Came by our house on a Sunday after a bedroom doorway was locked by our children. He saved the day and was really so fine that he gave the tool to us so if it happened again we could open it . Very nice and professional guy.

Owner knows what he is doing. Good attitude. We are going to use him fair prices, for all our rental properties.

A locksmith was needed by me in Poway to get my parents' house. They freaked out a bit about using a front door with no lock that was functioning. I guess I did not blame them. Well - I turned to my Yelp people and discovered the Scottish Locksmith. I actually went to call a few different people before I called them but I dialed the number and hung up. And Alan called me asking if I needed some help. Another locksmith Alan delivered came and managed to repair their lock by installing a brand new one, although he had been outside of town. Fast service. Approximately $125 to set up a new lock in the door.

He was efficient, quick, polite and fairly reasonably priced. Good experience, I might recommend & would use him again if need arises.

Just moved into our new house and needed a locksmith in the area. Located Alan through his yelp testimonials and he did not disappoint. Showed up on time and has been thorough in altering our locks. Offered recommendations for safety, and even was so kind to run to the shop to pick up new door knobs for us (ours were broken), because we did not understand what we needed to get. Had a small issue with one of the locks a few days later - called Alan and he came by soon fix and after to test out it. Really if necessary pleasant experience and would use him again.

Beautiful, efficient, and higher quality services! Alan was the gentleman who met us (since we are opening a new shop and needed to rekey the locks to perform the job ). I'd called the day before to ask whether he could meet with us at 2:30 PM at our location and he arrived early, was an absolute pleasure to talk and socialize with and took the work seriously (still easygoing with a nice demeanor though!) , and was effective and prompt in his job - a great experience and fairly priced and I would recommend Alan and Scottish Locksmith to anybody looking for this service!

We had been on a search once we found out they don't make or keep a copy of any mailbox keys to replace the lock on the mailbox, despite what the USPS website states. After an all day wild goose chasewe found that neither Home Depot, Ace, Walmart, Lowes, etc. carried the particular lock we needed for our community mailboxes. We stopped as the team closed up and about to lock up to the night. We advised the locksmiths they had been our last resort before needing to get online and pay the cost for an lock. We were grateful they really were willing to stay open a couple of minutes simply to help out us. The staff here were very educated, very accommodating and professional despite of arrival. This business is highly recommended by us!
