On my first visit I was impressed by knowledge, their customer support and pricing. Struck me as a family business that was successful, established.
I purchased a $3000 secure from Whitley's lock and secure and have had nothing but issues with the product and owner. As per discussed and annotated on the receipt, the secure was delivered on a Wednesday. On TuesdayI receive a call from my wife stating that someone was. She ends up taking off from work (instructor ) and must use an absence. The shipping guy got a really poor attitude with her and used. Later the sales person (Dave) admits this was his error. Dave also told me that every shelf could resist 100 pounds of weight over, so I could store a number of items that were heavy on each shelf. This advice was inaccurate and a deal breaker in my opinion. Additionally, every shelf in the safe was installed improperly. I made the mistake of testing one of the shelves and an entire box of silver bars (20 pounds ) crashed through the shelf and scratched up my hardwood flooring. So I've got major scratches and an secure bars in my floor. Had the secure been sent the day it was supposed to I would have shipped it back and not accepted it. I was very clear with them about not being there until that therefore I feel that cost me an additional $300 and they strove to pull a scam on me all while the shipping guy cussed at my wife. After a couple of weeks of waiting they send out a locksmith to my home to evaluate the situation. He laughed when he saw they had all been installed wrong and went by shelf. In his words he said"man, this has been like the perfect storm." He left the shelfs all off, since he confessed that this secure will not work for what I'm using it for since the base is made from particle board. I asked him what were the next steps and he gave me a very cold look and said"I'm not the boss, however you'll come to hear from him." I've since called Whitley's 3 distinct times and have been told Todd (proprietor ) would phone me back. He never has, therefore I chose to proceed by last week and was dismissed by the way I was treated. I explained again that the safe was delivered on the day and all the other issues that have gone wrong. He looked at me and said,"too poor, the secure was delivered."
Yes discovered a couple that were a small bit more affordable but Whitley's had the best customer support! Dave was who I talked to over the telephone and he was very helpful. Can't remember the title of the guy that came out and unclocked my vehicle but he was also quite professional and friendly. The whole procedure took under 5 minutes. I will certainly recommend this place!
There are just two lock-and-key geniuses and a few of them asks how he could help me. I explain my situation and in a few moments I have two - not one - but two habit. One is an specific replica of the key I earned, and the other one is increased .015 (fifteen thousandths) to adjust for (get this) AGE. The lock, the key, they've worn down with time, but this copy - well this copy is similar to the clone!
I will be back.
This time came for this man (that is me) last week, even as soon as a copy of a copy of a copy of a key no longer functioned properly in a usual lock in a client's house. As you can imagine, even when you're intending to market a house, this isn't a good scenario.
Do not think so.
Obviously the identical copy didn't work. The age-adjusted key worked like a champ. We were saved by totally , and my customers were fairly impressed, too. Do you think the local hardware store could've done ?
I call to make sure they are open (locksmiths are notorious for having a shop that they are never at because the cash is in the cell support ) and sure enough, they are there!
There comes a moment, in every man's life, when he can no longer depend on the key scanning/imaging/cutting technology in a"local" (national series ) hardware shop, and has to lean on the experience and expertise of a locksmith who has honed his skill in his trade for decades upon decades.
Amazing, client services that is gentlemanly! And they came right off and had my vehicle unlocked in a jiffy!
These are the guys when you have outside, locked security problems, that you want to use. Or have your ignition key get stuck at the switch for example me. Because of Jason and company I had been back on the road. They were slammed today and were able to match me . Thanks guys. They are experts in their area and are very considerate, a must when you're in business.
You'd never understand that, although key provider is offered by the Home Depot. There is not any bell that goes off when you walk through the door. The crucial section is always empty with all the huge question of"Who does the keys?"
1 afternoon I got sick of this treatment and decided to check out Whitley's. What a difference a decision makes. Within 5 minutes, I'd 15 keys made for the shop I worked for.
I am not sure I would be happy cutting keys all day, although the service was great, not friendly. He got the job done and to get a couple more pennies on the dollar, in record time comparable to The Home Depot.
These places are what makes trade much better for the natives. Since I know I am I will always go for lock service to Whitley's.
I called Whitley's Lock & Safe to come unlock my car after I locked my keys inside (oops). Both the person who answered the man who arrived to unlock the car and the telephone were extremely nice and friendly. Regaining my automobile took a lot of five seconds, and it was cheap. There's a coupon for $10 off a service call on Angieslist.com (where they have roughly 40 positive reviews).
