After a disappointing experience with ABC Locksmith (on 18th and Mission) I was nearly willing to give up with this particular project.
He walked over with me, tried something inventory out, it did not work, but advised me if I bring the door back, he could custom make something for me personally.
But my souls were restored by the friendly proficiency in this business of the owner. I needed a lock for a metal cabinet that I had just bought employed, and I had it sitting in a pickup truck that I was able to park throughout the road.
So I brought from the doorway, and he'd shaped a hole in the doorway and that for $35. Highly suggested!
I was fortunate to discover this locksmith, thanks to this referral by a merchant on Mission road.
Yelp, if I'm not a hand customer why do I have their reception?
These men had my yelp review eliminated. But all should know that this company is over charging. They charged me $580.00 to re key lock at a job site in the mission. As somebody in the development and construction business this should only cost $150-250. Don't use these men.
When he got he immediately became defensive and dishonest once he watched my boyfriend. We had been thanking him, as we were walking up to our flat. He gave away the sense that he was on drugs or simply on edge for some reason despite being pleasant and discovered nothing funny.
When I called everything sounded fine and the individual on the other end of the line said he couldn't be there now and that I should call somebody else. He then stated that he'd earn a U-turn and really come help out me and called back. Awesome!
As he walked away he cursed off us repeatedly. It left me dizzy up for another couple of days and had been a dreadful experience. Don't trust this company!
Pretty much the wildest / worst.
After we got to our door he began to work, but within 5 seconds requested my boyfriend to leave because he felt"under pressure" Obviously, we mentioned. This man just looked so cracked out and the tension was large in that instant. We stated no and that he should leave. He had such an unpleasant attitude and simply looked so deranged which I thought for sure we were going to get robbed.
Called while I had calls in to other areas to find a quote. Was told that prior to pricing it the locksmith would have to come look that logic has trapped folks earlier. I'm not letting someone into my location. Looks like a reasonable request. But we went with somebody that provided a quote. The business kept calling me over and over later I told them I was going with somebody else. Then they texted me"go right ahead and hang up loser." I didn't hang up - and that is single handedly the most egregious thing I have ever experienced.
John was my locksmith and has been nice and useful. I locked myself and John kept me how long he went to shoot. He had been really punctually and adapting! We destroyed our door handle and obtained in. All that and no additional charges bs. Chill dude. Thanks John!
Once I locked the keys in the 21, I had been at a friend's place for business, staying in SF. West Coast assisted me. They were personable and fast to act. They saved the day! Highly suggested!
Roy is a genius! He also fixed the lock to my Barbershop onto the door. This afternoon, I came to work, and I couldn't get in! The bolt froze closed. I could open, but he prevailed, although it took an hour persistence to Roy. Thanks so far, Roy!
I thought the man got my own key made and was quick. He knew what building I had been out of based on the key and told me it was $20 for the backup since it was a type of key. I have never left a key for this flat before so I thought him. Because he knew I did not know turns out, he had been just overcharging. Other tenants in my building explained they have gone into other areas in the area that charged a great deal less (just like $3 or less).
If your key is nondescript he will charge a reasonable fee, I figure but he did not for me. Go elsewhere for a deal that is fair.
I needed since I gave out the a variety of cat sitters I have at my home on a rotating basis all of my spares keys made. Looked on Yelp and found that this place not too far. I had my collection of exterior and interior home keys replicated twice in less than two minutes for $2 each ($8 complete ). It was quick and cheap and the keys work fine. I was looking for a place that I could make copies and this is it!
These men a complete cons. The guy shows, up would not give a quote, and when I told him I would not have him start until I get a quote he said a quote can be given by his boss. The boss had no advice on what the job was so I asked why it'd cost that much. Now the guy in front of me looks frustrated. He takes the phone from me, tells his boss that he this I can't afford it. So I'm obviously tell them that I'm not going to get the task done and suspicious at this point.
It is completely loosed by the guy. Racial slurs and remarks that were other followed. Also the men texted me more offensive things later. So watch out for these men.
In my way home from San Fran I locked my keys in my car and I needed to call a locksmith right away and they had been the nearest to me at that time and not only did I never have to wait for a super long time for service however the locksmith was super friendly and made me laugh! I had a car and was able to make it home before sunrish and that is mattered to me the most
Use Go locksmith instead- much better service
Then was rude when I asked him just to come back.
Waited 40 minutes locked out even though he stated he'd be here in 15min. A neighbor walked by so I took his phone and called to find out what happened - was told"you weren't there" despite sitting in the buildings door the whole time.
Waiting in line somewhere and that he will be there"if he's done, probably in 15-20 minutes".
I hit the amount again the guy told me he's
Sorry but no, won't be waiting.
Called to see if they can copy my key. The guy said yes he can. I asked when is he open, when should I encounter. He said come tomorrow after 10 am.
Thank you for wasting my time
So I really did. I requested a lyft, took of from work and went there. It was 10:20. The shop was closed.
Great service!! I turned out to be near my job and yelped this location. Came here during lunch time as I needed extra copies of my keys. Very fast. . .came in and left in about two minutes. Payed like 2 dollars per key created.
Boy do I have a review for you. I'm in the Pest Control industry and we fumigate homes which requires the homeowner to leave the doors unlocked and the keys in our ownership. We place the tarps and tent and pump it full of gas. Our tech managed to lock the secrets of the house inside of the house although I don't know what occurred on this day but. I know right? So after looking around I discovered West Coast emergency and prayed they have the availability to come out to save. I can't remember the gentleman's name who answered the phone but he changed some things around and send a technician out instantly. That I ended up paying them two because the tech somehow managed to lock his keys in the vehicle. You cannot make this stuff up. Being a couple hundred miles off I wasn't able to ring the technicians like you would expect. The only comfortI got from the situation knew that everything was cared for and ended nicely. What a terrible terrible day that was rescued by this locksmith

The guy told me to"fuck off bitch, die" because I asked him for a quote before he came . Needless to say, I would not recommend using this company.

Needed to make a key that no one else could make.
Quick and great price! Awesome find!! Thank you!
They were very quick to respond and were great to deal with! Can use again in a different emergency!

Unbelievably rude on the telephone - with what other people have said I hesitate to publish the language used but concordant.
