They charge quite, perform expert level service and treat their customers directly.
They do full service on most of plumbing and hvac issues.
They are constantly available when an emergency comes up. 24/7 service these are the guys overly call day or night.
If it comes water heating - mech was the first company in the Midwest start installing and servicing them.
These are the guys you have.

My first appointment that they no-showed me. Struggled to try and work together but I had one more task they promised to finish on that could find a callback but they no-showed me. Spent a chunk of cash and not sure I am any better off than when I started.

I plugged my kitchen line up using the garbage disposal. Called at 10pm and they delivered a great guy out. I have got an older house and it required a fair amount of operating for the $170 they quoted me by 1am and snaking but they got me back up. Great service from beginning to end. They gave me some ideas for how best to stop it.

Justin Munsterman came outside to service my heating pump. When he'd be arriving he called ahead of time to confirm. He spent the time to walk through what he was doing and why. I was given his opinion on the condition/quality of both my heating pump and heating apparatus by justin. His honesty, professionalism, and ethics much exceeded any experience I have had before. He is a technician and a top quality individual. I strongly suggest working with Justin. I plan to ask him for all and any of my future A/C and heating requirements.

Fast forward to summertime 2017, and also our A/C has an issue. Naturally, I call the company that installed our A/C (maybe not R-Mech) to come have a look at it. The tech from the other firm analyzed our capacitor, which he said was in good shape, and then stated the problem was that the fan motor on the furnace was not functioning correctly. He said that because the furnace was really new, it needs to be covered by the guarantee, and suggested I contact R-Mech, who had installed on the furnace, to take action care.
We had a horrendous experience with this provider. R-Mech installed a new furnace in 2015 in our house. Our A/C went out. Naturally, the firm we called to find out about obtaining a was R-Mech. Unfortunately they were not able to get there for two weeks. So we hired another firm to put in a for us being that it was July when this happened, we couldn't wait that long. I understand in the middle of the summer they are busy while this was unfortunate that they could not get our A/C installed for this long, and this has NOTHING to do with the inspection.
The producer replaces the part when a component is warrantied. So to Jake and R-Mech, it shouldn't matter whether it's the client. They earn their money through service call fee and the labour. Why do Jake not do everything in his power to get the part? The only logical explanation that I can think of was that they were trying to charge me for the component, they would then guarantee and become provided a replacement by the manufacturer for free, so essentially they would be charging me for a $500 part that they got for free because they warrantied it, thus boosting their profit by $500.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! STAY AWAY!
So upon the other tech's recommendation, I contact R-Mech and explain that the furnace fan motor appears to be broken, and they have a technician. Our technician was named Jake, and our expertise with him was awful. He walked to our furnace area and immediately told me that the guarantee on the furnace was void since the furnace had been opened (by this he means that the screws were shot from the cover plate on the furnace). Bear in mind, it had been another certified HVAC technician that recognized the fan motor was busted and opened the furnace. He informed me that I'd have to pay complete price for the labour and the part to install it. He said that the guarantee was void, although I explained to him that it had been another HVAC technician that had opened the furnace. He also called his manager (I think his name was Josh) and allow me to talk to him, because I refused to concur that the guarantee had been void. Josh said that they would in fact guarantee the part, after explaining the situation to him, and also my cost are the labour.
We were scheduled to be out of town the day that R-Mech was able to come and replace the area. This was known by jake, and I told him we'd leave her a check and that my Mother-In-Law had volunteered to remain at our house. The day before the job was scheduled to be performed (and the day that my wife and I were leaving town), Jake called me and said that he had availability later in the day, and he thought he would get the job done that day. I was thrilled that we can get this taken care of a day but we still went to be out of town. My Mother-In-Law then said she could come over a day early so the repairs could get done as quickly as possible, and we'd have. So Jake came and got the part called me to tell me the total charges for the labour to install the new fan motor and replaced. The fee was about $75 higher than what we had discussed, and when I asked why, he explained there was an additional fee for an after hours service call. Nowhere in our telephone conversation at which he offered to come a day early did Jake mention that he could be charging an after hour service call charge to get it done that evening. I'd have had him come the next day if I had known there was going to be an extra cost. Then, about 15 minutes after hanging up the telephone he calls back and says that our thermostat is broken, and also also the thermostat that he had with him was $300. Before any of this happened the thermostat was working fine. I said that I'll explore replacing the thermostat when we return to town. Then he said that it might void the warranty should a thermostat was installed by anyone aside from a tech. I explained we'd be using another HVAC company to receive a new thermostat since I had been upset with R-Mech. He called back and informed me he made a mistake and the thermostat worked fine after hanging up. Tell me that is not fishy.
After speaking with Josh, they consented the part was covered by guarantee.

