I phoned a few contractors before I got a hold of Peterman and they did a heckuva job and set up a complete new air conditioner and all new ductwork along with a forced air unit. I dealt with John Spears, he had been outstanding to deal with - no issues. I thought the cost was reasonable three days 14, and they did the job and they knocked it! I am super happy with the experience. Thank you John, I greatly appreciate it!

Update!!! Following my trying and horrible experience with Peterman's, Nabor Tile LLC did a job finishing my bathroom. BUT. . .once again, Peterman's has damaged my bathroom. No water to sink and the toilet drain was set out. Toilet ought to 9' from wall BUT its 12'. This cannot be fixed. So my toilet sits too far out. Basically in middle.
After spending $4352 with Peterman's And following their mess, I invested another $3000 fixing. And I forgot to mention in the review. That after they did all the pricey piping. My toilets would not flush. They sent 3 different guys on 3 different occasions. They began to tell me I had pipes that are old and wanted yet another, roughly worth of new pipe. Thank goodness I'd run out of cash. They didnt fix the issue. Instead I needed to find another plumber, Maxwell's, they discovered that, from the occupation of the Peterman, there were metal shaving in my pipe port. Peterman's stated they did not do it. But they didnt seem or check out it . I simply wanted new pipes. Well, this nightmare only keep moving. JUST DONT USE PETERMAN'S

Installation day--our installers, Justin and Daniel arrived on time and got right to work. We have an older home, and they ran into a few snags, but handled it like pros. They kept us appraised of the progress through the day, and were friendly yet professional.
We checked several areas, and all the prices on furnaces were fairly similar. A few bucks more, right, although some a few less from the ballpark.
Once the furnace was installed, operating, and up and tested, the left our home in great shape and did an excellent job of cleaning up.
We could not be happier . We made the right choice.

We picked Peterman based on the salesperson who visited our home to provide us the price. He made us feel pressured to buy, and never was friendly and professional. He just laid out our options/prices, and basically said"In case you require, us, phone us". We loved that he did not force us to create an on the spot decision.

Needed to have these men come out today to do some work in my plumbing. I have had them out for work in the past and always found them to be useful, professional, and timely.

I am explaining the issue, and they assured me we'd be taken care of today. After hanging up, in TWO MINUTES I got a phone call in the repairman letting me know he would arrive at our house in 20-30 minutes. He was friendly and polite on the phone.
We returned home to find our furnace not put out heat. We needed help straight away, Because we have a 7 month old, and an almost 3 year old. I had never worked with this particular business before calling them but I could honestly say I was blown away by customer services.
He was done before 1pm, and this was not a small repair. It was a relief to know that it was done, and that our heat would be repaired, especially for our children. I would strongly recommend using this corporation.
Upon arriving to our house, he was respectful to our daughters, my wife, and our two cats. He explained everything clearly, answered each and every question, and also took the time to reveal the part that has been causing us trouble, what it did, and that which he thought the cause was.

If you are a senior person looking keep an eye out for
Peterman, they will take a advantage of your age since they know you are older and don't have a lot of knowledge about
repair costs.

I'm 84 but I'm sure your labor cost would be less if you are younger and need repair work.
I require a faucet that is external replaced, a friend name Shawn M recommed Peterman, and Drew Gomez came out to perform the repair job, which was a nice guy. The part price aprox $50 would be said by me,
and labor price for a hour shouldn't be around $200. With the
price for labor and the parts was $520. That means labor
price was $450. My physician does not charge that much.

