I was in a situation that carried on for awhile, San Carlos lock and key were all the men I turned also. David is the guy from this location that made sure that the job got done and matters were satisfactory and actually came thru. I have a hard time trusting people but this really is a man of the word. He was a man of the word and was easy to speak with.
Their online prices recorded lockout beginning at $29 + 35. Just after the work has been completed, quoting me felt deceptive, although I did expect to pay a premium for evening services. Frankly fix and it might have been more economical to break a window instead.
When using San Carlos Lock & Key for home lockout services, beware. They charged me $299 for services that were lockout to break my lock offered to substitute it for an extra $250.
The service call to rekey one lock when he came he said it would be $189 +. Approximately $220 for a single door rekeyed. This type of pricing is not anywhere close to what they market ("Rekey Locks Starting at $18"). And this is middle of the week service call with no extenuating circumstances, a no rush. A entire rip off. I feel stupid for having him do the job. I should have paid the service call charge and booted him.
I phoned them and tried to find a rough quote for a lock installment on front door.I assume this is a really standard job. However, the guy insisted on sending someone over to test although I'm just asking for a rough quote and that could cost 29 dollars anyway. Then he started whining and yelling that I wasted his time. Smh...

Ben arrived to me within 20 minutes. He was professional and friendly. Without breaking anything, my home opened and that I was fulfilled from the price.

IT must have been a low low tier Schlege make it felt cheap. After he left I looked at the door jam and schlege says schlege on it. This said.

The following day I had been looking at the bill and realized the service call was 49.00. I asked how much was a service call and call Ben upward like I was a brand new customer. He quoted me 29. again. Hung up the phone and 30 minutes later I predicted questioning him about my support fee. As soon as I asked him I had been charged 49.00 his response was" depends upon where you live" I close by. That's not what you said 30 minutes past when I predicted. He kept on backtracking his response and making excuses up. He told me he will ask his"supervisor" Adam, the tech came over to change the lock and give me 20.00 back.
Questioned Ben about the staying 29.00 going towards the bill and once more he backtracks his response.
In addition to it, Adam made it seem like he was doing me a favor by changing the lock rather than charging me.

I recently called for prices and they said it had been 29.00 for a service call (but you get the 29.00 to go towards the bill if you've service) and when the tech came out he'd give you a cost. I find it to be a crock of s--t. Really, I told you what I needed & you cant give me a price over the phone?? Anyhow whenever you are desprite you'll accept it.

This is to start a locked door. Without a lock that is smart is locked, by just a regular door knob gadgetry. Go figure.
Do not Call the these men to get an help. They charge you and don't understand what the hell to do, they not professional at all. Money snare.
Cheater. They give you a"quote" by telephone, let you wait around for hours after the time the promised to be there, then bill you 10x more than they quoted because"the lock is a smartlock type" (to get a normal lock type). I honestly mean the quote that is 10x. They know you're desperate (otherwise I would not be calling a locksmith) and make the most of you.
This is actually the locksmith that is worst . I feel cheated, robbed.

So I have paid $99 for nothing but a man to come out shoot two pictures and do nothing for me but waist my time.
I tried calling Google and Keylo Locksmith messed up and led me . Jay never mentioned he wasn't Keylo if I reached Keylo when he answered the telephone, even though I asked and answered the telephone.
How can you trust a locksmith that does not follow up on the job they were paid by you and is located to your face?
For my lock requirements, I'll continue to visit Keylo. They know what they are currently doing with reasonable rates and have been honest.
Jay came out and looked at the doorways. He explained he said it would go towards any work and would follow up and charged me $99 and took photos. Following a week I called back to followup since I hadn't heard back from him. When I got a grip of Keylo he explained that there's no Jay at their location.
Everybody else just lent the job - some asked for photographs, but nobody insisted on coming to my home first.
Very strange experience. Please check the reviews for this business experiences like mine. Figuring out Yelp's online quote form just got two 3 word reply"Need More Info". They desired my address right away, when I tried calling them. When I said no thanks, they got really rude and started saying"we are professional people and will need to visit your home". I told them thank you, but we will go a different way, and he started lifting his voice about how I was not respecting him as a professional and they will need to see the job.
I called these men to get a quote about some keys. This guy was unprofessional and rude, I am glad he was on the other end of the telephone and not in front of me. Would have gone badly. You have been warned

I received a voicemail from a man saying he had been the owner and also THREATENING TO SUE ME (!!) Over the poor Yelp review.
I went into the shop to get copies of my home and behold they're closed. . .and the hours on yelp says open 24/7. I called to confirm not or if he is receptive and he advised me to proceed Home Depot. Has the nerve to call me later and started harassing me many times. WTH?? I'm forced to offer A star to him but really he does not deserve to possess ANY customers. You've got major issues. . .get anger management!!