1 word The Kansas City A/C men to call everywhere. We have never found such along with temp is in the 90's! Very professional service.

Mike B. Was very professional and courteous whilst supplying me with a quotation for a brand new a.c. system. He is very knowledgeable about solutions and the process and supplies first rate customer service. Great job Mike!

Complete rip-off. They bill you to walk into the door and DO NOT apply it, it. If they show up for 5 minutes and do nothing whatsoever: $50 bucks. Not cool.

Especially, we had a problem with our cellar drain leaking water. We thought we would need a sump pump. We got about three quotes including R-Mech. R-Mech's employee advised us could put in one but he didn't think we had it. Instead, he advocated pouring about six gallons of water down the drain. We have never had a problem since, including during the recent 5-6 inch pouring in our region which flooded Indian Creek. I thank R-Mech to be honest, because none of the other companies gave us this option.
We have used numerous times to this business over the years: water heater replacement, pipes, garbage dispoal replacement, and water line for our refrigerator.
Their workers are helpful, friendly, and knowledgable. They are also quite honest.

Favorable knowledgeable technician. We've used earlier and highly recommend R-Mech. Have humidifier difficulty so coming back to check out in a few days.

I'm very impressed with the service. They did a great job with the tune-up. Their degree of punctuality, professionalism, and service were amazing. I have lived in my current house for 3 years and had to possess the A/C serviced. They showed up on time, were very comprehensive, answered all of my questions about the A/C unit, produced a few suggestions and provided a few helpful tips regarding use, maintenance, and maintenance. I'm very pleased with this company. I highly recommend them and will use them again.

Four companies were interviewed by me for the replacement of hot water heater and my 30 year-old HVAC. R-Mech was not the highest or the lowest but they were the most interested in. They offered a few suggestions that are good, were respectful of our ideas for high efficacy and, after a ton of measurements. What separate them was respect, not only conversation but also in action. They were the only one that bothered to cover their boots when they arrived in. The others tromped my carpeted halls down and never thought about it. That thought carried over to the occupation. They cleaned up after themselves, showed up on time, were polite, and professional. We'll use them.

Scheduled an appointment for AC service. Terrible, horrible service, and won't use them.
They wouldn't come out so I took off from work made sure to move my schedule around, and managed to set an appointment. They called me *6 hours to see if my time could change, which I could not. (I
had already moved too many things about to be able to do anything about
it) They then stated they would then come at the later end of their first. Waited until the last minute they
called me , essentially saying that afternoon they wouldn't be coming out. When I asked further, I essentially got a"rough, that's
how it is" speech from the individual on the telephone.

My air gave out at the middle of the afternoon, I would wake up dead if I do not have AC at night. I was promised by these men I would live, they sent somebody out by repaired day & my apparatus. Thank you R-Mech,you are

I was referred to R-Mech by a friend who had had any work. I see why she raves about their quality of professionalism and work. Did a great job. Very competitive price, came on time, functioned charged and efficiently exactly what we had consented. I will make certain to spread the word.

I had a slow principal drain from the kitchen/laundry area and thought it might be a problem at which it tied to the main sewer drain. R-Mech was conducting a promotion for cleaning the major sewer line. The day they sent me a confirmation with a picture of this technician which was a wonderful touch to ally of who would show up at the door any fears. The tech got to work and was very outspoken. He had the machine, although he discovered that due to the age of the pipes, the drain pipe size was small for his camera to go down. Because of the way the plug was found, until he eventually got it to the 33, he fought to get the snake to the system, but did not give up. He found the area of the clog, and not cleaned that section, but did the remaining pipe all the way to the main line to be sure. He explained to me what caused the drain to run slow, and also how to keep and fix it in the future. He put everything back the way it was and left the area cleaner than it was to begin with. In general guy - knowledgeable, efficient and personable. Fantastic guys to work with.