Good folks. Competitive prices. Competent answering service (that is a huge plus -- it is not simply a service but I think Peterman workers ). I'm a happy fella.
The morning, the senior plumber, Drew, arrived with Blake. Same courtesy and professionalism as the morning. He spoke through the bigger job and that I had a competitive quote in my inbox (in my request -- they provided to stay to examine but I wanted to have to work) over the hour.
We looked in my concerns and Blake recognized. Nothing high pressure, only a"Keep a watch there because this was performed suboptimally." He wrote up a quotation for future work on the tasks, requested an opportunity to get a senior guy out to look at a tough job, and easily explained my choices (financing, service memberships, etc). Then he cleared the drain outstanding quickly and for less than I've seen anyone else bill (I've previously paid $100 for this pesky drain and have been quoted up of $200 -- Peterman's quoted $83 but it drops down to $50 with enrollment in their service plan at $16 per month that then goes to a charity you identify from their listing ).
I reached out to quote a few tasks but, furthermore, to tackle a stopped up drain. Blake came out that the morning following my call after a minute notification before his arrival. Super nice guy - don't know if it is just something Peterman instills or his character - and was very competent.

I think that this company is wonderful and that I seldom visit this extent, although That is my second review of Peterman's. They had a complicated installation on our new A/C units (two) and spent days getting it directly. A couple of unforeseen problems came up, and with good humor and hard work, the team kept at it until it was fixed. We had teams come out and every team was professional, comprehensive, and cleaned up. I really felt confident throughout that our unique, complicated system could be dealt with well. Petermans, Thank you. . .you have our company for life!!

NEVER AGAIN!!!!! I guessed I would have a drain clears while I was in the office. After they leave, my wife calls me to tell me there is approximately 1/4" of water throughout our mechanical room floor (wish I can post a picture). This conducted into our hallway resulting in the kitchen, which warped our laminate flooring. I phoned Peterman to have as the water all cleaned up, the tech return to finish clearing the drain. He and I were able to get the drain after showing the tech the system he was using worked. Their builder informs me that since they likely will not be able to match the flooring, Peterman will"certainly" replace the entire floor since I've almost 750 sq. ft. running continuously through the home without any breaks. Oh was he wrong. Instead I was provided a few hints of ripping flooring from my entryway to make the flooring repairs or closets. I said that if I'd have wanted it this way, I'd have installed it that way myself. I was then"offered" $100-200 to replace the flooring. Can I mention this was almost 750 sq. ft. of flooring? They did find a case of flooring from somewhere they said matched perfectly. The planks were chipped, After I opened the case and corners . In addition to this, the flooring appears as if it's light oak and my flooring looks like dark walnut (once again, wish I could post a picture). Congrats Peterman, you got your way, I needed to cut out flooring out of a cupboard to finish the flooring that you should have substituted in the first place. Oh and end user expires, it is said that they guarantee their drain cleaning for a year. Not so.... I had to contend with all the office staff that I should not need to pay again to get my own drain emptied because the drain never cleared in the first place. In order to begin work, the end user has to sign a form in order to provide permission to work in the home. What they did not tell us was apparently that this is really a waiver to prevent them from anybody coming back for damages or poor work against them. Safe to say I will never use this company again and would STRONGLY recommend you do not use them either...

The motto for this company ought to be"You'd be better off simply purchasing a new one". We were advised it would cost $1400 to fix a change along with a cracked heat exchanger (this is where they threw from the scare of carbon monoxide poisoning-dangerous scenario ). It would just be better to purchase a new furnace. They went to phone back with a quote. Days went by with no call. Because we called someone else that fixed our furnace for $20, that was be a good thing and could not find a crack in the heat exchanger. To add insult to injury we have called three times to opt out of the customer advantage for. We have to write a letter to get out of it. Seriously. Just called we can write a letter shoot an image of it and attached it to an emailaddress. I don't feel as though we ought to have to do this

This is for the Pipes Support:Update we did work that we were equally satisfied with
Very disappointed, we had a faucet installed 60 days ago and it leaks the origin is broke, my figure is due to being overly tight. The cost the replace the entire faucet, $192.00 the expense to fix only the drain $319.00. We had them have used them and set up a new HVAC. I guess I would expect more.

$400 to clean once the tech was there for some thing 21, an air conditioner coil which was readily accessible. I would prevent this business unless you have an excessive amount of money and need to eliminate some, although the technician was great.

