Enjoy shopping local owned shops and this one is great...
Went here in order to cut a Vespa scooter key that's difficult to find... purchased the key out of a merchant that didn't cut secrets.... Brought it in and they cut the key for 6.00
Great enough selection pulled out my charge card and ordered it to pay for it.
At that point, we were informed that there is for using credit card, a surcharge. No sign of the displayed anywhere in the shop.
We 2019, everybody pays for everything. I felt this was not an up front method of doing business.
Line - will never do business with them again.
Worst service asked to change all my locks and called them. They said that they will call me back to let me know date and the time. Instead they call me back and tell me . I'm rushing out of effort to get there and they predict saying the guy. I explain the situation and they ship him back. The guy that shows up in my house calls me and begins yelling at me. I told him I am there what's your problem, he pops up in my head. I pull around my house and inquire what his problem is and explain that a mistake was made by his office, he starts going off and jumps and says I do not get paid to squander my time. I'm in the costumer service business and I wouldn't ever talk like this to somebody. They simply dropped my business and anyone else's that must deal with that jerk! I don't recommend this firm!!

Don't go to create spare keys.

These people are fantastic. I had a door lock rekeyed plus they have there within three hours. Man came to help & extended me the courtesy of charge for a day and I am quite happy with their work. Highly recommended
My door lock broke and I was locked out of the home. I called the shop and they sent someone over. The guy was friendly, friendly and very effective. As a matter of fact I'm going to be calling them to replace some locks.

I wanted to replaced of the door knobs in my house with something other home depot or limited choice and midline quality. This is a little shop with a selection and really nice support. Shipping was speedy and my order was complete.
Steve cut my extra pair of keys for all our cars and they are the special security kind. In addition, he made transponders (remotes) for its cars too. Saved me a trip to 2 auto dealers!
Service has been locked out by them. Don't ask how I know that;)

The Syosset Lock Shop replaced my kitchen door has made keys for me on many occasions, lock lots of years back, and replaced a side door lock.
They are doing quality work. They work fast. And thirdly (or if this be first?) , they are honest.
I trust these men!
I never want to cover a locksmith - would like to have it done cheaply. However, I've found it's worthwhile to employ the Syosset Lock Shop. I know they will work When I get keys made by them; I'll not have trouble with it when a door lock is installed.
The gentleman who replaced my own lock took about 15 minutes Now. During this time he had to correct the door's framework so the lock will work properly. Before he left, he had me use the key. He was also very favorable.
I would call them expensive, but worthwhile. For the waste of money and time in the Home Depot with faulty copy keys, and handiman installations of locks that end up sticking and possibly locking you out or not bending at all, it's just better to proceed with the pros - in least THESE pros.
Since the case was cracked I came here to get a replacement key for my Honda Civic. They were able to replace the casing to something stronger, and to cut me a spare key which will begin my vehicle and open the doors that I can use as a spare. Everyone in the shop, Greg and Steve, were knowledgeable and exceptionally helpful. I'm impressed with the service and the economies. Thanks, can't recommend enough.
