come over. He did. Don't call this company, it's a scam. Judging from the reviews that are bad, I'm not.

Swings by, no call. No call, 2:45 pm. I eventually called them at 2:50pm and inquired in which the locksmith was. The dispatcher said he would check and have the locksmith call me back. The locksmith called me at 2:55pm and said that he couldn't make it until 3:45pm or maybe 4:00pm at the oldest. And when he ends up not making that it might have to be the morning after. WTF? Really? Would you guys have NO REGARD for other people's time?
Fortunately I called another locksmith who provided an price quote with no service fees and taxes included and who was able to get there within 20 mins.
Since generally I think there is enough 17, I really don't write reviews on here. However, a review is warranted by this area. This place was predicted by me at 10:30am. They support the Sacramento and surrounding regions and they've a 15-45 min guarantee, and so I figured they'd arrive punctually. I didn't even want them that soon. I made an appointment for 2:30 pm thinking that could give them more than enough time to make my appointment period together. My car was locked in a merchant yard so I wanted them to be on time or at least on 30, and they close the gate at 3:30 pm.
I can say, but the dispatchers seem to be friendly, but it doesn't translate over to their locksmiths. Oh and let's not overlook the fact that they won't quote you an actual cost when everybody who's called a locksmith knows exactly what the going rate is for a transponder key. Don't believe their online discount. They will only quote you a cost when they arrive. I'm serious about this one... AVOID. AT. ALL. COSTS.

Rock A Lock Locksmith tricked me into paying $285 for entrance into an apartment with a standard economy quality Schlage door lock. The entire process that was destructive took 4 minutes. I denied although then the tech wanted to charge 385. I would rate them as unethical and deceptive; I won't ever use them .

Ty Quite Mach for my Automobile unlocking service I Had Been taking stuff from the car and the Doorway just close on me I called the local locksmith and Obtained Pleasure to com in and unlock the car very fast lucky for me I did not miss my Television show so thank you for the Support today you rock

SUMMARY:Office schedules 3:30 PM appointment, however, technician arrives at 4:30 PM. Technician blames client for lack of overdue and communication reaction.
Tech neglects and tries to pick on hitch lock. Customer ends up paying service fee. Incomplete task and service. Customer is not pleased. Technician suggests client to drill it all themselves? Very unprofessional. Technician asks client why hitch needs to be removed (that is representative of technician's incompetence and lack of knowledge of what a job is).
Technician looks very irate and gets with manager utilizing foreign language. Hangs up phone and proceeds with job.
0 Stars if possible. Bad customer service and terrible experience that is on-site with technician. Discrepancies with what has been communicated to client via telephone vs. on-site. Lack of complete disclosure. Failed attempt at picking a hitch lock. Technician needed a argumentative and combative demeanor and character. Overall encounter, bad organization. A waste of energy, money, and time.
PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! THERE ARE HONEST LOCKSMITH Businesses, AND OTHER HIGHLY RATED, PROFESSIONAL.

Office informs customer that service fee has been $10 + $25 for hitch pick. Technician assesses hitch and informs + 150 for hitch pick to customer service charge is $15. BIG DIFFERENCE! Customer is confused and informs technician.
If you own or operate this business, please contact me on Yelp. I'll be delighted to provide info. As described in Yelp my experience outweighs your company specialties.
Office fails to inform customer that hitch would need to be evaluated to determine price. Customer wouldn't have proceeded with company.

EXPERIENCE:

Locksmith came by, sort of fixed the lock for $204. Subsequently did this to the plate. Called Rock-a-lock and sent a photo. NO response. Called and asked if they got the email,"possibly, the supervisor will call you straight back" No response. I am attaching a photo of this damage. The locksmith called back once I discovered his card and showed him the harm"I will fix it, but it is going to get worse". Not precisely what I wished to hear. Never apply these guys.

Over-all it was a very great experience. Good price, did not take long, friendly support. I would use them again.
I am surprised that their evaluation is low. Perhaps are better.
Discovered Rock-a-lock online, the man was able to come to my house, and so I believed that was a plus.

Beware. . .this organization is a rip off. They charged me $1000 and never finished the job. I needed to enter my home and they showed up in wrecked van up. The man did not know how to"select my locks", therefore that he proceeded to drill them out and bill me for crappy locks which didn't work. He left my home and without a bolt on my garage door overnight. Steer clear of this company or you will be ripped off.
I would if I could give them a zero. RIP OFF ALERT

Do. They arrived quickly this afternoon here in San Francisco and the tech"David" gave me two choices, one such as the use of a"unique tool" which wouldn't require my locked being taken out and a new one being replaced. The price of this"special tool" option was more than just the labor. Obviously being in a hurry, I was stuck and had to proceed with all the"special tool" option. It was the locksmith wire that is standard that technicians have After he got it out of his automobile. I called him and he got flustered and defensive. This company is a scam and don't use them. I wish to warn people although this is one of the few reviews I've ever written.
Not. Use. This. Company.

Not thirty minutes after this guy left, I moved out to walk the dog, remembering my keys this time. The key did not even fit in the lock when I returned. . .and I had been locked out Another TIME!!! I called the company, and also a different guy called stating that the technician who initially helped me's phone was not working. Waited an additional 45 minutes for the new guy to appear and repair the problem... by this time it was 1am.
Positive feedback is that the technicians are nice,Ami was the guy and he was nice and helpful.
Avoid this place, wish before I predicted I'd read the yelp reviews first!! Expensive lesson learned.
Got locked called these men and they arrived within 45 minutes. I asked the secretary how much it would cost and she would tell me was a service fee and whatever the technician needed to charge based on the type of lock. The technician was nice and friendly enough, but he charged me $200 for a 30 service!!! And, he told me the price as he was opening the door!!! That I had been in a frame of mind, although I must have told him to stop.

He unforgettably took good advantage of this fact that events frazzled me to bill me $250 for a service which must have cost me $120 - as this was the second time this 39, that I understand.
I left on holiday for two weeks after this occurred. I had an impression into when I returned my place would be broken. It was not.
- the locksmith which was discharged was unethical.
- replace and Agree to convince he needed to drill the deadbolt. When I insisted he first try to"knock it open"he did. He wished to make the most money possible on the call.
Prior to calling ans ask for pricing over the phone PLEASE look at references.
- He devised a price to get a door knob + dead bolt.
- He didn't provide an bill that is complete and couldn't show a price list to me.

We called 925-291-4003 Recorded as Locksmith Livermore and made a appointment - We had been told to substitute a door lock its a 15.00 service telephone and 35.00 labor - Yeah Right $109.00 later he replaced only a door latch they billed 59.00 for - If we needed our lock installed it would have been an extra 89.00 - Rip Off - they're misleading - When we finally got a copy of the invoice which was another awful experience ( they e mail it to you ) its below Rock A lock that isnt who I called??

So, I'm getting out of my car, manually lock the door, and closed it. As the door clicked into place I realized,"Oh $#! I just locked my keys in my car!" And it's hella cold and outdoors too.
I recall hearing from a fantastic friend about these men and gave them a call. Apartment a tech was at my car, popping my door like it ain't no thang but a chicken wing, and swiping my card to get a sweet price. The technology was super professional and friendly .
I opted from the car lock out 21, because I'm a student although I've car insurance. Can I mention that it was hella windy and cold outside?
Thanks Rock-A-Lock! You saved my wallet AND my butt!