I am located in Indianapolis, not Illinois. It's usually not the best idea to presume a customer made a mistake.
EDIT: For Jaclyn

1 st time that I used this organization. Excellent work, and nice folks, but expensive. Job that I'd done was substituting a hose bib. Took less than 1 hr and cost $ 430 with a coupon. That sounded like a lot considering I'd finished all prep work for accessibility and the bib accessibility was appropriate interior garage door. I would probably give someone else an opportunity time

They were three and a half an hour late to a scheduled time that THEY picked out. They stated that they bumped me for 2 of the"Preferred Clients". . .which makes the idea of earning an appointment completely worthless if they give your appointment to somebody else. I called the office to whine about this and was told that somebody would call me back. . .but that was over 4 times ago now. . .and I am still waiting. And they charged me $825 to simply clean an a/c coil and to add a Freon. . .this is about three times what it should have cost. They then wanted to inform me that the coil would be heading out in under a week, therefore it should be replaced by me instantly. First of all, you cannot tell when a coil will go out. . .they just needed to over-charge me for another occupation. And their quotation for this was three times what somebody else would have done it for.

Peterman arrived at high testimonials and we really needed an opinion we can trust for the review, after a preceding service of the very same machines which was insufficient and not enlightening of the actual conditions.
Their rates are very reasonable for the amount of service.
Their technician was able to respond incredibly quickly and was so thorough and professional in his review. He discovered many problems with the systems in question which we were never conscious of and guess the sellers were never conscious of as they were important safety hazards. We can not thank their services and Peterman and we will definitely buy our new prospective systems with their business.

All I gained was bills for diagnostics with no attempt in repairs after dealing with two other businesses to resolve my furnace being out for more than a week during below freezing temperatures. Only one company pointing a finger at the other, and that is it.
Peterman contractor, Mr. Peterson, came as quickly as he could through a busy season. Diagnostic charges are about the exact same as everywhere else... However he didn't leave until it had been fixed AND tested! He was quite honest and good at explaining things to another homeowner. My furnace is older than I am, without having to worry about having to use 3 layers of clothing or dividing water lines but that I can be in my home.

I sadly have had to call this past year. Meaning $$$. HOWEVER, fortunately, they are the firm to work with. Their staff from answering of the phone into the tech that comes to fix the repair - amazing. So professional and agreeable. The price is definitely sensible and you know they are being honest. Love this company! Thanks so much for the wonderful experience!

We moved into our house out of town and discovered Peterman Plumbing through Angie's List as we've never had one 40, to check at the drainage for our sinks and the functioning of our water softener. We purchased an Angie's List voucher to the support call for Peterman Plumbing. On November 13, the technician repaired the sink drainage difficulties but was not knowledgeable about water softeners. He said he had to"call a manager" to help him ascertain the problem with our water softener. He came back upstairs and said it was full of water, faulty and had to be replaced, while I worked in my home office without repairs would help. He provided some left and quotations. The quotations were reviewed by our household and sought a 2nd view who came by to analyze the water softener. The 2nd plumber informed us he had to close off the appliance instantly since it was continuously running water. A couple of weeks later we noticed our water bill was over $1,000 (generally around $200) because of an elevated reading between November 13 and December 6 and it resulted from this Peterman's failure to shut off the water softener or let us know we had to shut off it as our 2nd pipes did. We talked to a manager after getting the water bill and that he was quoted some insurance fine print speech that they could not touch our appliance and also perform repairs and not sympathetic. He had no explanation or apology. I told him when they had only told us that the softener used surplus water and had to be disabled we'd have asked him to perform it asked him how we can handle ourselves and we would not have such a bill. We spent down the drain that might have gone toward a water softener. Peterman Plumbing will never be used by us again and encourage you to keep away from their dreadful support.

Derrick was professional, very considerate, and helpful during my AC checkup. He gave me a few tips on maintenance items as well and seemed very knowledgeable. This is my first encounter with Peterman and I'm very impressed. Additionally, the tech bio sent out prior to the trip has been neat to have.

Heating and peterman are a business. In performing a great job, the technicians are trained. Ashley is the important person to acquire the appointments. She's considerate and helpful.
