Velocity Lock & Key

I needed to find a key for the brand new electric car that I purchased. Two dealership went to charge up to $500. The locksmith who come to your home were going to charge me $300.
Velocity billed me $82.50 including tax and created the duplicate in under 15 minutes.
True my key doesn't have a remote feature so I don't have a panic button to go off accidentally, but I am not complaining.

I had another issue that is lock. Julie advised me regarding a replacement and educated me. Materials at this shop's support and quality are outstanding.

I've used this company for may issues. They are knowledgeable and friendly, and react quickly. Their solutions are priced.
I recommend them to others and would use they.
I've had 20 keys and each of them worked. I sent them out into some property that I handle and they they have fixed the issue quickly and efficiently both times.

The best lock/key place you may find. They are very experienced. When they cut you a secret, it works everytime. They do Mercedes security keys for a car that was really old, I was amazed.

Whoever answers the telephone at this location is a little guy. I have called twice and both times talked to the guy that has been rude and dismissive. I asked if they were available to perform a very simple job, shifting out some locks, and also this guy acted like I was asking the most stupid question he'd been asked. It was amusing after he hung up on me the second time how this guy was. I should have known from the time not to call them. Seriously call someone else so you are not subject to this guys bad attitude.

Tiny shop that has lots of lock goods that are relevant. I wanted a barrel duplicated & he did it.

I manage some property in Albany that it has a number of components. Seem to have problems with keys or locks. I've had speed lock take care of my problems many times and I've gotten to know them. Julie and Eddie conduct an exceptional business. Their job is outstanding. I would recommend them without reservation.

I am very impressed with Velocity. It was a breeze to telephone and make an appointment to have Eddy (the owner) come outside to start a locked storage cupboard and create new keys.

I recently had my house rekeyed. The guy showed up on time and has been finished in half an hour. About what I would expect the pricing has been. Not inexpensive, based on past experience, but not crazy. If the guy who came out was a doctor I would say his bedside manner wasn't the greatest, but he got the work done and did not break anything in the procedure.

Me: Well, do you know when you have the right batteries to go with this?
Me: Would you know how to start these?

Empty stare. That was it. I left the shop empty-handed and moved to Al Lashers at Berkeley (best shop ever!) . They spent 10 minutes , got the right battery and delivered me away joyful. Eddie Pledger from Velocity left me to compose to Yelp. Repeat clients are the bread and butter of any business. Wouldn't hurt you to understand that. And. . .don't turn clients come in to fix basic key issues. Solve the issue, charge the fee and find a fantastic Yelp review. Or don't and fill your review column up with single yellowish celebrities.
Me: I've had difficulty opening the casing.
Eddie: I don't know, I might. I've made tools in the past to do it.
Me: Yeah, I tried that and it started to crack.
Me: Can you have a tool to pry them open?
Me: Well, with no battery in, I sure don't want to leave here. I could attempt to start it. Can you allow me to use one of the resources to start it.
Eddie: I don't let my resources are used by people.
Eddie: I might, but I don't understand unless its opened.
I join others who have been shunned by the proprietor Eddie Pledger. Julie Pledger is helpful and professional. Eddie is unfriendly and unwilling to help. I came in with a car secret that needed a fresh battery. It went as follows:

Really great support. I needed a part for my neglecting lock, and not only did they sell me the role, but they took the opportunity to describe what was wrong with how the lock was set up which was causing the part to fail in the first location.

Do not patronize this store unless absolutely necessary. The guy who served me was ugly in his behaviour and mean. Go there in the event that you want to get abused and insulted.

I discovered Velocity Lock & Key to yelp from where I live so I decided to give them a phone and they have been found right around the corner. The owner said he had been in so I dropped by.
He took a look and said he had seen it. A few minutes after he walked out with a working copy of the key for my lock and it only cost me $3.
I had to get a key. they told me to go to a locksmith ACE or house depot could make the lock.
I was very impressed.

Anyone is taking a risk of disappointment. Not only is that the man unfriendly to the point of rudeness, he's incompetent. It cost $26 was that the Schlage key. NONE of the keys worked. I returned the mailbox keys, so he fiddled with themhad no hint to mend them other than"bring from the lock whenever they neglect;t work today". They didn;t work, and he had gone when I returned in 4:20 PM no sign on the door, no posted hours gone. This place is a total lost cause.
I've been disappointed by this man and his attitude that was poor but have gone because of their'convenience' of him being close by and also a'locksmith'. Never again. I'll go I'll visit Home Depot, I'll go anywhere but this place.

My support was excellent. Came in to cut on my key to get a 2011 camaro and had a hassle free experience. Didn't up selling me anything such as the simple fact or programming that I brought my sterile key and key fob that I bought for an extremely affordable price. I did a walk in and was outside in less than 10 mins, joyful and satisfied. The lady who did what was coo she's a mommy and loves the Norcal car. . .scene. For all you car folks looking to have your problems should try out this place .

The service person that is very best I have had in many decades. Friendly, fast service. Knew his stuff. Perfectly cleaned up. Provided advice that was great. Very fair price.

Super helpful. I took photographs of a door missing employees and a knob could see what had been done previously, noticed a doorknob that functioned. He took the time to make sure I knew how to install what he sold me. He might have insisted on a home visit I could manage for tens of thousands of dollars, but didn't. Amazing. After living for years with no one I have a doorknob in my bedroom . Thank you!!!

They make it up, although I understand that Mom & Pop can not always compete on cost. If he'd smiled and stated,"I might cost a little more, but you're here now, so why don't you have it done?" I would have said why not? However, his surly attitude put me off this store for good.
